* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Saw's team is killed with only their helmets left behind. Ezra initially questions where the bodies went, but that's dropped as soon as Saw confirms they were killed.

** When Saw meets Kanan and Ezra, he complements that he never thought of meeting "another" Jedi survivor, let alone two. In ''[[VideoGame/StarWarsJediFallenOrder Jedi: Fallen Order]]'', he met Cal Kestis, who helped Saw and his troops save the Wookies from the Empire on Kashyyyk. Around that time, Saw first believed ''all'' Jedi to be dead, until he sees proof that some of them survived.

** The crew once again face off against battle droids isolated from the war, having previously done so earlier on in the season in [[Recap/StarWarsRebelsS3E04TheLastBattle "The Last Battle"]]. Unlike the droids on Agamar, however, these ones have been well-maintained.

* DeflectorShields: Sabine and Zeb find a shield generator, which they use to protect themselves from droidekkas.

* BigDamnHeroes: Kanan's team is cornered by battle droids using a destroyer droid as cover, until Saw bombs his way in through an adjacent passageway and disable the destroyer's shield.
* BreakOutTheMuseumPiece: Klik-Klak had been maintaining a sizable defense force of battle droids ever since his people were wiped out and using them to help defend the queen egg. They proved that they were still deadly effective when they wiped out Saw's team except for Saw himself.

* TheRemnant: The heroes find yet ''another'' battalion of Separatist droids, but these were controlled by Klik-Klak.

** When asked about what it's like to come back to Geonosis years after the Clone Wars, Rex mentions that he was hoping that he'd never have to see the "dustball" of a planet again--a comment similar to the one Anakin made in regards to returning to Tatooine in the ''WesternAnimation/StarWarsTheCloneWars'' movie.
