there is such a thing as coincidence

* ThirteenIsUnlucky: This is the 13th episode of Season 3 and it's also where Invictus is freed by Ash and finally escapes Final Space.

Didn't alphabetize properly before, oops.

* {{Fingore}}: This time it's Ash karmically dishing this out to the Lord Commander.

Added DiffLines:

* WhamLine: Once Ash takes Mooncake's powers, she marks a grim turning point for the remainder of the episode with just eight words:
-->'''Ash:''' The keys is yours, Invictus. '''You're free now.'''
* WhamShot: Just to really hammer in one last time the sheer enormity of the consequences of the Team Squad's failures across the show to keep the worst case scenario from coming to life, the episode and the season as a whole closes on Invictus having escaped Final Space at full power and stature, with the crew looking microscopic and utterly powerless to stop it in comparison. And worst of all, various real-life factors have made it so that the entire show just ''ends'' on this.
-->'''Gary:''' My god...''[[HeroicBSoD what have we done?]]''

* NoEnding: The episode ends abruptly with Invictus breaking free and the team squad backed into a corner once again with the conflict still ongoing. This extends to the series and overall story too due to outside factors with several plot lines including the new rift between Avocato and Little Cato left completely unresolved.

Personal beliefs towards endings as well as external factors do not qualify towards downer ending. This show ended very abruptly and Olan made it very clear that this is not how he wanted the show to end. Because of this No Ending qualifies for this episode as the show was Cut Short. Please do not edit war on this. I’m sorry but I fell that this is more appropriate

* DownerEnding: Ash cements her allegiance to Invictus by exploiting Mooncake's powers to make way for its escape. The episode - and by proxy, [[ScrewedByTheNetwork the series as a whole]] - ends with Gary and the rest of the Team Squad looking on in stunned horror as Invictus is free to have its way with the universe.

I believe No Ending is reserved for intentional non-endings rather than premature cancellations. Also, I still consider this a Downer Ending at least within the context of the episode. Also also, did some general tweaking.

* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Mooncake's efforts to get Ash off the Team Squad's backs only serve to leave himself wide open for her to drain his powers and use him to let Invictus loose.
