** The movie Nino and Alya go to see is a sequel to the Ladybug animated movie, seen in "Animaestro"

* ADayInTheLimelight: Nino takes the spotlight for the first time since ''Party Crasher'', with Alya and Adrien having their share of development.

* NeverSayDie: Just before he's akumatized, Nino openly wishes that he could make Chat Noir "shut up" forever.

On the other, Alya created an effective lie to stop Shadow Moth from coming after her, and confiding it to someone who can't keep a secret will put her right back in the situation where her family can be kidnapped and killed. What did Marinette mean when she said "I trust you"?

* SwissArmyTears: Rocketear's powers involve flicking glowing tears from his eyes which strike with enough force to blow up a car. Strangely, when it hits Cat Noir, he just flies back into a van, severely hurt but not destroyed.

* CluelessChickMagnet: Discussed after Adrien sees Alya's new vid singing Cat Noir's praises on the Ladyblog. Plagg comments that his charisma must have leaked through to Cat Noir, and Adrien wonders if he accidentally amped up Cat's charm and made Alya fall for him. He quickly transforms and goes to talk to Alya to clear things up.

* InnocentlyInsensitive: Nino tells Adrien the reason why Cat Noir is being rejected by Ladybug even though he acted flirtily and romantic along with bringing roses and love confessions towards her was because he's "annoying". ** Bob Ross comes up with a cockamamie scheme of [[{{Franchise/JurassicPark}} putting a bunch of dinosaurs on an island and turning it into a theme park]].

Adrien learns from Nino that Nino and Alya are Carapace and Rena Rouge, which in turn makes Adrien suspicious that Ladybug allows others to know each other's secret identities but not him.
