Replacing giant summaries with synopsis from the main Recap page.

It's summer and Henk is walking in a field, with his right arm in cast. He goes to Alfred's house just as Winnie exits and they greet each other, Winnie asks about Henk's arm and Henk says it's slowly getting better. Winnie comments on how nasty the accident was and Henk swears that he's going to drive more carefully. Winnie invites him to stay and eat with her and Alfred, saying that she's going to cook soon and there'll be enough for Henk tol, but Henk politely declines and that he doesn't want to disturb them. However Winnie insists, telling him to go inside with Alfred while she goes for a grocery run.

Inside, Alfred is cutting a large paper sheet into a spiral while Henk admires the silhouette shapes that have been cut into the paper sheets on the table, thinking that Alfred made them. Alfred explains that Winnie was the one who made those and Henk asks about his own works, so Alfred shows him one. The cut is clearly a truck but Henk doesn't understand it, while Alfred explains that it's supposed to be the specific truck that hit Henk and says that the truck bed ''[that's what they call the open box in a truck's back where the stuff is loaded, right? Right?]'' was hard to cut out. Henk still doesn't see it in the cutout and Alfred tells him to try for himself so that he'll see it isn't easy, and Henk insists that he could do better but can't because his arm is in a cast. Alfred continues cutting the spiral angrily while Henk says that he'd like to show off but there's a good movie on tv right now. He rushes to a chair in front of the television and turns it on, starting to watch a westener which is featuring a group of bandits chasing after a postcart and everybody shooting at each other. Alfred finishes his spiral by running out of the paper sheet and looks at the television for a while, but gets drowsy and falls alseep.

In a wild west setting, Alfred uses a revolver to sharpshooot glass bottles from fenceposts and every shot hits, causing Tom to cheer and clap. Alfred holsters the revolver and shows off by throwing a tin can into air, drawing quickly, and shooting a hole in the can before it lands. He then shoots it several times, when it's on the ground, which sends it flying, until it's full of holes and smoking. Tom admires Alfred and asks to be taught to use a gun, but Alfred tells him he's too young which Tom protests by saying that he's turning thirteen the next year, but Alfred calls him a child again. Tom shocks Alfred by telling him that Winnie likes him "very much" and Alfred tells him children shouldn't be talking like that, while Tom says that he's just telling the truth. Alfred tells Tom to go put new bottles on the fenceposts and Tom rushes to the task, asking if Alfred will teach him then. Tom comes back after setting up the bottles and Alfred tells Tom that first he's getting to hold the gun, saying that it's heavy while Tom thinks it isn't at all. Winnie comes out of the house and sees Alfred instructing aiming Tom to hold the gun with both hands, and then straighten his back. Alfred notices Winnie walking up to them and asking what he's doing and quickly snatches the gun from Tom's hands, while Winnie critisizes him for teaching Tom to shoot a gun.

Tom tells her that he's going to become a great gunslinger and he'll avenge their brother's death, but Winnie claims that if there weren't guns in the world their brother wouldn't have died, and says that nobody who relies on guns can be a real hero and that she hates firearms no matter who wields them. Alfred pulls the brim of his hat down in shame. Tom tells her she can't be serious but Winnie assures him that she is. They suddendly notice two people running from the prairie towards their ranch, yelling to Winnie that Henk has been shot. The three are shocked and run up to them, and the bear carrying Henk tells her that Krabnagel shot him in the town and they need to bandage the wound quickly. Henk is awake and cursing Krabnagel, but Winnie is extremely worried and tells the bear to rush Henk inside. The bear says that the town would be peaceful if it wasn't for Krabnagel's rampaging. They get inside and Alfred follows on the other side of the fence but stops at the porch, contemplating his own gun and pulling his hat's brim down. Tom watches as Alfred dissappears behind the house and runs after him. Alfred takes a horse and rides through the prairie with Tom following and tries to shake him off by crossing a river twice.

Alfred then arrives to the town with a determined expression, while Tom is still running after him. A crowd watches while Krabnagel exits the saloon to confront Alfred on the town road, remarking that they haven't met in a long while. Alfred angrily remarks that he hasn't changed at all, saying that somebody should teach him manners. Alfred comes down from the saddle and falls into mud while Krabnagel claims that nobody can beat him, but Alfred just wipes the mud off with his scarf and tells him that it's in no way certain. Krabnagel asks if ''Alfred'' thinks he can beat him and Alfred proclaims that he does, which Krabnagel deems "interesting" and tells Alfred they're going to see who's the fastest draw. While Krabnagel is putting on gloves Alfred tells him that he isn't fast, he's just shooting two guns at once. Krabnagel accuses him of chickening out and accidentally breaks his gloves with his claws, while Alfred asks for somebody to keep an eye for his horse. Tom reveals himself and offers to do it, surprising Alfred. Tom asks him if he's really going to win and Alfred assures that he will, ushering Tom to get away from the street and take cover.

Alfred kracks his knuckles and asks Krabnagel if he's ready to die, while Krabnagel tells him to start already. Alfred says fine and they walk closer to each other while the audience watches in anticipation. Krabnagel suddendly pulls out his two revolvers while Alfred draws his, and shoots Krabnagel's revolvers out of his hands and he only has time to pull the triggers once each, Alfred barrel rolling to dodge. After his barrel roll Alfred remains lying face-down in the street for a moment but then gets up unharmed while the spectators cheer and points his gun at Krabnagel, telling him that he's still too slow, which Krabnagel attributes to lack of practice. Inspector Sherlock as a sheriff is sleeping in his chair, but wakes up and lifts his hat out of his face when somebody enters. Alfred comes in with Krabnagel and apologises for disturbing Sherlock's beauty sleep, while casually explaining that he captured Krabnagel. Alfred advises Sherlock to keep him locked up in the future. Alfred then rides away leaving Tom calling for him to not go away, but Alfred just waves without turning around. Tom calls after Alfred pleading him to come back, but Alfred rides into the distance.

Alfred rides long through rocky desert and spends the night awake with a fire and coffee with his horse tied down nearby. He continues down a mountain the next day, and at some point leaves the horse and starts jumping and sliding down while carrying the saddle, while his voice narrates the environment and gushes over himself.

Down in the sandy desert, a postcart travels forward with a driver and an armed guard sitting outside. They're startled by a gunshot and the guard fears that it's the native americans but they notice a duck one of them recognizes as Alfred Jodocus Kwak. Alfred calls for them to stop and tells them his horse couldn't keep going. They ask if he has seen native americans and Alfred says that he hasn't, but there ''has'' been lots of smoke signals. The guard says that in that case they need to leave quickly, and Alfred throws his saddle on the roof and knocks on the door, asking if there's room for one more person. He opens the door which causes the saddle to fall on him, but when he gets up he immediately recognizes two inexplipacle passengers: Winnie and Henk who ask him where he's going and when he says he's going to Tombstone, Winnie says that she too. Alfred happily says how nice it is that they're going to the same place. Henk tells him that he's also going to Tombstone, which causes disbelief in Alfred. Henk then tells him that they're ''all'' going there, revealing that the other passengers are Ollie, Stoppel,and K. Rokodil. Ollie greets Alfred, who greets everybody, saying that it's nice to see all of them again.

As the postcart continues it's journey Winnie asks Alfred why is he going to Tombstone, but Alfred stares out of the window without responding. Henk tells her that Alfred is going there to get killed and Winnie asks what he's talking about and Alfred tells them to shut up, but Henk explains that Alfred wants to take revenge on a trio of brothers who murdered Alfred's father and brothers earlier. Winnie is horrified and says she didn't know about that, but Henk reminds her that all of this is just a dream and Winnie realizes that he's right. Henk tells her that Alfred is going to challenge the feared brothers to a gunfight, but in the end he's going to die himself. Winnie begs for Alfred to not go to Tombstone but Alfed tells her that he has to go or the dream will become so boring that nobody will watch it to the end. Henk agrees, saying that dreams need to have excitement in them.

An arrow suddendly comes through the window and barely misses Henk's head, scaring him and causing him to fall on the floor. Alfred yellsthat it's the indians and everybody rushes to the windows while the guard starts shooting and the driver tries to get the horses to go faster, sending the cart flying at holes and bumbs in the ground a sending Henk flying around inside the cart, yelling that they'll never get to Tombstone. Alfred sticks his head and wings out of the right window and starts shooting with his rifle, while Stoppel leans out of the left one with a pistol to shoot at the large mob of riding native americans that chases them.

Suddendly king Franz's voice comes in sounding like a radio or a megaphone yelling for them to be faster or they'll get caught. Rokodil also holds his rifle out but stays inside, while Henk climbs to hang on the gun and pull the trigger while Rokodil does the pumping. Franz's voice tells them to shoot and tells them they're doing just right. As the shooting continues and the native americans are almost reaching the cart, Franz again tells them to go faster and calls for the indian who got hit to fall over. The "camera" reveals that there's a car or motorized platform with Franz acting as a movie director while the frog minister is a cameraman. While Franz asks if the guy didn't hear him, the frog minister explains that the terrain is rocky and could hurt them, and they're almost at the soft sand where people can fall.

The shooting continues, Alfred has gone back in and comes out of the window in Stoppel's, Henk's, and Rokodil's side, and climbs from there to the roof. However Franz calls for a cut and Tells Alfred that he was way too slow and subdued, and tells him to redo the scene with more anger. Alfred is angry and complies, going down and then quickly returning on the roof where he grouches next to the guard and takes shots at the native americans from behind the luggage but starts shooting in different directions as the gun-wielding native americans as they encircle the postcart, but everybody is still moving forward. One native american's horse falls over dramatically and he falls on the ground while Franz yells at them to not raise so much dust, complaining that nobody can see anything. One of the natives aims for Henk but he shoots first with his revolver, causing the same to happen to him that happened to the previous native american. Henk stands on the windowsill and twirls the gun with his injured arm, but almost drops it and falls inside, while Franz yells for him not to improvise and follow the script instead. Henk peers out of the window and apologises. In the roof Alfred and the guard are still shooting in different directions but Alfred's rifle runs out of ammo, so he throws it away and starts shooting with the revolver. Winnie peers out of the door window, but is terrified by a hail of arrows and immediately ducks back inside and kneels on the floor to pray for god to save them. Suddendly her and Ollie' who was shooting out of a right side window, hear a bugle. Winnie says that the cavarly is coming to help them and the cavarly unit storms in, scaring the native americans away.

The unit escorts the postcart to Tombstone. In the saloon people are drinking milk and listening to a piano player while the brothers (the guards from Waterland's castle) are drinking at a table. One of them walks across the bar to the desk which a bartender Sir Poen Van Kale Koen is sweeping and orders more milk. Sir Poen pours him a mug, but he snatches the whole can and takes both to the table and tells his brothers they're going to go into a bender. Henk comes in and spots the brothers, and walks to the bar and loudly asks for orange juice which shocks sir Poen and the patrons. Everybody stops what they're doing and stares at him, and he asks again. The same brother who got the milk can walks up to Henk, who's frightened by his approach, and informs him that they're in a bar and not a juice stand. Henk proclaims that he wants juice and the brother tells him that nobody in this bar will drink anything but milk, while sir Poen and the other bartender fearfully take a mirror down from the fall. Henk asks for juice for the third time and a woman from the walkway on top of the stairs tosses the brother a rifle. He catches it and approaches Henk, saying that he's going to drink milk or he's going to die and explaining that milk is healthy. Henk tells him to cool down and explains that he has a message from Alfred Jodocus Kwak, which makes the other two brothers jump. The message is simple: Alfred is challenging the three to a fight as a revenge for the murder of his father and brothers. The brother is angry and tells his own brothers that they're going now. They down their mugs at once, and the leading brother promises a round of milk for the house, telling them that today they will drink to Alfred's death. The bargoers all cheer and two brothers smash their mugs on the ground before following the leading brother outside. One of them comes back to smash the third mug and the can that still had milk in it, and somebody else's mug, before running after the others. Once they're gone and animals are crowding at the bar for their drinks, Henk orders milk.

It's night outside and the three brothers walk down the street with people watching from shelter, and the owner of a newspaper telling his writer that they will put Alfred's death on the front page tomorrow. The brothers sneak through the streets while looking around in paranoia until they reach the wider main street, where Alfred emerges from the shadows. They walk towards each other with rifles in hand without saying anything until Alfred calls them villains, and the leading brother tells him to shut his beak. Alfred isn't looking at his feet and trips on a can, falling ovr and accidentally firing once.

Winnie, walking up some stairs, hears three gunshots andcries because she thinks Alfred died. The bar is quiet and everybody is waiting for somebody to enter. The leader of the brothers comes in alone and without a word, and Henk shakes in fear. The brother takes Henk's glass which causes him to protest, only to suddendly collapse before he can drink. While everyone's staring at the body, Henk cheerfully orders a new mug.

Some time later Alfred and Winnie are riding on a simple horse carriage, and Winnie asks Alfred if he really isn't going to fight anymore. Alfred tells her that he doesn't have to anymore because he was made a sheriff.

At the train station Geppe stares in through a ticket booth window, asking the bird when a train from Tallas is coming and the bird answers that exactly at two p.m. Geppe walks away while the bird peers out of the window after him. Geppe returns to the other animals waiting by the rails and goes to stand in the middle of the rails, telling the others when the train is coming. A stuttering budgie asks if "boss" is on the train.

Pikkie runs to the sheriff building and interrupts his paperwork by barging in and panickedly yelling about "horrible news". When Alfred asks what's going on Pikkie tells him that Dolf is coming to Tombstone on the two o'clock train. Alfred is shocked and Pikkie explains that Dolf's men are already standing in wait at the station. Alfred says that he didn't know Dolf would be let out from prison, and Pikkie assumes that Dolf plans to take over Tombstone again. Alfred resolves to prevent his plans and drive him out like he did three years ago, saying that it will be much easier this time since Alfred will get all the citizens on his side. Pikkie says that it's not certain and tells him that some people are missing the good old times, and find peace boring. When guns were going off and men were fighting, life was much more exciting. Alfred loses his temper and goes on a rant, jumping on his table and asking if these people miss murderers and robbers, and if the air needs to again be filled with gunpowder smoke. He yells that he doesn't believe it. Pikkie tells him that the people no longer remember the bad things, just how they became rich. Alfred jumps down and yells that some became rich while some lost everything. Pikkie explains that the townspeople have changed in the three yers Alfred was away, but Alfred puts on his hat and says that he will go to ask around for people to help him, certain that there will be many of them.

Alfred talks to the townspeople in the church, telling them that he will need as many helpers as possible so that he will be able to prevent Dolf's plans and prevent him from destroying their town. However, the audience is apathetic at best.

Meanwhile, Geppe and the others are still at the station and Geppe walks to the rails again. While everybody else looks into the distance, a dark bird drinks milk from a bottle, spilling it on himself. Geppe turns and yells at him to stop drinking, saying that the drunk is going to get diarrhea if he keeps drinking at that pace. The drunk stops drinking with a burb and wipes his beak, breaking the bottle by tossing in on the rails.

Alfred continues his quest for supporters in the saloon, telling the bargoers that they need to combine their forces and try to drive Dolf and his villains out so the town will be saved. The patrons just glare at him, and one of them throws a banana peel in Alfred's face and tells him he's the one who should get out of there.

The train approaches station with Dolf on board, while Alfred walks to the sheriff house where Winnie is sitting. Alfred asks if she got anybody and she says no, also informing Alfred that Pikkie has fled and handing him Pikkie's deputy star. Alfred tosses it on the floor in fury and calls Pikkie a coward, but Winnie says that she understands him. There are six men waiting for Dolf at the station. Alfred maintains that he can't flee because he's the sheriff but Winnie tells him that even though this is all a dream the bullets will still hurt just as much as they would in real life. Alfred takes a rifle from the rack and tells her that dream or not, he will fight to the death and drive Dolf and his people out. Winnie says that she doesn't want to see the rest of this dream, and asks Alfred if they couldn't wake up already. Alfred tells her that he is sorry but he can't do so. They then hear the train whistle.

Dolf steps out of the train car while his men stand next to the door, and looks around. He then throws his duster coat off and grabs a holster belt his men have set on a barrel, telling the men to follow him. Alfred steps out of the sheriff house and walks into the middle of the main street, while Dolf and his gang stand waiting. Alfred orders Dolf to go away and take his trash with him but Dolf tells him to talk while he still cannand threatens to pepper him with gunpowder. Alfred shoots at him and goes for a barrel roll which Dolf and all of his men imitate, while everybody's still shooting while they roll across the street. Alfred runs behind the building and the corner he dissappeared behind is shot full of holes, while Alfred continues shooting from under the porch and Dolf's gang returns the fire. The porch siddendly collapses on them but Dolf crawls out from under the rubble and shoots at Alfred while he runs to a house and shoots back before ducking through the house's door and returning fire from the windows. Alfred sneaks to the roof while Dolf leads his gang to storm the house, and Alfred pushes the door's facade on them, crushing them.

Alfred falls with the facade but lands on his feet and is fine, but runs away while Eolf, Gepe, and two gangmembers chase him down the street while using the facade or a large piece of it as a shield. They shoot at each other while running in a straight line, until Alfred runs into another house and crams himself inside the metal stove. He then jumps into the street inside it, using it as an armor and advancing towards Dolf's gang. However, Dolf, Geppe, and four gangmebers ram the house facade into him, sending the roundish stove rolling. They then smash the facade down on Alfred, leaving him with no place to go. Dolf tells him that they've got him and the gang starts shooting at the stove, and Dolf tells the gang to kill him, commenting that the show is nearing the end, but Alfred yells that he will not give up even in the last minutes and keeps shooting back through the hole. Dolf proclaims that next week he will become this shows hero, and it will make the watcher numbers skyrocket.

Suddendly something starts cutting the facade's wood - the facade being flat on the ground! Dolf is shocked and confused by this turn of events, while the cutting item is revealed to be scissors. Alfred peeks out of the stove and notices the scissors while Dolf yells at his minions for not hitting Alfred. Alfred asks the cutter - Winnie standing in some dark space - what is she doing and Winnie tells him she's going to help him out of there, scissoring a circle around Alfred and the stove. Alfred tells Winnie to leave him and says that he's the hero of this story. Winnie tells him that the story is ending now, and she doesn't want to see him die even in a dream. Alfred tells Winnie to stop andsays he wants to continue the dream, but Winnie finishes cutting out the circle under Alfred and he falls into darkness, shocking and confusing Dolf. The gang runs up to the hole and peers in, while Dolf wonders what the heck happened and fumes about Alfred getting away just as he was about to nail him. Suddendly he notices a smell and wonders what it is, while Geppe calls it delicious and says somebody is cooking.

Some noises Alfred makes and Winnie calling to Henk intrude into the dream. In the real world Winnie is cooking vegetables on a pan and Henk is still watching for television. Winnie asks Henk to wake Alfred since the food is almost ready. Henk turns the television off and walks over to the chair Alfred's sleeping in and calls his name, telling him that the food is ready. Alfred wakes with a yawn and Henk laughs about how he didn't get anything done, but Alfred tells him he should've seen all the things he did in a dream.

The shooting continues,
Alfred has gone back a dream in and comes out of the window in Stoppel's, Henk's, and Rokodil's side, and climbs from there to the roof.

One of them walks across the bar to the desk
which a bartender Sir Poen Van Kale Koen he is sweeping and orders more milk. The same brother who got the milk can walks up to Henk, who's frightened by his approach, and informs him that they're hero in a bar cowboy movie. He arrests bandits and not a juice stand.

It's night outside and the three brothers walk down the street
deals with people watching from shelter, and the owner of a newspaper telling his writer that they will put Alfred's death on the front page tomorrow.

Geppe
old enemies. But then Dolf returns to the other animals waiting by the rails and goes to stand in the middle of the rails, telling the others when the train is coming.

Alfred says that he didn't know Dolf would be let out from prison, and Pikkie assumes that Dolf plans
to take over Tombstone again.

!! Tropes:
* BreakingTheFourthWall:
** In-universe/within-a-dream example: While riding to postcart, Henk explains to Winnie that Alfred's father and brothers weren't really shot and that this is all just a dream.
** In the same scene Alfred explains to Winnie that he has to go to fight in Tombstone of the dream will become so boring that nobody will want to watch it. Henk agrees and says that dreams have to be exiting.
** When Alfred has been pinned down during the firefight, Dolf tells his nen to kill Alfred already, since the show is ending soon. Alfred responds that he's not going to give up even in the last minutes.
** And immediately after:
---> '''Dolf:''' Next week i will become this show's hero, and the amount of watchers will skyrocket!
** Shortly after, Dolf has a dream to in-universe real world example, when smells Winnie cooking in the real world.
* ImperialStormtrooperMarksmanshipAcademy: Nobody hits anything in the final battle.
* NeverBareheaded: Dolf keeps wearing a white stetson the whole time, leaving it unclear if his dream self has hair or not.
* ThePosse: Alfed strongly believes he can form a large posse to fight Dolf and his gang. However, the people either don't care or tell him to bug off, which leaves him completely alone when even Pikkie flees.
* ARoundOfDrinksForTheHouse: The leader of the brother trio call for a round before going out to fight Alfred, telling them that they will be drinking to Alfred's death.
* FrothyMugsOfWater: Alcohol is replaced with milk, but this might be intentional. One of the brothers threatens to kill Henk for not ordering milk and says that milk is healthy, and we even see a drunk at the strain station chugging milk straight from the bottle. Geppe tells the drunk that he's going to get a diarrhea from all that drinking.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: King Franz suddendly appearing as a movie director which implies Alfred is dreaming he's in a movie, but then dissappears and is never brought up again.
* CartoonCreature: The three brothers are Radboud's/Franz's royal guards, and as specieless and incomprehensible as before.
* DyingWalk: It's left extremely ambiguous whether or not the keader of the brothers died before/after falling out of frame when he collapsed at the bar, though any of the tree are never referred to for the rest of the runtime. If he died it's a straight variant, if he lived it's a nonlethal variant.
* HammerSpace: Henk is apparently carrying a gun, but said gun is almost the same size as his body, with no realistic place for him to put it.
* AndNowForSomethingCompletelyDifferent
* ArtisticLicenseGunSafety: Alfred's finger is on the trigger while he blows smoke from the barrel. He also twirls them around. Later he does the same with a large rifle, finger on the trigger to boot.
* ButNowIMustGo: After arresting Krabnagel Alfred goesaway, leaving behind the town,Henk, Tom, and Winnie.
* CowboyEpisode
* DreamEpisode
* DualWielding:
** Krabnagel shoots two revolvers at once.
** Also Ollie in the postcart fighting scene.
** And Dolf by the end of the final battle.
* FamedInStory: Famed in-dream. Lots of random people seem to recognize the westener Alfred by appearance.
* NeverTrustATitle: This episode barely has american indians (or the other indians), and nobody seems to be a cowboy either. The finnish title, ''"Alfred as a westener hero"'' is much more accurate.
* TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou: In-universe example: When Henk watches the television in the beginning, we see dust flying out of the television screen. [[WeirdnessCensor Henk doesn't react to this]].
* TheCavalry: The literal cavalry acts as this by driving away the native americans who are attacking the postcart.
* DubNameChange:
** The finnish dub renames the town of Tombstone "Kalmala" ("kalma" is an old finnish word for death or related folklore things, while "-la" is a common surname and place name suffix).
** The brothers who shot Alfred's father and brothers in the dream are renamed the Kolhonen brothers in the finnish dub.
* The finnish dub has the place Dolf was imprisoned in named "Tallas".
* GunTwirling:
** Alfred does this while holstering his revolver, and when he plays with the gun later in the same scene.
** Later he proceeds to do the same with a rifle about as tall or taller than his own body.
** In the postcart fight, Henk does this - in the middle of a firefight!
* NiceHat: Alfred's red cowboy hat. He later switches to a green one with a blue necktie, which is also nice.
* RealMenWearPink: Alfred wears a pink bandana for most of the dream. Dolf also wears one when he shows up, and so do a few background male characters.
* UnexpectedCharacter:
** Krabnagel shows up (but only in a dream) after last appearing in season 1 episode 13, nineteen episodes ago.
** Geppe, who was a rather minor character in the Crows' Party episodes never heard before or since, appears as one of Dolf's gang.
* ShootItOutOfTheirHands: Alfred does this to Krabnagel's guns.
* PoliceAreUseless: The sheriff version of inspector Sherlock in the dream sleeps in his chair instead of trying to do something about Krabnagel, even when he proably hears the gunshots and commotion just outside.
* FreezeFrameBonus:
** The drunk and the budgie at the train station are the redshirts Alfred and the company ran into while escaping from the National Crows' Party in episode 23.
** The coat Dolf wears in the train (that he quickly tosses off) looks like a westener version of his second NCP uniform's coat.
* GoodHairEvilHair: Dolf has an evil one. However he doesn't have the usual hitler mustache in this episode, instead having an outsticking pencil mustache. Suitably enough, since this is a western and the pencil mustache was/is common with western villains.
