** And from ''Octavia's'' perspective, your parents fighting is a huge one. Especially if you're afraid that the parent you're closer to might leave your family with their new paramoour, leaving you alone.

* UsedToBeASweetChild: As an owlet Octavia used to have a strong relationship with his father. But as a teen, she’s sullen and edgy, and makes no attempts to hide her resentment towards Stolas for cheating her wife for a imp. She’s also afraid that his father would abandon her for it.

** And from Stella's side of things, finding out that your husband has been cheating on you is considerable grounds for the kind of anger we see from her.

* JerkassHasAPoint: While it's implied that Stella's relationship with Stolas was never the best, and her parenting skills leave ''quite'' a bit to be desired, her anger at finding out that Stolas was cheating on her has some justification to it.
** Of course, the FantasticRacism involved in her anger kind of detracts from the point.

* CrappyCarnival: Loo Loo Land is an amusement park in ''Hell'', so of course it's full of rigged prize-games, creepy clowns, overpriced merch and death-trap roller-coasters. Octavia even implies that it's just a {{Shoddy Knockoff|Product}} of "Lu Lu World", a different amusement park owned by Lucifer (thus explaining the apple motif).

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: While the series has established Stolas as nothing more than a pervert and... well, ''a demon'', here we see that while his marriage is on the rocks, he legitimately loves his daughter and would do anything for her.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: While Stolas has acted like nothing but a pervert throughout the whole show and he has Blitzo tag along to flirt, he becomes visibly disturbed at the idea of getting Octavia involved with his affair, quickly changing the subject when he implies it over the phone.

* SkewedPriorities: Played with in terms of how Stella viewed Stolas cheating on her. She's mad enough about the deed itself, but it sounds more like she's ''royally pissed'' over the fact that he did so with what she sees as a lower class demon (in this case, an imp like Blitzo). In their own bed, no less. Her rage is taken UpToEleven during this exchange:

* PetTheDog: After the group arrives at Loo Loo Land, Blitzo offers to take the first shift so Moxxie and Millie can enjoy themselves at the park.
* ProperlyParanoid: Octavia questions why Stolas feels the need to hire bodyguards for a visit to a carnival, but Stolas assures her that plenty of people are after him because he's rich and beautiful. While those might not be the reasons, sure enough, throughout the episode Stolas is constantly hounded by various tiny demons with knives.

* AmazinglyEmbarrassingParents: The whole episode has Octavia trying to cheer up his daughter at Loo Loo Land (that is when he isn't hitting on Blitzo). Since she isn't five anymore, all it does is frustrate her.

* BodyguardingABadass: Stolas hires I.M.P. to guard him and his daughter when they have a day out, but it becomes glaringly obvious that he only hired them because he wanted Blitzo around. This is cemented at the very end, where he turns an assassin to stone with a ''glare'' when he threatens his new reconciliation with Octavia.

* OurDragonsAreDifferent: A giant, multi-eyed wyvern monster is apparently an attraction at Loo Loo Land's petting zoo. It has a standard bipedal dinosaur-like gate with a face resembling that of a [[PteroSoarer pterosaur]]. It also ends up [[JustDesserts eating the Fizzarolli robot]].

* TroubledTeen: Her parent's dysfunctional marriage had done a real number on Octavia, enduring their fighting in the morning as though it was a regular thing. By the end, she confesses that she's worried that Stolas's affair would have him leave and she would never see him again.
