** The flashback scene cannot be stressed enough how disturbing it is as it shows how the Curse began: Takeo is seen skimming through Kayako's journal, reading all of her ramblings about loving Peter Kirk. Just as she arrives however to greet him...[[OhCrap she realizes he's read everything]]. [[UnstoppableRage Takeo then proceeds to lunge after her]], causing her to trip down the stairs and sprain her neck as he [[SanitySlippage as he snaps his neck and slowly goes after her]] as Kayako tries to escape.
