* ''Anime/SonicX'':
** In episode 17, the MonsterOfTheWeek references ''Anime/CuteyHoney'' by imitating [[Main/InTheNameOfTheMoon Honey's catchphrase.]] The catchphrase in itself isn't particularly naughty, but you wouldn't expect Sonic X to reference a franchise [[Main/BestKnownForTheFanservice infamous for its borderline hentai content...]]

* Radar/YuGiOh

* ''Anime/YuGiOh'':
** Original ''Yu-Gi-Oh!'':
*** As DarkerAndEdgier the ''original'' version of the ''Manga/YuGiOh'' manga is, even they have a line. In the original manga version of the Battle City arc, [[http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Necrofear Dark Necrofear's]] was originally called "Dark Necrophilia". For obvious reasons, it was changed in the next issue.
*** Another manga example: Early in the Duelist Kingdom arc when Mai and Dinosaur Ryuzaki duel over a room, Mai says if Ryuzaki wins, they'll do [[UnusualEuphemism the body shuffle.]] Ryuzaki, who was earlier mentioned to be 15, gets very excited at the possibility of getting laid.
*** Talking about 4Kids, in the English dub of DM, episode 132, for some seconds you can hear Kaiba and Yami moaning. In a very suggestive way...
*** Speaking of moaning, in episode 127, Kaiba practically climaxes when Marik summons his god card. It was apparently naughty enough to be missing completely in the dub version.
*** In episode 100, when Yami duels Gansley, there's a moment when Gansley bounces an attack by Celtic Guardian back at Yami. The way Yami's head snaps back, eyes go blank and he screams make it look like something else happened.
*** In an episode of the manga and in the Japanese version of the anime, Yugi and a brainwashed Jounouchi are dueling against each other in a death match. At the end, Yugi decides to fire the final blow against himself, so that the other could get saved. While explaining his intentions to Jounouchi, he tells him "Daisukida". As you might know, the verb "suki" means "to love", but it can also mean "like" and be used without having other implications. Whatever [[HoYay your personal translation of this line]] might be, it's worth to notice that the Viz Comics version of the manga literally translates it with "I love you". However, it should also be noted that the "dai" in "daisuki da" changes it to something along the lines of "really like", so "I love you" could be considered more accurate.
*** Speaking of which, 4kids didn't change how Yugi's Battle City duel with Joey (possessed by Marik) involved the loser being dragged down into the water. They could've said there was, say, a whirlpool portal to the Shadow Realm but nope, loser drowns.
*** It's clear that 4Kids has edited a few scenes where characters were drinking alcohol. However, in ''Pyramid of Light'', Croquet states very clearly that Pegasus is drinking red wine. How they missed that edit is unknown.
** ''Anime/YuGiOhGX'':
*** In the midst of all its {{Bowdleris|e}}ation, the ''Yu-Gi-Oh! GX'' dub still had [[DubText its moments]]:
---->'''Alexis:''' Well, you haven't grown up too much.\\
'''Pierre:''' My! ''You'' have.
*** Or when [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold Chazz]] pays [[SmallAnnoyingCreature the Ojamas]] a rare compliment:
---->'''Chazz:''' You're the aces of my deck!\\
'''Ojama Black:''' Did you say...\\
'''Ojama Green:''' "Aces"?\\
'''Ojama Yellow:''' That really hurts, boss! Aren't you tired of insulting us?
*** Bastion's night with Taniya is ''way'' more ambiguous in the original. Nothing's more kid-friendly than the distant screams of a possibly-brainwashed teenaged CelibateHero being raped by an ActionGirl.
*** Don't forget the time Jaden called Hassleberry "Dingleberry" during their first duel.
*** To remove references of hermaphroditism, Yubel was changed to purely female in the dub, except: 1) "Her" left part of the body (most obviously being the chest and leg) is still definitively male. 2) "Her" past life is very obviously voiced by a man. So in attempting to remove filthy unsightly material, they [[DubText turned Yubel into a Transexual]]. [[GagDub Wow]].
*** And when it comes to the Japanese version, a blogger has made a [[http://se-to-oh.tumblr.com/post/68382718808/gx-a-not-so-short-analysis-on-yubels-gender-and well-written analysis]] about Yubel's original gender, with the conclusion being that in the past life, Yubel was a ''man''. It's only further confirmed when he had a teenager male voice in his human form, and he only became a hermaphrodite after becoming a Duel Monster. So, the OfficialCouple of GX can be seen as a gay couple in a way. Wow.
*** There was a time when Yubel was [[http://akizaizinski.tumblr.com/post/89972742944 jealous of Johan,]] because they thought that Judai loved him instead of them. The best part is that Judai did not say anything to object to this.
*** Orlando's victory dance and song:
---->"Rah rah ree, kick 'em in the knee! Rah rah rut, kick 'em in the [[SubvertedRhymeEveryOccasion other knee]]!"
*** Nothing from Duel Monsters Spirit Day, yet? Syrus suggested that Alexis dress up as Dark Magician Girl...but...she had a different idea. Then, it cuts to a close-up of boobs, then a butt...only to reveal that [[FanDisservice Dorothy is wearing the Dark Magician Girl costume!]]
---->'''Chumley:''' C'mon! You don't think Dorothy pulls that off?\\
'''Syrus:''' Pull it off? Don't put that image into my brain, please Chum!
*** When Jaden first met the Neo-spacians, he remarks: "A dolphin with legs? Wait, is that where fish-sticks come from?"
** ''Anime/YuGiOh5Ds'':
*** [[http://i45.tinypic.com/2u793lx.png This]] blink-and-you-miss-it shot from episode 94. Just wow, Japan.
*** [[http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4077/4778702525_d6581ea144_z.jpg The Classy Ass]].
*** Barbara, from the Crashtown Arc, is dripping with this. She's dressed provocatively, drapes herself over the gang leaders who run the town, is implied to trade sexual favors for a high position in the gang, and tells a captive [[MrFanservice Yusei]], in a ''very'' seductive way, that she'll save him from life working in the mines...if he becomes her [[SexSlave personal slave.]] Not something you'd expect from a show about card games...
** ''Anime/YuGiOhArcV'':
*** ''ARC-V'' seems to invoke this on a series-wide level: no death or murder is ever mentioned, but the concept of sealing people into cards shows up repeatedly as a metaphor for death, right down to those who witness it being traumatized. Considering that the dub[[note]]though less so with the original Japanese[[/note]] has a tendency to do this with every reference to death in the previous series, this alone doesn't seem very big... Except when the writers start talking about [[spoiler: an inter dimensional war]] where [[ANaziByAnyOtherName one side is trying to eradicate another for a "higher goal," including children and civilians.]] In other words: this series somehow sneaks '''''genocide''''' past the radar [[WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids on a KIDS show, not just for a single episode, but as a major element of the plot that's fully]] PlayedForDrama!
*** The second season introduces Sergey, a CombatSadomasochist whose strategy involves torturing himself with [[NaughtyTentacles vines]], and canonically derives pleasure from receiving and inflicting pain. His monsters are also trapped in torture devices, with one of them being a woman BoundAndGagged on a breaking wheel. Interestingly, nearly all of this gets into the dub uncensored, though the dub makes Sergey more of a LargeHam to downplay the more serious and scary aspects of his character.

*** No, I'm sorry, this is just wrong. Firstly, Gou-kun and gokkun are pronounced very differently in Japanese (the first has longer vowel length, and no glottal stop in the 'k'), and secondly, gokkun ''can'' refer to swallowing semen, but doesn't have to. It can also function as ordinary onomatopoeia for any sort of swallowing.

* In ''Manga/AxisPowersHetalia'', China meets a Hello Kitty rip-off named Shinatty-chan. "Shina" is a Japanese word for "Chinese" that is roughly comparable to the word "Negro" in the US; a formerly neutral word made charged by its derogatory use in history.
** There's a recurring joke about some characters "invading" someone's "vital regions", and others either noting how inappropriate it sounds or making even more inappropriate comments...
-->'''Austria:''' That was sad. My vital regions, forcefully seized by Prussia...\\
'''Empress Marie Therese:''' ... That sounded kind of lewd, you know.

-->'''Austria:''' Prussia has occupied my vital regions! Summon the soldiers! They must be retaken immediately!\\
'''Empress Maria Theresa:''' Er, there are more decent expressions for it...
** England refers to Germany as a "Kraut", a slur for Germans used by the Allies in World War II, on more than one occasion. Additionally, the Allies-and-Axis sketches on the Allied meeting chalkboard have Germany labled as "Kraut"...and Italy as "wop."
** Somehow in the dubbed version, Romano says to Germany "I've got a little surprise for you!" [[spoiler:It's a mustache.]] Germany replies "Great. What is it, another Jew?" How in pasta's name did they get THAT past the radar? Hetalia is known for being inappropriate by most people in the non-Japanese world. (Probably because the dub added things that were NOT in the original. Like that scene)
*** There was another moment like this from the dub, where Italy keeps pestering Germany to play football with him while Germany is reading to the point where Germany stands up and yells at "Are you wanting me to gas you?!" Wow.
*** There's another where Italy accidentally shouts "Sieg Heil!" but then instantly corrects himself with "Yes, sir!" towards Germany. Quite disgusting, considering these were nonexistent in the original.
*** This was more the fact that Funi didn't ''bother'' with the radar -- the show is rated M in the US.
** The original version of "Battle for America" had another one of these. When Finland mentions seeing a little child around (baby America), Sweden asks him if he wants to have a child, and after letting Finland gush some over little America more he promises to do "his best". Since Sweden calls Finland "his wife", this implies that Sweden might have thought of having sex with Finland [[MisterSeahorse and see if he can get him pregnant]]...
** Let's not forget the Italy brother's curls being an erogenous spot. Makes you wonder about Turkey, Greece, Canada, America, Taiwan and Korea. And, especially the player himself, Rome, who has THREE individual curls. And this is the man who grandfathered the Italies.
** There's also the scene where it is implied that Japan and Greece had sex:
--> '''Japan''': Doddering old men like me envy your vigour...\\
'''Greece''': Eh... It doesn't require that much energy, does it? It's best Japan likes doing it more. Though it might hurt at first...\\
'''???''': ([[SexyDiscretionShot Japan's House]]) AAAAAARGHNN \\
'''China''': Shut up, [[VerbalTic aru]]--!!\\
'''Japan''': A dream?! Is this an 'it was all a dream' ending!? I'm so glad it was that kind of ending-!!
*** Even though they're in bed, Japan is either naked or shirtless and Greece is sleeping beside him.
** The scene where Rome comes back to visit Italy and spends the night conversing with Germany.
--> '''Rome''': So tell me. what kind of a man doesn't have a women in bed with him every night? When I was your age, I had a plethora of a lovely ladies around me. Oh? Are you not into girls?
--> '''Germany''': I VILL PUNCH YOU IN ZE SROAT! \\
'''Rome''': Oh, come one now. Don't be so sensitive! No one here's a judging! There's nothing wrong with playing for another team. And everyone likes to experiment a little, except me, of course.
** Rome asks Germany if he's ever masturbated. Germany also says no, to which Rome replies by getting on his knees and raising his hands in a prayer position saying "You must be a Saint!". And Germany's reaction to finding Italy in his bed "How the Holy Fuhrer!"
** A lot of those reasons are why Hetalia isn't broadcasted on tv, I guess there was too much crap getting past the radar.

** As DarkerAndEdgier the ''original'' version of the ''Manga/YuGiOh'' manga is, even they have a line. In the original manga version of the Battle City arc, [[http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Necrofear Dark Necrofear's]] was originally called "Dark Necrophilia". For obvious reasons, it was changed in the next issue.
** Another manga example: Early in the Duelist Kingdom arc when Mai and Dinosaur Ryuzaki duel over a room, Mai says if Ryuzaki wins, they'll do [[UnusualEuphemism the body shuffle.]] Ryuzaki, who was earlier mentioned to be 15, gets very excited at the possibility of getting laid.

**** Speaking of which, 4kids didn't change how Yugi's Battle City duel with Joey (possessed by Marik) involved the loser being dragged down into the water.

** Bastion's night with Taniya is ''way'' more ambiguous in the original. Nothing's more kid-friendly than the distant screams of a possibly-brainwashed teenaged CelibateHero being raped by an ActionGirl.
** Don't forget the time Jaden called Hassleberry "Dingleberry" during their first duel.
** To remove references of hermaphroditism, Yubel was changed to purely female in the dub, except: 1) "Her" left leg is still definitively male. 2) "Her" past life is very obviously voiced by a man. So in attempting to remove filthy unsightly material, they [[DubText turned Yubel into a Transexual]]. [[GagDub Wow]].

--->"Rah rah ree, kick 'em in the knee! Rah rah rut, kick 'em in the [[SubvertedRhymeEveryOccasion other knee]]!"
*** It's been done before, and even ''that'' one would probably be acceptable if the rhyme wasn't subverted.
** Nothing from Duel Monsters Spirit Day, yet? Syrus suggested that Alexis dress up as Dark Magician Girl...but...she had a different idea. Then, it cuts to a close-up of boobs, then a butt...only to reveal that [[FanDisservice Dorothy is wearing the Dark Magician Girl costume!]]
