* Suzu Houjou (née Urano) was a young woman who was born in Hiroshima and an excellent artist. One day, she was told by her grandmother that she will marry a man who fell in love with her, who turns out to be the boy she had saved during their childhood whom she never remembered. After marrying him, she moved to Kure and became a housewife in his household. However, the war makes her life much more worse, being forced to endure a lot of hardships to survive on her own and the war gave her depression, especially after she losss her right hand and blames herself for being unable to save her niece-in-law. She originally wanted to go back on her hometown, however, a snap back to reality eventually made her realize how much she wanted to stay in her new home. After the bombing of Hiroshima, she got better and she and her husband adopted an orphan girl.

* Despite having easy access to weapons for the Outlaw Star and proficient with traditional firearms, Gene has been trying to find [[DepletedPhlebotinumShells Caster Shells]] to use with his [[{{Magitek}} special]] [[HandCannon Caster Gun]]. Marcus (his go-to guy for regular ammo and guns) claims he has a few but they each cost roughly the equivalent of the Maximum Security items in the Treasures Vault, so it was not practical. However, realizing the presence of a Housee of Magic and many Good-aligned skillful wizards, he decided to go and make his own Caster Shells. As such, he went to find out about the history and manufacturing of them in the House of Knowledge where Nico Robin and the Librarian immediately helped find him the necessary references (after Gene had to apologize profusely after getting the Librarian mad for accidentally calling him a monkey). Gene was later seen talking with both Vulcan and Negi Springfield about helping him make home-made Caster Shells. He has also gone over to talk to various magicians for their raw power, skill and advice on their creation. Many wonder what could arise from the creation of such unique ammunition.

* Far away in New Zealand lived a Māori boy known as Ricky Backer, Ricky had been abandoned by his birth mother and due to his problematic behavior stemming from a dream of becoming a gangster when he grows up got shuffled around foster homes a lot. His luck seemed to get better when he was adopted by the middle-aged couple of Bela and her gruff husband, Hec, with Bela proving a loving, wonderful mother figure. Sadly, Bela died suddenly and left him only with Hec. Distraught, Ricky ran away from home but in his attempts to fake his death so as to not be sought out by the authorities ended up burning part of Hec's house while Hec went looking for him. After some hectic shenanigans that ended up making Hec look like a criminal that had taken him hostage, Ricky found a permanent home with a nice family he met on his journey while Hec was cleared of charges but left to live at a retirement home due to his house burning down, regardless their time together in adventures allowed them to finally become friends and the two set off in a new adventure to find the supposedly-extinct Huia bird, which they had found during their travels.
* Following their quest for the Huia, the duo were ascended in a smoothly performed process, while at it they've had some fun exploring the vast planes of the Pantheon, now with much more preparation for the adventures they could face. Ricky has also taken to finding other kids to be friends with as well as people with who he could share his experiences regarding his orphaned status with.
* One of the first allies Ricky made was Wade Wilson AKA Deadpool, a strangely friendly yet bloodthirsty mercenary, who due to his fourth-wall breaking capabilities, recognized Ricky's appearance from a kid he befriended, Russell, not to mention the similar attitude and self-esteem issues Ricky faced in his life like Russell. While Hec has made sure Wade does not influences Ricky too much, fearing that the mercenary's worst traits will be copied by his honorary nephew, but Ricky has said to him that that isn't happening with Deadpool himself trolling Hec as well on that issue.
* Ricky's experiences in his orphanage and the entirety of his time as an orphan has left him somewhat averse to orphanages in general, however he's started to open up to the good ones thanks to his recent adoption by a nice family; on the flip-side bad orphanages or bad people in them have earned his hatred for the damage they cause to children that were once like him, a notable example was Granny Goodness, known for running an orphanage in Apokolips that mistreats and induces children into Darkseid's cause; all of which gave Ricky and Hec a low view of the old woman.
* They both have taken to looking for the extinct Huia, giving them some interest in the eyes of conservationists such as David Attenborough. Attenborought invited the duo over to discuss and review their footage and sighting of the huia seeing it as a possible groundbreaking discovery and milestone for ecologists, both were happy to accept the offer and subsequently befriended David.
* Hec made connections with people who have been framed of crimes they did not commit and had to pay the price for that with jail or worse. One of these people was Sirius Black, who had to endure the brunt of being accused for several murders of which his once-friend Peter Pettigrew was responsible and wouldn't be acquitted legally until long after he died. Hec feels bad to hear about how badly he got framed for crimes and how long Sirius spent paying for them despite his innocence, while Sirius was at least happy Hec got bailed out of his troubles quicker than he was himself.
* The Wright Anything Agency are known for their cases of clearing the names of those wrongfully affected by the justice system, as such they were a company Hec liked to keep track of. They were a bit bewildered by just how Hec ended up in legal trouble due to the misunderstandings caused by Ricky's poor wording but are at least glad that he's no longer involved in that mess.
* Captain Mako is a supervillain who grew up in an orphanage of rather bad caring methods and who ended up turning into a villain due to the abuse and mockery he faced in his time there, Ricky greatly pitied him for it, as despite knowing that he's a deranged villain with many crimes under his belt, he still can't help but empathize with his pains of being mistreated at an orphanage given how miserable he himself was in his own orphanage and the issue of never quite landing a good foster home until much later.
* Lady Tremaine is someone that both Ricky and Hec grew to loathe as she had abused her step-daughter, Cinderella, to murderous extents at time even. She had little to say about the duo, considering them insignificant due to not being on her same social class... Or at least the one she used to be in. For what it's worth, at least Ricky has bonded with Cinderella over the feeling of being let down by a parent that adopted them.
* Dennis the Menace is a young boy known for being a big troublemaker, as such he could relate to the brattier side of Ricky, though since he has many standards he was quite glad that didn't go any further than it involving minor arson and destruction of property through accidents. Hec finds himself a bit annoyed by the kid but otherwise doesn't minds his friendship with Ricky.
* Ricky made a connection with fellow orphaned-now-HappilyAdopted boy Lewis Anthonio. Lewis suffered a lot due to being abandoned by his mother at a young age in the orphanage and never quite getting to fit in any foster house due to his eccentricities, not unlike Ricky's rowdy behavior making his desire to find a foster family rather hard to achieve up until he found the right one. Lewis was intrigued by Ricky's adventures as much as Ricky was intrigued by Lewis' own time-travelling adventure.

His luck seemed to get better when he was adopted by the middle-aged couple of Bela and her gruff husband, Hec, with Bela proving a loving, wonderful mother figure. Sadly, Bela died suddenly and left him only with Hec. Distraught, Ricky ran away from home but in his attempts to fake his death so as to not be sought out by the authorities ended up burning part of Hec's house while Hec went looking for him. After some hectic shenanigans that ended up making Hec look like a criminal that had taken him hostage, Ricky found a permanent home with a nice family he met on his journey while Hec was cleared of charges but left to live at a retirement home due to his house burning down, regardless their time together in adventures allowed them to finally become friends and the two set off in a new adventure to find the supposedly-extinct Huia bird, which they had found during their travels.
* Following their quest for the Huia, the duo were ascended in a smoothly performed process, while at it they've had some fun exploring the vast planes of the Pantheon, now with much more preparation for the adventures they could face. Ricky has also taken to finding other kids to be friends with as well as people with who he could share his experiences regarding his orphaned status with.
* One of the first allies Ricky made was Wade Wilson AKA Deadpool, a strangely friendly yet bloodthirsty mercenary, who due to his fourth-wall breaking capabilities, recognized Ricky's appearance from a kid he befriended, Russell, not to mention the similar attitude and self-esteem issues Ricky faced in his life like Russell. While Hec has made sure Wade does not influences Ricky too much, fearing that the mercenary's worst traits will be copied by his honorary nephew, but Ricky has said to him that that isn't happening with Deadpool himself trolling Hec as well on that issue.
* Ricky's experiences in his orphanage and the entirety of his time as an orphan has left him somewhat averse to orphanages in general, however he's started to open up to the good ones thanks to his recent adoption by a nice family; on the flip-side bad orphanages or bad people in them have earned his hatred for the damage they cause to children that were once like him, a notable example was Granny Goodness, known for running an orphanage in Apokolips that mistreats and induces children into Darkseid's cause; all of which gave Ricky and Hec a low view of the old woman.
* They both have taken to looking for the extinct Huia, giving them some interest in the eyes of conservationists such as David Attenborough. Attenborought invited the duo over to discuss and review their footage and sighting of the huia seeing it as a possible groundbreaking discovery and milestone for ecologists, both were happy to accept the offer and subsequently befriended David.
* Hec made connections with people who have been framed of crimes they did not commit and had to pay the price for that with jail or worse. One of these people was Sirius Black, who had to endure the brunt of being accused for several murders of which his once-friend Peter Pettigrew was responsible and wouldn't be acquitted legally until long after he died. Hec feels bad to hear about how badly he got framed for crimes and how long Sirius spent paying for them despite his innocence, while Sirius was at least happy Hec got bailed out of his troubles quicker than he was himself.
* The Wright Anything Agency are known for their cases of clearing the names of those wrongfully affected by the justice system, as such they were a company Hec liked to keep track of. They were a bit bewildered by just how Hec ended up in legal trouble due to the misunderstandings caused by Ricky's poor wording but are at least glad that he's no longer involved in that mess.
* Captain Mako is a supervillain who grew up in an orphanage of rather bad caring methods and who ended up turning into a villain due to the abuse and mockery he faced in his time there, Ricky greatly pitied him for it, as despite knowing that he's a deranged villain with many crimes under his belt, he still can't help but empathize with his pains of being mistreated at an orphanage given how miserable he himself was in his own orphanage and the issue of never quite landing a good foster home until much later.
* Lady Tremaine is someone that both Ricky and Hec grew to loathe as she had abused her step-daughter, Cinderella, to murderous extents at time even. She had little to say about the duo, considering them insignificant due to not being on her same social class... Or at least the one she used to be in. For what it's worth, at least Ricky has bonded with Cinderella over the feeling of being let down by a parent that adopted them.
* Dennis the Menace is a young boy known for being a big troublemaker, as such he could relate to the brattier side of Ricky, though since he has many standards he was quite glad that didn't go any further than it involving minor arson and destruction of property through accidents. Hec finds himself a bit annoyed by the kid but otherwise doesn't minds his friendship with Ricky.
* Ricky made a connection with fellow orphaned-now-HappilyAdopted boy Lewis Anthonio. Lewis suffered a lot due to being abandoned by his mother at a young age in the orphanage and never quite getting to fit in any foster house due to his eccentricities, not unlike Ricky's rowdy behavior making his desire to find a foster family rather hard to achieve up until he found the right one. Lewis was intrigued by Ricky's adventures as much as Ricky was intrigued by Lewis' own time-travelling adventure.
