Before the rest of his brothers leave to fight Creepweed, Donnie is seen drinking from a soda hat. All the while, he has a significantly more intelligent look in his eyes than he did moments ago. This is meant to signal to the audience that Mikey's antidote is already reversing Donnie's condition.
