In ''Film/XMenFirstClass'' she is shown as almost the same age as Charles Xavier, but in the original X-Men trilogy Charles was played by Creator/PatrickStewart whereas the lovely Olivia Williams played the modern-day Moira in ''Film/XMenTheLastStand''. Stewart is 30 years older than Williams.
** Given the reveal in ''Film/XMenDaysOfFuturePast'' that Toad was a soldier in Vietnam, he was somewhere in his forties during ''Film/XMen1''. Ray Park was only 26 at the time.

*** Charles, Erik, Hank and Alex Summers all physically look pretty much the same as they did in ''Film/XMenFirstClass'', despite the fact that it's been over a decade since the events of that film. (Mystique is excused, since her mutation slows her aging process.)
*** Due to a combination of PlayingGertrude and that Creator/ElliotPage is OlderThanTheyLook, Kitty Pryde is another example.
** Again in ''Film/XMenApocalypse''.
*** Despite being twenty years older, everyone looks roughly the same. Even odder, Alex Summers' younger brother Scott is still in high school, making him young enough to be his son.
*** Lampshaded by Charles who says Moira hasn't aged a day.
** ''Film/{{Logan}}'': Downplayed somewhat -- [[Comicbook/{{X 23}} Laura]] is 11 years old, but you'd easily be forgiven for thinking she's even younger. She's positively ''tiny'', and much of her behavior and mannerisms are much more appropriate for a child half her age.
* In a scene from the Director's Cut of ''Film/TheLordOfTheRingsTheTwoTowers'', Eowyn was startled to realize that Aragorn was ''over eighty'' years old. This is because he's a Dunedain, who have a bit of elven blood in them.

** [[PhysicalGod Asgardains]] same as in the comics are [[Really700YearsOld 1000s of years old]], Film/{{Thor}} himself confirms he’s 1500 years old in ''Film/AvengersInfinityWar'' and thanks to a TimeSkip in ''Film/AvengersEndgame'' is 1505. But going by appearance and personality Thor just seems like a 30-something ManChild whose millenia of knowledge doesn’t go beyond [[StrongAndSkilled combat]] and knowing different languages.
** Similarly Steve Rogers aka Captain America (along with Bucky) due [[HumanPopsicle being frozen]] in the 1940s still looks youthful despite chronologically being in his 70s by the time of ''Film/TheAvengers2012''. [[spoiler: Averted in ''[[Film/AvengersEndgame Endgame]]'' as Steve finally looks his age as through TimeTravel he lived a peaceful life with Peggy. Though this trope is still in effect as the considering the years spent on ice, Steve is approximately 251 years old, way older than he looks]]. There’s some FridgeBrilliance reflecting that Tony Stark being 42 at time he met Cap and Thor and was by far the youngest of the trio despite looking older than them (it helps Robert Downey Jr. is his 50s).
** Appears to be inferred in ''Film/IronMan3''. Dr. Maya Hansen is played by Creator/RebeccaHall both in 2012 scenes and in a flashback set in December 1999. She's either supposed to be a TeenGenius or she's a few years older than Hall (since Hall was born in 1982 and would have been 17 years old in 1999).

** Carol Danvers aka Film/{{Captain Marvel|2019}} thanks to Kree BioAugmentation and [[spoiler: The Space Stone]] has had her aging slowed so she still looks she’s 29 when 23 years have passed and she should be one of the oldest women in the cast at 52 years old, if not even older considering all the traveling she’s been doing in space.
** Aunt May as reimagined in ''Film/CaptainAmericaCivilWar'' and ''Film/SpiderManHomecoming'' throws a couple of lampshades on how young she looks. The character has historically been portrayed as an elderly woman and, while actress Creator/MarisaTomei was a good deal younger than her predecessors (Rosemary Harris at 78, Sally Field at 64) - she was still in her fifties! This does have a justification from a SettingUpdate point of view; if she were the aunt of a high schooler in TheNewTens she would have been born in the 1960s and not lived through the Great Depression and two world wars like her original comics introduction.
* Dr. Lao in ''Seven Faces of Dr. Lao'' confesses to being 7,322 years old!
* Kruger from ''Film/{{Elysium}}''. According to supplementary material, he was born in 1970, making him almost 200. This is also implied with Delacourt and the other members of Elysium's elite. It's one of the theories regarding why ImmortalityImmorality pops up: you let one generation live too long in power, they're going to get ''really'' corrupt and ego-maniacal.
* In ''Film/AnotherTimeAnotherPlace'' this may overlap with DawsonCasting, since Janie's age is never actually clarified. She looks about 19 or 20 at a push, and even younger in certain lights. Phyllis Logan was actually 27 at the time the film was made, so she could be anywhere between 18 and 30.
* In ''Film/SuckerPunch'', Babydoll looks like a child, but is 20.
* In ''Film/RobinsonCrusoeOnMars'', when the stranded Commander Draper finally gets [[ShockCollar the second black bracelet]] off of [[HumanAlien Friday]], he asks how long he had it on. Friday replies "Sixty-two years". He they explains he's seventy-eight (although it's unclear how long he considers a year). For the record, the actor who played him (Victor Lundin) was 34 when the movie was released.
* An odd case in ''Film/{{Legend}}''- while the character of Honeythorn Gump's age is never specified, and certain aspects of it seem to imply adulthood, he ''looks'' about 10-11, maybe 12 at a stretch. David Bennent, the actor playing him, was ''nineteen'' at the time.
* Rapunzel in ''Film/IntoTheWoods''. [[spoiler:She should be the Baker's sister, meaning she'd have to be around his age. She doesn't look it at all]]. Possibly justified in-universe because she has mostly avoided sun exposure for her whole life. And the issue also exists in [[Theatre/IntoTheWoods the source material]], [[spoiler:when the Witch says she took Rapunzel when the Baker was "no more than a babe" and Rapunzel states she was locked in the tower for 14 years, which should make the Baker a teenager]].
* In Creator/TheAsylum's version of ''Fairytale/SleepingBeauty'', Dawn comments jokingly that she was "very young" on the day of her christening. When Barrow says that Dawn is still young, she points out that due to the time she spent sleeping, she is now over a hundred years old.
* Clara from ''Theatre/TheLightInThePiazza'' is [[spoiler:twenty-six]] but looks like she could be in her late teens or early twenties. She acts even younger than a teenager due to a mental disability.
* ''Series/OddSquad: TheMovie'' reveals that [[spoiler:Ms. O, despite looking like a child, was actually around back in 1983]].

* ''Franchise/HarryPotter'': Albus Dumbledore (at least Creator/MichaelGambon's version; Creator/RichardHarris looked more convincing) looks to be around 65-70 years old but is actually 116 as of [[spoiler:his death]].
* In the Soviet comedy film ''The Boys from Leningrad'', the main protagonist, Vasya Vesnushkin, is 18 years old, while Vasya's actor, Georgy Vitsin, was 37 years old!
* Played with in ''Film/Dune1984'' with Paul's sister, Alia. She's really only a toddler both physically and mentally, but is imbued with all the knowledge and psychic powers of an adult "Reverend Mother" and so often behaves in a way which implies this trope, despite it not being literally true.
* Cid, the young version of The Rainmaker, a mob boss with telekinetic abilities from the past in ''Film/{{Looper}}'', is stated to be 10 years old, however he looks and acts as if he were 7 or younger. The actor who played him actually was around seven at the time of filming.

* Rosie of ''Film/ICouldNeverBeYourWoman'' convincingly lies to say she's 37 when she's actually 40. Her actress Michelle Pfeiffer was a full seven years older than the character.
* Aleta, the BigBad of ''Film/AletaVampireMistress'' looks to be somewhere in the area of her twenties/thirties, but has walked the Earth since Ancient China, where she comes from.

* ''Film/BicentennialMan'': Andrew naturally has the ability to appear at any age he wants (he and Rupert initially set it as forty-two). Portia as well; late in the film, she looks like she's in her late 40's, early 50's, despite being around 100, thanks to the artificial organs. Andrew strongly hints that she could be immortal, too, but [[WhoWantsToLiveForever Portia tells him she doesn't want to]].

** [[HeroKiller Thanos]] similar to Thor is many centuries old which justifies his extensive knowledge and [[InvincibleVillain unrivalled skill]] in battle. Though despite being somewhat wrinkled Thanos still looks younger than his eldest adoptive son Ebony Maw whose a frail EvilSorcerer.

* In ''Film/StepKids'', the teen protagonist's dad is "almost 40, looks like he's 30, thinks like he's 20, and [[OneOfTheKids acts like he's 10]]. [[DeadpanSnarker He's fun to play boardgames with.]]"

* ''Series/TheLordOfTheRings''contains a weirdly meta example. OlderThanTheyLook character Aragorn (actually in his 80s, looks 20) was played by Viggo Mortenson who was 50 at the time of filming ''and somehow still looked 20-something''. While actors looking youthful is nothing particularly strange, this is a touch more dramatic than your average example.
