* FriendshipMoment: Buffy and Faith, having had two years to grow as people on their own respective paths, finally have a heart-to-heart about their own differences and why they couldn't get along for so long. They end the conversation with a much better understanding and friendship, and true enough, Buffy finally trusts Faith from here on out.

* EasilyForgiven: Buffy doesn't even mention the fact that everyone betrayed her. Justified, as everyone's got much bigger fish to fry.

* NeverMyFault: The Potentials attempt to blame Faith for their defeat in the sewers in a cowardly roundabout sort of way. In fairness to them, it's clear that it's more out of guilt for betraying Buffy than any sort of blame-shifting, which she herself acknowledges as she defends Faith.
-->'''Buffy:''' ''(to the Potentials)'' "That could have just as easily happened to me."

* YouAreInCommandNow: With Faith taken out by the bomb, Kennedy assumes command of the Potentials against a Turok-Han. To her credit, she was doing a pretty decent job of strategizing until three more showed up.

* DidntThinkThisThrough: We find out just what happens when one give a leadership position to someone who has absolutely no experience: Faith's first plan leads herself and several Potentials into a DeathTrap involving a bomb and several Turok-Han vampires, with the survivors only being saved by Buffy's Big Damn Heroes moment. Several of them decide that the whole ordeal was LaserGuidedKarma for turning against Buffy.

* GettingCrapPastTheRadar:
** As the First is channeling Buffy, 'she' naturally makes a point of lampshading the sexual implications of "merging" with Caleb, much to his annoyance. "This is a sacred experience for me."
** Faith saying that her relationships never lasted long, then coyly adding that Robin Wood is an exception. "Boy's got stamina."
** Spike says he's done things with Buffy that he can't spell.

** Spuffy gets some too, with Buffy and Spike both admitting their time together the night before was more intimate to them than any of the times they've had sex, as well as Buffy seemingly nearly suggesting that something might happen between them after the apocalypse is over.
