* BeforeMyTime: While watching the black and white video of driving from TheFifthties, Kim and Ron have no idea what sock hops and soda parlors are.

When Team Possible arrives to rescue him, they are set upon by the now dangerous Destructobots, but manage to defeat them, with help from SADI. However, Drakken & Shego flee, setting the factory to be covered in molten metal; with SADI's circuits fried, Kim is the only one who can drive them out, so SADI admits she didn't help Kim during the test, allowing her to save the day (and capture Drakken as well). SADI later admits her earlier claim was a lie, but it did help Kim's confidence, allowing her to retake the driving test and learn a legitimate B-.

Driver's Ed is happening at Middleton High, which is considered a "rite of passage" for the teens, although Kim isn't worried (Ron however, fears failing and taking the bus like a student named Russ Needlemeyer). However, during the test, everyone, save her rival Bonnie, fails, frustrating her to no end. Meanwhile, automation expert Dr. Freeman is [[KidnappedScientist kidnapped]] by Drakken and Shego to help with Drakken's scheme to [[TakeOverTheWorld world domination]] by building an army of battle robots.

* KarmaHoudini: SADI's cheating on Kim's behalf is never found out, as Kim voluntarily retakes the drivers-ed test and gets a B- grade.

One of Freeman's projects, a [[ArtificialIntelligence self-aware car]] named S.A.D.I. ("Sadie"), enlists Kim's help to rescue the inventor.

* ScareEmStraight: Barkin shows the Driver's Ed class an old film called "The Ghost Car". Initially, Kim and Ron mock the [[TheFifties antiquated depiction of teenage life]], but then they are [[ReactionShot horrified]] by a gory crash scene intended to teach a lesson about careful driving.

* MagicFeather: [[ZigZaggedTrope Zig-zagged.]] First, S.A.D.I. gets Kim through the driving test by doing the driving for her, leaving her feeling guilty about cheating. Later, during the escape from Drakken and Shego, S.A.D.I. tells her that she'd actually passed the driving test fair and square on her own. After they make their getaway, S.A.D.I. admits that she herself ''had'' done the driving during the test, but that Kim had just driven them out of danger entirely on her own -- S.A.D.I. had been damaged and needed a human driver, so she lied in order to bolster Kim's confidence behind the wheel.
