the Sphere data, ''Discovery'' journeys to a mysterious planet in hopes distress signal. A Kelpien ship might have been at the origin of finding a cure for "the Burn".

There's also the issue of Commander
Georgiou's deteriorating condition. Said failing health. Since Georgiou (Creator/MichelleYeoh) has traveled from another universe ''and'' through time, her molecular cohesion is suffering. The doctors can't think of any cure turns out or treatment. The Discovery computer, using Sphere data and updated Federation information, suggests they take Georgiou to be a PortalDoor to Dannus V.

On that planet, Georgiou and Commander Burnham find Carl (Creator/PaulGuilfoyle) near what looks like an ordinary door. Georgiou should go through
the MirrorUniverse, making its first return since door, Carl suggests.

Georgiou goes through
the series' first season. Meanwhile, door and finds herself back in the Prime Timeline, Stamets and Adira make a stunning breakthrough with the newly acquired data Mirror Universe, acknowledged as Emperor Georgiou on the Burn.
