* Emerging out of the enigmatic Void Century from an alliance of 20 kingdoms, for 800 years the World Government has been just that; a world-spanning government dedicated to maintaining justice and order. That said, the heads of the government known as the Five Elders or Gorosei are dedicated mostly to preserving their status quo. Engimatic yet with undeniable authority, they oppose pirates like the Straw Hats who might try to take down their government, and those who might expose the World Government's secrets like the events of the Void Century.
* The Five Elders were skeptical of entering the Trope Pantheon at first, but upon learning that the Straw Hats have gotten powerful allies there and there are many who's rebellious spirit is a threat to their regime, they felt it was time for action. They quickly pledged their allegiance to YHVH and the GUAL, finding an instant rapport to the conformity, order and stability that the alliance promises. The God of Law was very happy to see them under His wing.
* Claim to be LawfulNeutral, however their actions say otherwise. They default to TreacheryCoverUp when something potentially embarrassing happens on their watch, rewrite history [[WrittenByTheWinners to be favorable]] and will resort to ''genocide'' to eliminate the chance someone exposing seriously damning truths like the events of the Void Century. This led them to become chummy with Light Yagami, who's ability to [[KnightTemplar enact justice]] through the Death Note would be a powerful tool for maintaining their status quo and swiftly eliminating anyone they fear.
* Sage Harpuia was repulsed by their destruction of Ohara just to cover up their past, or how they condoned the "Massacre of the Innocents" to eliminate Gol D. Roger's heir. It reminds him too much of Copy X's MoralEventHorizon. Copy X, by contrast, respects the World Government for their enforcement of justice and order, and has decided to align Neo Arcadia with the World Government. The Five Elders have agreed to this, but first hope to purge Dr Weil's influence on Copy X and get rid of him due to his past and the cataclysmic Elf Wars reminding them all too much of the Void Century. Weil himself was made an UnPerson in Neo Arcadia due to his heinous actions, [[{{Hypocrite}} not so different from the likely detail the World Government is trying to close up]]. And Neo Arcadia has a better reason to do so; they don't want anyone to ever repeat the sins of Dr Weil and the horrors of the Elf Wars.
* Their hypocrisy about justice is well on display as they permit [[AristocratsAreEvil the World Nobles]] to be above the law. Amazingly, ''[[Pantheon/EarthAndRock Akainu]]'' [[EvenEvilHasStandards has called out their appeasement with the Nobles and obsession with maintaining their image]]. Senator Armstrong was revolted by this as well, and wants to bring down the World Government so a new and better society can emerge. The Five Elders consider him a major ideological threat for this.
* General rebels on their hit list they fear destroying their status quo include V, Shogo Makishima and Lelouch Vi Britannia. They hate Jack Sparrow for reminding them of the pirates causing their organization trouble, and Edward Teach for his troubling acts as Blackbeard. Because Rorschach's uncompromising views would have him expose the truth regardless of the societal consequence. And the Five Elders undeniably hate Lucifer and the GUAC for what they stand for and how their government is the very thing Lucifer loathes and hopes to bring down.
* Researching the ancient ponegylphs is absolutely forbidden in order to prevent the secrets of the Void Century from being exposed. Their argument for why is to prevent weapons of mass destruction from being unveiled. In their hopes of containing secrets they have made a difficult peace agreement with the SCP Foundation to help hide away such damning secrets while also helping to contain anomalies. Neither side trusts each other ''at all'', but for now it's better than antagonizing one another.
* They have found themselves on the hit list of Ragna, Jim Raynor and the entire Order of Assassins for suspecting (and being absolutely right) what they’re doing is not only wrong, but having a dark secret that they absolutely refuse to let anyone know. The Five Elders take the most offense to the Assassins, given they often identify with the methods of their arch-enemy of the Templar order. Scar hates them for their willingness to commit genocide, given he is a victim of such an atrocious act.
* The Five Elders have a poor relationship with the House of Analysis and Records due to their fear of them deciphering the ponegylphs, but at least know it's more trouble than it's worth to outright antagonize them. They have ended up antagonizing Indiana Jones because his skill at archaeology might lead him to decipher the Void Century, and Lois Lane given she's looking for the big scoop and would try to seek information about it. This has hurt their chances of aligning with the Regime version of Superman, who otherwise is happy to help because of his belief in conformity and forceful justice needed to save mankind.
* They found much in common with the Sibyl System's desire for control and obedience. Their alliance with the latter has put them up against the Phantom Thieves, who wish to cure the fundamentally corrupt yet enormously powerful nature of the World Government, particularly parasites such as the World Nobles. This frustrates the Five Elders, but they're hoping it remains just frustration.
* [[spoiler:They are in fact subordinate to the ''true'' head of the World Government, Imu. As Imu's very existence betrays the utter hypocrisy of what they supposedly stand for, it is an absolute secret that they must not let anyone know or else the fall of the World Government will be a ForegoneConclusion. Not even their most trusted allies in the pantheon can know of Imu's existence. They recognize some similarities to [[Pantheon/{{Otherness}} Father of the Homunculus]] and how he organized the Amestrian government to act as the ShadowDictator, but do not wish to talk anymore about it lest people get suspicious.]]

Gravesfield, he set out to accomplish two things. Creating a better version of his brother by making Grimwalker clones of him and raising them to Philip's standard, and [[FinalSolution slaughtering the inhabitants of the enigmatic Void Century Boiling Isles]] as [[DisproportionateRetribution revenge]] for "tainting" his brother and to "[[ObliviouslyEvil save Humanity from evil]]". His plan was set in motion by Philip seeking out a nigh-omnipotent RealityWarper named The Collector, and tricking them into providing him a Draining Spell to be used on all of the Witches and Demons in the Isles. To prepare the Isles for his genocide, Philip went about creating an alternate persona of himself that would rise to power under the guise of leading the Isles to salvation: Emperor Belos. However Belos's plans would end up being undone due to the arrival of one Luz Noceda in the Boiling Isles. After foiling the Day of Unity, Philip eventually returned to the Isles, and merged with them in a final attempt to kill Luz and the rest of the Isles' people before finally being slain for good.
* Unfortunately, souls steeped in such extreme hatred have a way of sticking around. Chuck Shurley took note of Belos' extreme devotion to his fundamentalist interpretation of God, and saw in him an excellent Human lieutenant, subsequently setting into motion Belos' ascension. One fateful day, he succeeded and brought the WitchHunter into the Pantheon. Belos was all too eager to follow Chuck's directions, being more than happy to kill anyone who diverted from God's plan, even other Humans whom [[NoTrueScotsman Belos declares to be tainted]] by outside forces. Belos promptly made his presence known by putting on a kindly facade and duping a plethora of the less evil Demons in the Patheon to accept makeshift Coven Sigils that he promptly used to try and slaughter them. He very nearly succeeded, but was fortunately stopped by Bayonetta and Dante who did battle with the mad Emperor, a battle that ultimately ended with Madame Butterfly punching Belos back to his master Chuck, albeit after a long and bloody battle that left all three exhausted. The Court of the Gods took note of Chuck's new soldier and decided to accept him into the Pantheon, if only to keep an eye on him resulting in Belos ascending as the representative of [[TheWitchHunter witch hunting]], and [[HeroicWannabe those who desire to be seen as heroes]].
* The Witch Hunter found an alarming number of [[CompleteMonster kindred]] [[AbsoluteXenophobe spirits]] within the Pantheon shortly after his ascension. His bigotry, manipulative abilities, and magical power quickly attracted the attention of Johan Schmidt, the Red Skull. The Nazi supervillain greatly appreciated Philip's drive to exterminate any and all Non-Humans, especially magical ones. The Red Skull offered
an alliance of 20 kingdoms, which Belos accepted admiring Skull's talent for 800 years brainwashing his family members, being more than happy to provide his Magic to boost the World Government Red Skull's devices for the sake of slaughtering all of their enemies. Another villain from the same world quickly earned Belos' approval: the Reverend William Stryker. Much like Belos, Stryker is an extreme {{fundamentalist}} who uses his religion as a justification for his monstrous actions, and desires nothing less than the genocide of a population with supernatural powers, and show no qualms against murdering any normal Humans who get in their way, even their own family members. Stryker is more than happy to stand at Belos' side as they plot the slaughter of all the people they find to be sinful.
** HYDRA in general
has been just that; a world-spanning government dedicated to maintaining justice and order. That said, also received substantial assistance from Belos with the heads resources he has available independent of Belos' alliance with Schmidt. Belos greatly appreciated the minds in charge of HYDRA who are happy to repay him with their own high tech resources for his personal vendettas. Another fascistic murderer figure that Belos forged an allegiance with is none other than Judge Doom. Even though Belos is a Toon, Doom is willing to accept his allegiance due to Belos attempting to slaughter nearly every other Toon around, due to them frequently having Magic. Doom is also interested in Belos' Glyph Magic as an alternative means of killing Toons permanently without risking Doom himself. Johan Liebert also likes Belos, admiring how there is no limit to the brutality of the government known violence Belos commits in pursuit of his goal of genocide, as well as his skill for mentally torturing his enemies, namely Luz and Hunter. While Belos doesn't appreciate Johan's [[CardCarryingVillain embrace of his own cruelty]], he does see Liebert's talent for mentally breaking people, wondering if it could be used to truly twist a Grimwalker into the Five Elders or Gorosei mold that Belos desires.
** Belos has managed to earn some surprising, but exceptionally horrifying allies thanks to his loathing of those he sees as being unworthy of living, his devotion to establishing order, and his service of Chuck Shurley. While the Mad Kai Zamasu would normally loathe a mortal who willingly uses unholy magics, the fact that Belos does so in pursuit of the utter eradication of the Demon Realm, while also killing any other Human who stands opposed to his work in the name of God has made Zamasu [[YouAreACreditToYourRace see Belos in a similar light to how he sees Light Yagami]], as Demons
are dedicated mostly the only beings in existence that Zamasu hates ''more'' than mortals. The fact that Belos is the archenemy of Luz and Amity, both of whom represent chaotic forces of good, and the former of whom is capable of wielding the powers of the Demon Realm's God, the Titan, has made him more willing to preserving work with the Witch Hunter, if for no other reason than to kill the Wicthes. For his part, Belos has little care for Zamasu's Zero Mortals Plan, thanks to Humanity being amongst its targets, [[PragmaticVillainy but is willing to accept the Kai's might as he seeks to extinguish all life in the Demon Realm]], thanks to Belos' quest earning him some very powerful enemies.
* Philip was every bit as furious to see that Luz and Amity were in the Pantheon, as they were to see him alive once more. The couple and
their status quo. Engimatic yet friends, Luz in particular, proved to be the single biggest obstruction to Belos' plans for the [[FinalSolution genocide of the Boiling Isles]], from helping to start a rebellion and circumvent the Day of Unity, to finally defeating him in his Titan powered form after Belos killed her only for Luz to come BackFromTheDead in her own Titan Form. The couple is also the near personification of the things Philip loathes the most about the Boiling Isles, namely a romance between a Human and a Witch. Belos' own brother's love for his Witch partner was Philip's impetus to travel to the Boiling Isles in the first place, and as he was dying he ranted that [[CategoryTraitor Luz would become just as "evil" as her loved ones]]. Belos was all too willing to attempt to kill the two when they attempted to preemptively assassinate him, even showing more than a little bit of annoyance at the fact that his new Master warped the two Witches outside of his domain before either side emerged victorious. After the battle, Philip has made sure to begin crafting as many excruciating deaths for the couple as he can possibly imagine.
** Naturally, any friend of Luz and Amity is a hated enemy of the Emperor. Anne Boonchuy, Sasha Waybright, and Marcy Wu are just under Luz and Amity on Philip's to kill list. Like Luz, the Calamity Girls all became the protectors of a world filled
with undeniable authority, they oppose pirates Non-Human beings, with the trio becoming personal friends of many of the inhabitants of Amphibia, and is readying Petrification spells just for them. For their part, the three see Belos as actually being worse than their greatest foe, the Core, because Belos is just one man motivated by [[TheFundamentalist religious fanaticism]] as opposed to a MindHive. What's more, Belos is also directly responsible for Luz going through a death and resurrection, just like Anne did, in addition to Philip being capable of possessing people, just like the Straw Hats who might try Core did to take down their government, and those who might expose the World Government's secrets Marcy. The Plantar Family is almost as despised by Belos, as he sees them as being just like the events Clawthorne family that he has spent centuries holding a grudge over. Just like the Calamity Trio, the Plantars see Belos as being as bad, if not worse than the Core.
** Stanley Pines is rumored to be the Ex-Husband of Eda Clawthorne, one of Belos' most hated enemies. He was utterly appalled at the possibility that another Clawthorne had married a Human, no matter how brief said marriage was. Additionally, the entire Pines Family are wholly supportive of paranormal beings despite their negative experiences with the Supernatural. When they found out just how despicable Belos was from Luz and Amity, the entire Pines Family immediately declared him to be a monster. Like with Luz, Belos chalks up their sympathy for Non-Human beings to be a result
of the Void Century.
influence of the Supernatural all around them, but even so considers them a lost cause in need of the "mercy" of death. As a result of his Demonic nature, Belos despises the Pines' archenemy Bill Cipher just as much. Belos sees Bill as being like the Collector, only fully aware of what he's doing and actively threatening Humanity. Bill considers Belos to be painfully boring, and had fun shattering Belos' body just like the Collector did, even if it doesn't actually kill Belos, and allowed him to assume his Titan Form in order to fend him off.
* The Five Elders There is absolutely nothing Belos despises more than Witches and the concept of Witchcraft. Due to his [[TheFundamentalist Puritanical upbringing]], Belos sees Witchcraft as the ultimate evil in existence, an evil that he murdered his own Brother over, and devoured the souls of ''thousands'' of innocent Palismen in order to extend his life so he could eradicate it. Learning that Luz and Amity were skeptical of entering in the Trope Pantheon at first, but upon had utterly enraged Belos, and learning of how many other Witch deities there were alongside them did not improve his mode even slightly. Other than Lumity, the Witch Belos loathes the most is Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch. Wanda's RealityWarper abilities make her the single most dangerous Witch in the entire Pantheon, and Belos has vowed to either turn her to stone... or possess her and attempt to use her Chaos Magic to kill off all Witches in existence. For her part, Wanda sees Belos as simply being the Red Skull with Magic and has vowed that the Straw Hats have gotten if he ever tried anything, she will immediately erase him from existence. The two had a brief skirmish where they tested each other's powers with both being confident their full might or most powerful allies there form is capable of killing the other.
** Belos sees villainous Witches as being easy justification for all of his monstrous deeds,
and there while he despises them, he does feel satisfaction at the knowledge of the existence of people like Lord Voldemort and Maleficent. Voldemort's goals are many who's extremely similar to Belos, but the targets of Voldemort's loathing are the exact reverse of the targets of Belos. For his part, Belos is fairly unconcerned with Voldemort himself due to being the much stronger magic user and his undead nature protecting him from the Killing Curse. Maleficent meanwhile is the epidemy of the WickedWitch archetype. The Witch Hunter was more than happy to use her as target practice for his own magical attacks and present himself as a trustworthy hero when he first ascended.
** Heroic Witches are some of Belos' foremost foes. Akko Kagari, Diana Cavendish, and Chariot du Nord were some of the first people that Belos managed to dupe into getting his makeshift Coven sigils and were nearly killed by them. Belos singled them out specifically due to how much the three remind him of Luz, Amity, and Eda respectively. The Luna Nova Witches responded by informing Belos' archenemies of his presence as they went to get their sigils removed. Bayonetta was champing at the bit to get another chance to punch Belos with all her strength, and to do so, she asked for an assist from Father Balder. Belos was appalled that Balder would side with Witches given his holy nature, and his revulsion turned to fury when he found out that Balder was Bayonetta's actual father. Balder considers Belos to be the same kind of monster that murdered his wife, and was happy to help give Belos a violent pummeling.
* Belos has the incredibly dubious distinction of being the only deity to be banned from the Hall of Family and Relatives to have [[StraightEdgeEvil absolutely no sex crimes to his name]]. He achieved this through his murder of the Grimwalker Clones he made of Caleb. By the time of his death, Belos had killed his own brother '''hundreds of times over''', utterly horrifying every deity in the Hall. This wanton slaughter of clones also earned the utter disgust of every single Clone deity in the Pantheon, especially the likes of Ben Reily, Kaine Parker, and Niko Kanna. The former two were merely two of dozens of clones of Peter Parker, and were disgusted at Belos' dismissal of the lives of the Grimwalkers. Niko Kanna understands the horror of being an ExpendableClone and is repulsed that Belos would make hundreds of them purely so he can have an idealized version of the brother he himself murdered.
** The two Clones who despise Belos the most however, are Xion and Conner Kent, aka Superboy. Xion was purpose built to be nothing more than a duplicate of Sora so Organization XIII could gain control of the Keyblade while also serving as a vessel of Master Xehanort. Upon learning of her, Belos attempted to possess her as he did with the last surviving Grimwalker, Hunter. Xion managed to expel Belos from her body and then took him on with her Keyblade. She held him off long enough for Superboy to come to her aid. Superboy had already earned Belos' loathing for being a
rebellious spirit is a threat to their regime, they felt it clone, just as the Grimwalkers were, on top of him being part Kryptonian. This loathing was time for action. They quickly pledged their allegiance only enflamed when Superboy managed to YHVH break Belos' concentration and save Xion from petrification. Before Belos could exploit Superboy's Magic Vulnerability, Xion entered one of her final forms and managed to force the Witch Hunter to withdraw.
** Belos' despicable slaughter of his own brother
and the GUAL, finding an instant rapport to Grimwalkers, whom he raised as his nephews until he murdered them, has earned him the conformity, order and stability that the alliance promises. The God vitriol of Law was very happy to see them under His wing.
Amazingly, ''[[Pantheon/EarthAndRock Akainu]]''
[[EvenEvilHasStandards has called out their appeasement other villains in addition to heroes]]. Max Eisenhardt, better known as Magneto, already loathed Belos for his bigotry and his alliance with the Nobles Red Skull and obsession with maintaining their image]]. Senator Armstrong was revolted by this as well, and wants to bring down the World Government so a new and better society can emerge. The Five Elders consider Reverend Stryker. However when he found out about Belos' slaughter of his family, Magneto declared him a major ideological threat for this.
* General rebels on their hit list they fear destroying their status quo include V, Shogo Makishima and Lelouch Vi Britannia. They hate Jack Sparrow for reminding them
to be in dire need of the pirates causing their organization trouble, and Edward Teach death, especially since unlike Belos, Magneto does have protective affection for his troubling acts on/off daughter Wanda. Another villain that carries hatred for Belos due to loathing abusive parental figures is none other than DIO. DIO, as Blackbeard. Because Rorschach's uncompromising views would monstrous as he is, does have him expose the truth regardless some degree of the societal consequence. And the Five Elders undeniably hate Lucifer and the GUAC affection for what they stand for and how their government is the very thing Lucifer loathes and hopes his son Giorno whenever he interacts with Giorno, in sharp contrast to bring down.
* Researching the ancient ponegylphs is absolutely forbidden
Belos. The Vampire Stand User promptly punched a hole straight through Belos' body, though Belos was able to use a large Light Glyph to drive DIO away in order to prevent heal his wound.
* It's nearly impossible to overstate
the secrets sheer hatred and vitriol that Belos holds in his heart for Demons and Witches. This is a man who willingly turned himself into an [[UndeadAbomination eldritch lich]] just so he could extend his life long enough to ensure he could slaughter the residents of the Void Century Boiling Isles, [[GloryHound as well as receive acclaim for doing so]]. Upon finding out how many Demons and Magical entities there are in the Pantheon, Belos was fuming. Aside from Bill, the demonic deity he loathes the most is none other than Lucifer himself. Lucifer has made several attempts to bring Humans under his control, has enacted plots that would result in anarchistic HellOnEarth, and is just a living embodiment of chaos, something that [[ControlFreak Belos]] is utterly repulsed by.
** Just because Lucifer is the demon that Belos loathes the most in the whole Pantheon, he is still more than willing to extend his vitriol to any other demonic entity or those who use demonic magics. One such monster that Belos regularly buts heads with is Toffee of Septarsis. Belos was initially willing to offer an alliance to Toffee upon hearing about how he loathed Magic. That thought died the instant Belos learned that Toffee wasn't actually Human, and was in fact the [[TheManInFrontOfTheMan de facto leader]] of a faction of rebellious Monsters/Demons. While the Witch Hunter would normally be willing to just let Toffee destroy magic, he can't stand the thought of Toffee sparing Monsters from the planned slaughter.
** Dante Sparda and Belos already despised each other, Dante for Belos' monstrous actions, and Belos for Dante disrupting his Draining Spell attempt in the Pantheon. Learning all the details of Dante's demonic heritage just disgusted Belos even more. Another demonic "[[NominalHero hero]]" whom Belos loathes is Alucard of the Hellsing Organization. Alucard's chaotic and eldritch nature absolute disgusts the Witch Hunter, and he has vowed to slay the Vampire Lord with his Magic. Alucard loathes Belos for
being exposed. Their argument a Human who willingly discarded his own mortality and converted himself into an abomination just for why is the sake of massacring an innocent population. The two did battle and though Alucard was unable to prevent weapons defeat Belos, he did touch his nerves by saying that Belos was more of mass destruction from being unveiled. In a monster than he was.
** On the Day of Unity, Belos was distracted by Luz and Amity's friend group including them,
their hopes friends Willow, and Gus, and the renegade Grimwalker Hunter. As a result of containing secrets the actions of the so called "Hexsquad", Belos was nearly killed by the Collector, and the Draining Spell was disrupted. When he learned of another group of teenagers with Magic and Demonics known as The Phantom Thieves, he was less than pleased. The Phantom Thieves heard how he was a monster and dove into his Palace before Luz and Amity could inform them of how horrific a trip inside [[Recap/TheOwlHouseS2E16HollowMind Belos' Mind]] can be. While the Thieves managed to escape safely, they have were notably shaken by the experience of just how monstrous Belos really was, and they promptly declared Belos to be their foremost target to be taken down.
* Belos holds nothing but the utmost respect for the Imperium of Man. The Imperium is effectively his ideal manifestation of Humanity, a [[AbsoluteXenophobe holy crusade against any and all other races, especially those with substantial magic]]. He was almost giddy at the thought of standing alongside the forces of the Imperium in slaughtering the other races of the galaxy. In particular, he desires to stand alongside or possibly lead the Space Marines in their own Witch Hunting efforts against the Dark Elves, happily comparing the Imperium's fascist crusade of genocide for the sake of Humanity to his own. For their part, many figures in the Imperium greatly appreciate Belos' attitude and zeal for killing off anything that isn't Human and his extreme opposition to anything chaotic... but they dislike how Belos is willing to use the very Magic he despises, and warp himself into a [[TechnicallyLivingZombie lich]] in order to butcher the Demon Realm, especially since he
made a difficult peace agreement deal with the SCP Foundation Collector, even if Belos was the one manipulating the Child of the Stars.
** Despite revealing himself
to help hide away such damning secrets while also helping be a bigoted monster with his attempt to contain anomalies. Neither side trusts each other ''at all'', but slaughter the Witches and Demons of the Pantheon, and making no effort to pretend he is anything else, he is still a very intelligent manipulator, namely due to his talent for now it's better than antagonizing one another.
* They have found themselves on
telling people what they want to hear and lowering suspicion for himself. When Belos learned of Lex Luthor, and his own ability to manipulate people and get the hit list sympathy of Ragna, Jim Raynor and the entire Order populace, as well as Lex's hatred of Assassins for suspecting (and entities he sees as being absolutely right) what they’re doing is not only wrong, but having a dark secret that they absolutely refuse threat to let anyone know. The Five Elders take Humanity, he felt substantial respect for the most offense business man, even if he felt Lex was too focused on amassing his own power than using it to "Save Humanity" to consider Lex a true ally.
** Another Human opposed to Aliens whom Belos carries tremendous respect for is
the Assassins, given they often identify Illusive Man. Belos sees the Illusive Man's efforts to advance Humanity through his resources in Cerberus as being a truly noble goal, and happily agrees with the methods of their arch-enemy Illusive Man's opposition to the other races of the Templar order. Scar hates them for their willingness Citadel. When he found how the Illusive Man was toying with Reaper tech that ultimately got him indoctrinated, it made him lose points in Belos' eyes but the Witch Hunter still approves of him regardless.
** Even so, Belos doesn't agree with ''all'' genocidal Humans. Belos sees Eren Yeager as a devil worse than Witches since he led an extermination of humanity outside of Paradis Islands, wholeheartedly agreeing with the views of humanity in that world that Eldians are devils that should be exterminated. Eren tells him that he has room to stand on, since he also sacrificed his humanity
to commit genocide, given and notes that while he did what he felt was necessary to protect his people, Belos committed genocide purely for the sake of satisfying his own bigotry, and [[GloryHound desire for acclaim by other Humans]], with him being willing to kill other Humans who view him as being monstrous. Belos merely replied that you "[[ObliviousToTheirOwnDescription can't reason with crazy]]".
* Upon discovering that Caleb had journeyed to the Boiling Isles to be with his newfound love Evelyn, Philip leaped into the Portal between the Human Realm and the Demon Realm, hoping to "save" Caleb. After killing Caleb, he opted to remain in the Boiling Isles in the hopes of massacring its inhabitants, willingly [[TrappedInAnotherWorld stranding himself there]] all so he could finish what he started. When he heard of a slew of other deities in the Pantheon who had also been "Isekai'd", who ''weren't'' Luz, Amity, Anne, Sasha, or Marcy, Belos began looking into them, in hopes of finding allies for his quest. Much to his irritation, he found that they universally possessed Magic, and willingly fraternized with Magical Beings. The two he came to hate the most were Ainz Ooal Gown, and Tanya von Degurechaff. Like Belos, both of them ended up in another world where they either partook in or started a brutal fascist dictatorship. ''Unlike'' Belos, both Ainz and Tanya embraced the local Magics. Ainz especially earned Belos' hate for his numerous actions against Humanity as the leader of Nazarick, with Belos vowing to turn the Lich into either a statue or a pile of ash. Tanya dislikes Belos because she hates "Being X" and sees Belos' devout Fundamentalism as foolhardy idiocy.
* Given Philip's Puritanical upbringing, many in the Pantheon were quick to assume that he carried all of the prejudices that came with being a [[NewEnglandPuritan 17th century Puritan from Connecticut]], a belief that was supported by Belos' worship of Chuck Shurley, and his alliance with the Red Skull, on top of his plan to kill all Witches and Demons. Philip made no attempt to disprove this and only added fuel to the fire with his condescension towards Judge Frollo. Belos reacted with absolute revulsion upon discovering Frollo's [[SexIsEvil lust for Esmeralda]], condemning Frollo for his desire towards a sinful Witch like her, while voicing that he isn't surprised that a Catholic would be so quick to fall to corruption. Many deities also noted that the Boiling Isles is an extremely [[NonHeteronormativeSociety inclusive and Queer friendly society]], and were quick to label him as a homophobe. Belos merely stated that
he is a victim naturally opposed to deviancy and sin. As such, few were surprised when Belos attempted to murder Nanoha and Fate, ostensibly for them being Witches. The couple were quick to fight back, but because of the [[TheParalyzer nature of their magic]] requiring them to get in close to try and physically harm him, the two settled for merely stunning him long enough to fall back and avoid being turned to stone, or otherwise severely harmed, much to Belos' irritation.
* While Belos set up his fascist dictatorship in order to prepare the Boiling Isles for his genocide attempt with the Draining Spell, he did still put effort into maintaining said dictatorship in order to dupe the inhabitants into thinking that he ran their society with their best interests in mind, when in reality he was going to
such lengths for the sake of "saving Humanity from evil". As such, Belos quite likes authoritarian figures who believe themselves to be doing good, or they seek to harm Non-Human beings. Lord Vyce is one such deity that Belos approves of, wholly agreeing with Vyce's extremely brutal despotism for the sake of attempting to stop the Entity.
** Lord Farquaad caught Belos' attention for his attempt to expel all fairy tale beings from his personal Fiefdom of Dulac, in order to create
an atrocious act.
orderly ethnostate populated only by Humans. While Belos thinks he should simply kill the Ogre transformed Princess Fiona, and doesn't care about Farquaad's personal insecurities, he is willing to look past those traits. Handsome Jack is another fellow authoritarian that Belos approves of due to his [[KnightTemplar similar mentality]], and because Belos couldn't care less if a bunch of Pandorians go extinct.
** Light Yagami and Belos get along fairly well, much to the alarm of many of Belos' enemies. While Belos dislikes Light's perception of himself as the God of the New World, he doesn't mind Light's efforts to get rid of criminal figures, especially since Light is willing to use the Death Note to kill of the people whom Belos sees as being threats to Humanity, including Humans who stood against him. That said, Belos is prepared to kill Light if he should get too big for his britches and take the Death Note for himself.
** That said, not all authoritarians are appreciated by Belos. Father has earned the Witch Hunter's animosity thanks to his methods being so similar to Belos' but instead of "protecting Humanity", Father does what he does for the sake of becoming a God and putting himself above all other beings, and looks down upon Humanity in general. Another figure with the power of an authoritarian dictator that Belos stands opposed to is Embryo. While Belos initially thought that he and Embryo would get along thanks to Embryo's ability to control any Mages, the Witch Hunter found himself strongly opposed to Embryo's {{Omnicidal Mania|c}}, in addition to his lust for Ange, which Belos views as being utterly sinful.
* If you are a Human who's goal is the murder of non-Human entities, especially common fantasy races such as Orcs, Trolls, or ''especially'' Witches and Demons, Belos will more than likely approve of you. One such Xenophobic deity that Belos found kinship with was Sally Whitemane of the Scarlet Crusade. Though Whitemane is a follower of the Light, Belos sees Whitemane's extremist interpretation of her faith as being close enough to his own Puritanical Protestantism that it makes little difference. Either way, the Witch Hunter strongly approved of Whitemane's zero tolerance policy regarding the Undead Scourge, and whole heartedly agrees that the various non-Human races of the Alliance and the Horde are deserving of death, though in Whitemane's case, it's due to her belief that non-Humans carry the Scourge's taint as opposed to Belos wishing death on them simply [[AbsoluteXenophobe on principle]].
** Conversely, Belos has a strong distaste for deities such as Jack Horner. While Jack also desires the death of Magical beings, in his case, it's because he wants their Magic all for himself so he can become a God and rule over all others with an iron fist. Belos scoffs at Jack's greed, baffled why he wouldn't just kill them for its own sake, to which Jack responds by noting how Belos did nearly the same thing, even if it was for different reasons, though Belos brushes him off.
The Five Elders have Witch Hunter isn't particularly worried about getting on Jack's nerves as he knows that he is substantially more dangerous without any power boosts than Jack, and was happy to educate Jack on this by smacking him around with his Magic.
** Belos has
a poor much better relationship with deities such as B.B. Hood, and Archibald Snatcher. In Hood's case, he respects the House merciless bloodlust she holds in her heart in regards to killing off monsters, with the Emperor voicing his willingness to employ her services to kill off monsters that get on his nerves, or bring them in alive so Belos can experiment on them in the hopes of Analysis and Records finding new ways of slaughtering them en mass. In Snatcher's case, Belos fully respects his desire to advance his place in society by killing off as many Trolls as he can, not unlike how Belos is planning the eradication of all life on the Boiling Isles. Snatcher is happy to support Belos due to their fear Belos being a direct subordinate of them deciphering Chuck Shurley, with Snatcher hoping that the ponegylphs, Witch Hunter will put in a good word to his Master, in addition for Belos sharing his hatred of non-Humans.
* When Philip learned of the Psychic Beast, Fecto Forgo, he was utterly appalled. Forgo was initially a being known as Fecto Elfilis, who entertained itself by invading and destroying worlds across all realities. Elfilis was stopped when it was captured by the inhabitants of the "New World"... [[AmbiguousSituation who are implied to be an alternate universe version of Humanity]], so when Belos learned of this, he was more than happy to hear that the Beast had been subjugated for attacking Earth. Forgo initially thought that Belos would make for a strong ally against its enemies Anne, Sasha, and Marcy, along with Luz, and Amity, and was deeply puzzled when Philip summarily rejected the idea, labeling Forgo a monster that needs death, and living proof that his planned genocide of Non-Humans is just. The Witch Hunter hasn't directly clashed with Forgo yet, [[LetsYouAndHimFight
but at least know he doesn't attempt to intervene when his own nemesis' in Lumity do]].
* Make no mistake, if there's one thing that Belos despises almost as much as he despises witches and demons,
it's Humans that either sympathize with, or actively partake in superpowered endavours. When he learned of Superheroes from the Red Skull and Lex Luthor, Belos was sickened. While Belos was already allied with HYDRA and working against superheroic groups, he found himself searching for more trouble fellow Humans who didn't start with any powers who held similar beliefs. Much to Belos' delight, he soon crossed paths with Buddy Pine aka Syndrome. When Syndrome first heard of Belos he sneered at the presence of yet another "Super"... until he discovered Belos' past as Philip Wittebane, and his goal to rid existence of all Witches and Demons. Upon learning this, and especially upon learning that Belos shared his utter contempt for Supers, Syndrome was happy to provide his technology to Belos so they could be upgraded with Magic. Belos himself was more than it's worth happy to outright antagonize them. They have ended up antagonizing Indiana Jones because do so, and equally happily aided Syndrome in his skill battles with the Parr family, much to the latter's horror.
** Due to how representative the two are for all the things about Superheroes that Belos hates, the Witch Hunter didn't waste any time expressing his desire to kill the likes of Clark Kent aka Superman, and Steve Rogers aka Captain America. As a Kryptonian, Clark was always going to earn Belos' contempt, with the fact that he leads an extremely diverse collage of heroes from all backgrounds, many of whom are Magical or Alien in nature only compounding matters. Steve is the sworn nemesis of the Red Skull and immediately voiced his utter disgust with the Witch Hunter before engaging Belos in battle. While Belos' exceptionally powerful Magic is more than capable of competing with both Heroes, he is currently researching a way to allow his Titan Form to leave his Temple so he can eradicate them for good.
** Belos initially thought that the Doom Slayer would make for an outstanding ally. Like Belos, the Doom Slayer is the [[Main/{{Determinator}} unshakeably determined]] bane of the Demonic Legions of Hell. Like Belos, the Doom Slayer will happily kill off almost any Demon he comes across. However, ''unlike Belos'', the Doom Slayer actually has morality and a conscience. While he is more than happy to slay as many Demons as he can, the Doom Slayer isn't a bigot per se, as he won't go out of his way to kill off heroic Demons, and will even accept their aid in fighting evil Demons, even if he isn't terribly happy about it. Additionally, the Doom Slayer loathes angelic beings due to his experiences with the Makyrs. When he learned of Belos, the Doom Slayer promptly aimed all of his weapons
at archaeology might lead the Witch Hunter, much to the latter's anger.
* Because of Belos perceiving Caleb, and later his archnemesis Luz standing against
him as traitors to decipher Humanity, he also loathes people who do similar things, both percieved traitors such as the Void Century, Interspecies Reviewers amongst many others, and Lois Lane given she's actual traitors such as Griffith, and Ragyo Kiryuin. Griffith and Ragyo both earned Belos' disgust by endangering all of Humanity with [[TranshumanTreachery their betrayal]] purely for the sake of their own power. The Witch Hunter voiced with contempt that he wasn't surprised that molestors like them turned on Humanity. This wasn't a redeeming moment however as he declared them to be nearly as vile... as Luz for stopping his crusade and falling in love with Amity. Likewise, he also spat upon the Interspecies Reviewers engaging in wholly consensual sex with the prostitutes they review due to the prostitutes being non-Human, as well as [[SexIsEvil being prostitutes]], which Puritanism condemns. He made sure to butcher any and all Succujoint establishments near his Temple, and nearly killed the Reviewers themselves when they attempted to stop him, resulting in the Reviewers being utterly terrified of Belos.
* As a consequence of the Day of Unity falling through, Belos began
looking for an alternative means of killing off the big scoop people of the Boiling Isles, ultimately culminating in Belos [[HijackingCthulhu possessing the Titan]] in order to finish the job, and very nearly succeeding, only being stopped by Eda, her son King who is himself a Titan, and Luz in her own Titan form. Nevertheless, the near success of the plan caused Belos to begin looking into similar beings that he could take control of to do the same thing to the Pantheon, as his Titan form cannot leave his Temple. It was this plan that lead to him discovering Homura Akemi and Sailor Galaxia. The two ultra powerful Magical Girls would try to seek information about it. This has hurt their chances of aligning provide Belos with near perfect vessels with which to begin massacring the Regime version Pantheon. Luz and Amity, along with Wanda Maximoff vowed to make sure that Belos couldn't possibly succeed, as they are well aware that the danger is very real. The thought of Superman, who otherwise is happy Belos possessing Homura in particular has the three genuinely fearful as Belos nearly attempted to help possess the Collector themself in the Boiling Isles, only being interrupted by the Collector waking up, and unlike Sailor Galaxia, Homura has never been under the control of someone else...
** Just
because of he is currently aiming to find a way to hijack Homura or Galaxia, doesn't mean that Belos isn't keeping his belief options open. When he learned of beings in conformity the Pantheon that were both able and forceful justice willing to grant absolutely any wish imaginable, regardless of morality, the Witch Hunter was almost giddy at the thought of how easy it would be to achieve his desired genocide with their help. The first deity that Belos began looking into was the Clockwork Star, Star Dream. He was very pleased to learn that all he needed to save mankind.
* They found
do to earn Star Dream's loyalty was succeed in its test of strength. His other nemesis Amity, who already desired Star Dream's destruction vowed to beat him to the punch and wish the NOVA out of existence. The other being related to wishes that Belos is investigating is Timmy Turner, though mainly for his possession of the Fairyversary Muffin, which much in common like Star Dream, can grant any wish imaginable. Because of Timmy's constant association with magical beings, the Sibyl System's desire for control Witch Hunter is more than happy to [[WouldHurtAChild kill the boy]] to get the Muffin.
** Of course, possession isn't Belos' only tool. He's also a highly skilled manipulator,
and obedience. Their alliance with the latter has put them up against the Phantom Thieves, who wish to cure the fundamentally corrupt yet enormously is frighteningly skillful at crafting quick plans that rely on deceiving a powerful nature being. Much to his enemies' dismay, Belos has started to pull this on the Mewmans Mina Loveberry, and Star Butterfly herself. Mina was quite easy for Belos to successfully twist around his finger, as her nearly single minded loathing of all monsters as well as her insanity led her to buying Belos' [[ExactWords technically true statements of loathing monsters]], leaving out that he intends on killing her for being a Witch after she has helped slaughter enough Demons that Belos is satisfied. Star was much trickier for him to deceive, however he was able to manipulate her into thinking that attempting to destroy the Magic of the Pantheon will benefit everyone, with Belos attempting to use Luz and Amity's own opposition to Star combined with fake empathy to push her into being more cooperative.
** While Belos was Emperor of the Boiling Isles, and in the leadup to the Day of Unity, he employed the services of Amity's parents Odalia and Alador Blight to provide him with a legion of mechanical soldiers known as Abomitons. Their purpose was ostensibly for greater security, but their ''actual'' purpose was to generate a massive shield around the center of the Isles as the Draining Spell took place to ensure that none of Belos' intended victims escaped. Aside from his existing allies, Belos was intrigued by the technological expertise of Dr. Eggman. Over his years as an enemy of Sonic, Robotnik has crafted some genuinely impressive robots in service of his goal of
World Government, Domination. Though Belos doesn't particularly parasites such as care about Eggman's own ambitions, he is nonetheless intrigued by the World Nobles. This frustrates potential uses his technology could have in service of Belos' crusade.
* Even amongst
the Five Elders, Human deities in the Pantheon who stand opposed to Magical beings, Belos doesn't have automatically have high opinions of them. He ''usually'' does, but they're hoping it remains just frustration.
* [[spoiler:They are in fact subordinate to
not always, as is the ''true'' head case for his opinions regarding Gaston. While he does approve of Gaston's transformation into a more extreme crusader who rallied the population of a town into a frenzied mob in hopes of killing the Beast, he scoffs at Gaston's reason for doing so being primarily motivated by his [[EntitledToHaveYou desire to wed Belle]]. Likewise, Belos views Denzel Crocker as a pathetic idiot who could only hinder Belos' crusade of genocide, especially when a core part of Crocker's motivation to capture Timmy's Fairies being that he wants to prove he isn't crazy for believing them to be real. The Witch Hunter views Crocker's only potential use for his goals as being a mere distraction for Timmy so that Belos can more easily abscond with the Fairyversary Muffin, fully intent on killing both of them once he does so.
* Much like Judge Frollo, Belos' openly genocidal fundamentalism has earned him virtually universal loathing amongst his fellow ascended Disney deities, even those that would otherwise pay him little mind. His countless atrocities from the murder of his brother and all
of the World Government, Imu. As Imu's very existence betrays the utter hypocrisy Grimwalkers, to his consumption and later destruction of what they supposedly stand for, it is an absolute secret that they must not let anyone know or else the fall thousands of Palismen souls, to his eradication of entire cities simply to drum up fear of WildMagic to better facilitate his rise to power and eventual implementation of the World Government Coven System, among many, many others, has put Belos in a tier of his own in terms of [[CompleteMonster monstrous depravity]], even when he completely lacks a trait like Frollo's lust. The fact that the ''vast'' majority of other Disney deities, both heroic and villainous are associated with Magic which would put them in his crosshairs only makes their contempt intensify.
* Can also be found in Pantheon/MotivationsForEvil.

->''”...Though, I shouldn't be too worried. After all, this 'Tropes Pantheon' place fortunately has allies that I can depend on to help me in my righteous crusade. With any luck, by the time I resume my cleansing of the Perdition that is the Boiling Isles, this place
will be a ForegoneConclusion. Not even their most trusted allies in the pantheon can know of Imu's existence. They recognize some similarities to [[Pantheon/{{Otherness}} Father free of the Homunculus]] and how he organized the Amestrian government to act as the ShadowDictator, but do not wish to talk anymore about it lest people get suspicious.]]sinful, demonic filth that infests it.”''

* Philip Wittebane was [[FromNobodyToNightmare a regular human from the]] [[Really700YearsOld 17th Century]] with a brother he idolized named Caleb, and a dream of becoming the greatest WitchHunter in the world. However, one faithful day, Caleb would cross paths with a Witch Woman from the Boiling Isles named Evelyn Clawthorne, and the two fell in love. Upon discovering this, [[AbsoluteXenophobe Philip]] tracked the two down, and [[SiblingMurder murdered his own brother]], rationalizing it by declaring Caleb to have been corrupted by the Isles. Unable to accept how his brother had grown to reject the Puritanical ideals of Gravesfield, he set out to accomplish two things. Creating a better version of his brother by making Grimwalker clones of him and raising them to Philip's standard, and [[FinalSolution slaughtering the inhabitants of the Boiling Isles]] as [[DisproportionateRetribution revenge]] for "tainting" his brother and to "[[ObliviouslyEvil save Humanity from evil]]".
The Red Skull offered an alliance which Belos accepted admiring Skull's talent for brainwashing his family members, being more than happy to provide his Magic to boost the Red Skull's devices for the sake of slaughtering all of their enemies. Another villain from the same world quickly earned Belos' approval: the Reverend William Stryker. Much like Belos, Stryker is an extreme {{fundamentalist}} who uses his religion as a justification for his monstrous actions, and desires nothing less than the genocide of a population with supernatural powers, and shows no qualms against murdering any normal Humans who get in his way, even his own family members. Stryker is more than happy to stand at Belos' side as they plot the slaughter of all the people they find to be sinful.
** HYDRA in general has also received substantial assistance from Belos with the resources he has available independent of Belos' alliance with Schmidt. Johan Liebert also likes Belos, admiring how there is no limit to the brutality of the violence Belos commits in pursuit of his goal of genocide, as well as his skill for mentally torturing his enemies, namely Luz and Hunter. While Belos doesn't appreciate Johan's [[CardCarryingVillain embrace of his own cruelty]], he does see Liebert's talent for mentally breaking people as being useful, wondering if it could be used to truly twist a Grimwalker, as well as other Humans he meets, into the mold that Belos desires.
** Belos has managed to earn some surprising, but exceptionally horrifying allies thanks to his loathing of those he sees as being unworthy of living, his devotion to establishing order, and his service of Chuck Shurley. While the Mad Kai Zamasu would normally loathe a mortal who willingly uses unholy magics, the fact that Belos does so in pursuit of the utter eradication of the Demon Realm, while also killing any other Human who stands opposed to his work in the name of God has made Zamasu [[YouAreACreditToYourRace see Belos in a similar light to how he sees Light Yagami]], as Demons are the only beings in existence that Zamasu hates ''more'' than mortals. The fact that Belos is the archenemy of Luz and Amity, both of whom represent chaotic forces of good, and the former of whom is capable of wielding the powers of the Demon Realm's God, the Titan, has made him more willing to work with the Witch Hunter, if for no other reason than to kill the Wicthes.
The couple and their friends, Luz in particular, proved to be the single biggest obstruction to Belos' plans for the [[FinalSolution genocide of the Boiling Isles]], from helping to start a rebellion and circumvent the Day of Unity, to finally defeating him in his Titan powered form after Belos killed her only for Luz to come BackFromTheDead in her own Titan Form.
Like Luz, the Calamity Girls all became the protectors of a world filled with Non-Human beings, with the trio becoming personal friends of many of the inhabitants of Amphibia, and is readying Petrification spells just for them. For their part, the three see Belos as actually being worse than their greatest foe, the Core, because Belos is just one man motivated by [[TheFundamentalist religious fanaticism]] as opposed to a MindHive. What's more, Belos is also directly responsible for Luz going through a death and resurrection, just like Anne did, in addition to Philip being capable of possessing people, just like the Core did to Marcy. The Plantar Family is almost as despised by Belos, as he sees them as being just like the Clawthorne family that he has spent centuries holding a grudge over.
Like with Luz, Belos chalks up their sympathy for Non-Human beings to be a result of the influence of the Supernatural all around them, but even so considers them a lost cause in need of the "mercy" of death.
* There is absolutely nothing Belos despises more than Witches and the concept of Witchcraft. Learning that Luz and Amity were in the Pantheon had utterly enraged Belos, and learning of how many other Witch deities there were alongside them did not improve his mode even slightly. For her part, Wanda sees Belos as simply being the Red Skull with Magic and has vowed that if he ever tried anything, she will immediately erase him from existence. The two had a brief skirmish where they tested each other's powers with both being confident their full might or most powerful form is capable of killing the other.
** Belos sees villainous Witches as being easy justification for all of his monstrous deeds, and while he despises them, he does feel satisfaction at the knowledge of the existence of people like Lord Voldemort and Maleficent. Voldemort's goals are extremely similar to Belos, but the targets of Voldemort's loathing are the exact reverse of the targets of Belos.
Xion was purpose built to be nothing more than a duplicate of [[Pantheon/GamingGenresNToZ Sora]] so Organization XIII could gain control of the Keyblade while also serving as a vessel of Master Xehanort. Upon learning of her, Belos attempted to possess her as he did with the last surviving Grimwalker, Hunter. Xion managed to expel Belos from her body and then took him on with her Keyblade. She held him off long enough for Superboy to come to her aid. Superboy had already earned Belos' loathing for being a rebellious clone, just as the Grimwalkers were, on top of him being part Kryptonian. This loathing was only enflamed when Superboy managed to break Belos' concentration and save Xion from petrification. Before Belos could exploit Superboy's Magic Vulnerability, Xion entered one of her final forms and managed to force the Witch Hunter to withdraw.
** Belos' despicable slaughter of his own brother and the Grimwalkers, whom he raised as his nephews until he murdered them, has earned him the vitriol of [[EvenEvilHasStandards other villains in addition to heroes]]. Max Eisenhardt, better known as Magneto, already loathed Belos for his bigotry and his alliance with the Red Skull and Reverend Stryker. However when he found out about Belos' slaughter of his family, Magneto declared him to be in dire need of death, especially since unlike Belos, Magneto does have protective affection for his on/off daughter Wanda. Another villain that carries hatred for Belos due to loathing abusive parental figures is none other than DIO. DIO, as monstrous as he is, does have some degree of affection for his son Giorno whenever he interacts with Giorno, in sharp contrast to Belos. The Vampire Stand User promptly punched a hole straight through Belos' body, though Belos was able to use a large Light Glyph to drive DIO away in order to heal his wound.
* It's nearly impossible to overstate the sheer hatred and vitriol that Belos holds in his heart for Demons and Witches. This is a man who willingly turned himself into an [[UndeadAbomination eldritch lich]] just so he could extend his life long enough to ensure he could slaughter the residents of the Boiling Isles, [[GloryHound as well as receive acclaim for doing so]].
While the Witch Hunter would normally be willing to just let Toffee destroy magic, he can't stand the thought of Toffee sparing Monsters from the planned slaughter, and his ego won't allow him to [[OnlyICanKillHim not do it himself in some way]].
Alucard loathes Belos for being a Human who willingly discarded his own mortality and converted himself into an abomination just for the sake of massacring an innocent population. The two did battle and though Alucard was unable to defeat Belos, he did touch his nerves by saying that Belos was far more of a monster than he was, both [[CompleteMonster figuratively]], and [[OurLichesAreDifferent literally]].
** On the Day of Unity, Belos was distracted by Luz and Amity's friend group including them, their friends Willow, and Gus, and the renegade Grimwalker Hunter. As a result of the actions of the so called "Hexsquad", Belos was nearly killed by the Collector, and the Draining Spell was disrupted. While the Thieves managed to escape safely, they were notably shaken by the experience of just how monstrous Belos really was, and they promptly declared Belos to be their foremost target to be taken down.
For their part, many figures in the Imperium greatly appreciate Belos' attitude and zeal for killing off anything that isn't Human and his extreme opposition to anything chaotic... but they dislike how Belos is willing to use the very Magic he despises, and warp himself into a [[TechnicallyLivingZombie lich]] in order to butcher the Demon Realm, especially since he made a deal with the Collector, even if Belos was the one manipulating the Child of the Stars.
** Despite revealing himself to be a bigoted monster with his attempt to slaughter the Witches and Demons of the Pantheon, and making no effort to pretend he is anything else, he is still a very intelligent manipulator, namely due to his talent for telling people what they want to hear and lowering suspicion for himself. When Belos learned of Lex Luthor, and his own ability to manipulate people and get the sympathy of the populace, as well as Lex's hatred of entities he sees as being a threat to Humanity, he felt substantial respect for the business man, even if he felt Lex was too focused on amassing his own power than using it to "Save Humanity" to consider Lex a true ally.
** Another Human opposed to Aliens whom Belos carries tremendous respect for is the Illusive Man. Belos sees the Illusive Man's efforts to advance Humanity through his resources in Cerberus as being a truly noble goal, and happily agrees with the Illusive Man's opposition to the other races of the Citadel.
Eren tells him that he has room to stand on, since he also sacrificed his humanity to commit genocide, and notes that while he did what he felt was necessary to protect his people, Belos committed genocide purely for the sake of satisfying his own bigotry, and [[GloryHound desire for acclaim by other Humans]], with him being willing to kill other Humans who view him as being monstrous.
Belos merely stated that he is naturally opposed to deviancy and sin.
* While Belos set up his fascist dictatorship in order to prepare the Boiling Isles for his genocide attempt with the Draining Spell, he did still put effort into maintaining said dictatorship in order to dupe the inhabitants into thinking that he ran their society with their best interests in mind, when in reality he was going to such lengths for the sake of "saving Humanity from evil".
** Lord Farquaad caught Belos' attention for his attempt to expel all fairy tale beings from his personal Fiefdom of Dulac, in order to create an orderly ethnostate populated only by Humans.
The Witch Hunter isn't particularly worried about getting on Jack's nerves as he knows that he is substantially more dangerous without any power boosts than Jack, and was happy to educate Jack on this by smacking him around with his Magic.
** Belos has a much better relationship with deities such as B.B. Hood, and Archibald Snatcher. In Hood's case, he respects the merciless bloodlust she holds in her heart in regards to killing off monsters, with the Emperor voicing his willingness to employ her services to kill off monsters that get on his nerves, or bring them in alive so Belos can experiment on them in the hopes of finding new ways of slaughtering them en mass. In Snatcher's case, Belos fully respects his desire to advance his place in society by killing off as many Trolls as he can, not unlike how Belos is planning the eradication of all life on the Boiling Isles. Snatcher is happy to support Belos due to Belos being a direct subordinate of Chuck Shurley, with Snatcher hoping that the Witch Hunter will put in a good word to his Master, in addition for Belos sharing his hatred of non-Humans.
The Witch Hunter hasn't directly clashed with Forgo yet, [[LetsYouAndHimFight but he doesn't attempt to intervene when his own nemesis' in Lumity do]].
* Make no mistake, if there's one thing that Belos despises almost as much as he despises Witches and Demons, it's Humans that either sympathize with, or actively partake in superpowered endavours. When he learned of Superheroes from the Red Skull and Lex Luthor, Belos was sickened. While Belos was already allied with HYDRA and working against superheroic groups, he found himself searching for more fellow Humans who didn't start with any powers who held similar beliefs. Belos himself was more than happy to do so, and equally happily aided Syndrome in his battles with the Parr family, much to the latter's horror.
When he learned of Belos, the Doom Slayer promptly aimed all of his weapons at the Witch Hunter, much to the latter's anger.
* Because of Belos perceiving Caleb, and later his archnemesis Luz standing against him as traitors to Humanity, he also loathes people who do similar things, both percieved traitors such as the Interspecies Reviewers amongst many others, and actual traitors such as Griffith, and Ragyo Kiryuin.
* As a consequence of the Day of Unity falling through, Belos began looking for an alternative means of killing off the people of the Boiling Isles, ultimately culminating in Belos [[HijackingCthulhu possessing the Titan]] in order to finish the job, and very nearly succeeding, only being stopped by Eda, her son King who is himself a Titan, and Luz in her own Titan form. Nevertheless, the near success of the plan caused Belos to begin looking into similar beings that he could take control of to do the same thing to the Pantheon, as his Titan form cannot leave his Temple. It was this plan that lead to him discovering Homura Akemi and Sailor Galaxia. The two ultra powerful Magical Girls would provide Belos with near perfect vessels with which to begin massacring the Pantheon. Luz and Amity, along with Wanda Maximoff vowed to make sure that Belos couldn't possibly succeed, as they are well aware that the danger is very real. The thought of Belos possessing Homura in particular has the three genuinely fearful as Belos nearly attempted to possess the Collector themself in the Boiling Isles, only being interrupted by the Collector waking up, and unlike Sailor Galaxia, Homura has never been under the control of someone else...
** Just because he is currently aiming to find a way to hijack Homura or Galaxia, doesn't mean that Belos isn't keeping his options open. When he learned of beings in the Pantheon that were both able and willing to grant absolutely any wish imaginable, regardless of morality, the Witch Hunter was almost giddy at the thought of how easy it would be to achieve his desired genocide with their help. The first deity that Belos began looking into was the Clockwork Star, Star Dream. He was very pleased to learn that all he needed to do to earn Star Dream's loyalty was succeed in its test of strength. His other nemesis Amity, who already desired Star Dream's destruction vowed to beat him to the punch and wish the NOVA out of existence. The other being related to wishes that Belos is investigating is Timmy Turner, though mainly for his possession of the Fairyversary Muffin, which much like Star Dream, can grant any wish imaginable. Because of Timmy's constant association with magical beings, the Witch Hunter is more than happy to [[WouldHurtAChild kill the boy]] to get the Muffin.
** Of course, possession isn't Belos' only tool. He's also a highly skilled manipulator, and is frighteningly skillful at crafting quick plans that rely on deceiving a powerful being.
Eggman. Over his years as an enemy of Sonic, Robotnik has crafted some genuinely impressive robots in service of his goal of World Domination. Though Belos doesn't particularly care about Eggman's own ambitions, he is nonetheless intrigued by the potential uses his technology could have in service of Belos' crusade.
* Even amongst the Human deities in the Pantheon who stand opposed to Magical beings, Belos doesn't have automatically have high opinions of them. He ''usually'' does, but not always, as is the case for his opinions regarding Gaston.
His countless atrocities from the murder of his brother and all of the Grimwalkers, to his consumption and later destruction of thousands of Palismen souls, to his eradication of entire cities simply to drum up fear of WildMagic to better facilitate his rise to power and eventual implementation of the Coven System, among many, many others, has put Belos in a tier of his own in terms of [[CompleteMonster monstrous depravity]], even when he completely lacks a trait like Frollo's lust. The fact that the ''vast'' majority of other Disney deities, both heroic and villainous are associated with Magic which would put them in his crosshairs only makes their contempt intensify.
* Can also be found in Pantheon/{{Hunters}}.

->''”...Though, I shouldn't be too worried. After all, this 'Tropes Pantheon' place fortunately has allies that I can depend on to help me in my righteous crusade. With any luck, by the time I resume my cleansing of the Perdition that is the Boiling Isles, this place will be free of the sinful, demonic filth that infests it.”''

** Dedan is the Guardian of Zone 1, an easily angered, belligerent man (possibly a mutant) who treats his subjects like crap, and is implied to have verbally abused them regularly. His second chance at life did not improve his temper one bit (he seems more irritated than before) nor did it improve his relationship with his subjects, who are still timid and anxious just as ever, as the Tall Guardian seems just as impatient and critical of them (if not more). This got a bit for flack from other villains like [[Pantheon/{{Leadership}} King Dedede]] and [[Pantheon/{{Dragons}} Bowser]] and former villain Gru, who have their own silly and simple-minded mooks but are good and patience to them despite that. They even tried to help him out on how to treat his subjects better but Dedan lashes out at them, saying that they shouldn't damn tell him how he should manage his workers and that should mind their own fucking business. He even threatens to skin them personally should they ever set foot at his temple/zone again, and due to the threat the three of them and their respective mooks have kept their distance from him since then. His bad treatment of his subjects lead to some comparisons with [[Pantheon/CombatOther Etna]], who is similarly cruel to her [[Pantheon/OtherCreatures Prinny]] minions, to the point of using them as expendable punching bags. Of course, Dedan tends to punt the Prinnies around whenever he's in a bad mood (which is often) and ends up in tussled with Etna thanks to their irritable natures.
