Overlong plot summary replaced with concise version, as per mod decision.

Maeby happily walks into the Bluth household boasting about her C+ to her mother, Lindsay, who is proud of her accomplishment. Lindsay's brother, Michael, advises her sister to care more about Maeby's declining grades, which Lindsay prompts Lindsay to punish Maeby by forcing her to spend time with her sinister grandmother. Meanwhile, Michael walks in on Georghe Michael, his son insulting himself for struggling with homework and insists that the boy spend the day having fun rather than stressing about school.

George Michael flagrantly violates his father's wishes by going to work, only for Buster, his sheepish uncle, to ask him for help in buying marijuana for medical use. George Michael objects, but upon getting a hundred dollars from his father to have fun with and consulting with his conscience, George Michael pays GOB Bluth, his other uncle, to get marijuana for him. As all this goes down, Maeby tries to resist her mother by enjoying her time with her grandmother.

GOB tells Michael about his son's plans to buy marijuana, assuming it's for recreational purposes, and the two discuss teaching him a lesson like their father used to. To that end, Michael visits his father in prison to ask about the whereabouts of an armless friend who'd rip off a fake arm to frighten the young Bluths into learning a lesson. Michael's father fiercely denounces teaching lessons again and ends up forcing Michael to hire GOB's stripper friends in order to fake a drug deal gone wrong.

Down at the docks, George Michael meets GOB for the marijuana, as the strippers come in dressed as cops. Problem is, one of them is George Michael's teacher, so he immediately knows the cops are fake and calls out GOB and his recently arrived father for attempting to intimidate him just for helping Buster. George Michael leaves bitter as a real drug dealer approaches GOB and Michael. The two try to communicate they're not actually interested in a drug deal, only for a boat full of cops to come by and a firefight to break out between the dealer and the cops, eventually resulting in someone's bleeding arm to fall in front of Michael's face. Terrified, Michael looks up at one of the cops to see a familiar stump: the very stump belonging to his father's lesson bearing associate. Michael realizes his father has taught him yet another lesson:

''"You don't teach lessons to your son."''
