On Halloween night, Mario, Ash and Brock sit down to tell scary stories, although it comically goes nowhere. Arguing breaks out between the three, and Mario eventually states how much the episode sucks. At his computer, Richie realizes this. The two Pokemon trainers also agree and try to cheer Mario up by going to Luigi's party. The episode ends with a PSA on the 2008 Melamine scare. This special is notable, as it remained unavailable to the public for two years until it was finally made available again in the February of 2012.

On Halloween night, Mario, Ash and Brock sit down to tell scary stories, although it goes nowhere. Ash tells Brock his stories have never even scared anyone, to which Brock disagrees. During last year's Christmas Party at Gary's, Brock apparently told a story about a giant Geodude attacking everybody. Ash reminds him it was probably the fact a Snorlax was killed by a falling chandelier. Brock retorts Ash is simply jealous. Overhearing the argument, Mario says they argue more than he does with Luigi. Ash questions where Luigi is anyway. Mario replies he's getting his Halloween party ready. More arguing over trick-or-treating breaks out between Ash and Brock. Mario reminds them about the story telling. Brock tries to tell the story about his experiences at Gym Leader Camp, but Ash interrupts, reminding him he already told that one at Gary's just two weeks before. More arguing breaks out between the three, and Mario eventually states how much the episode sucks. At his computer, Richie realizes this. The two Pokemon trainers also agree and try to cheer Mario up by going to Luigi's party. The episode ends with a PSA on the 2008 Melamine scare.
