In Chicago, Philip joins Elizabeth, who's happy to see him. They put together the operation to extract Dan Murton (Jonathan Kells Phillips), aka Harvest. On the day in question, Elizabeth and Philip are able to extract Murton, but they get in a shoot-out with the FBI agents there, which ends up killing the people Elizabeth and Philip were working with, and Murton ends up mortally wounded as well, though he tells Philip the sensor schematic is in Paris. Elizabeth and Philip get rid of the evidence and are able to flee Chicago.
