* AmbiguouslySentientObject: While the Discarded Magical Blue Grundo Plushie of Prosperity is explicitly described as magical, it's a bit ambiguous as to whether he is a LivingToy or not. He never speaks (although his facial expression can change, as he smiles during the month of December), and his description says that talking to a plushie is "silly", and yet sometimes money is found on the ground after he is spoken to. When this happens, text on the screen says, "Could be a coincidence or..."

A RunningGag is that they ''[[AmbiguouslyEvil might]]'' be secretly evil and just using their cute appearance (they look like technicolour hamsters) and cute "meep" sounds to feign innocence, but it's left ambiguous. Regardless, they are far from harmless; one of the strongest Battledome abilities (only obtainable at Level 500) involves summoning a stampede of Meepits to pummel your opponent.

You'll never need Neocash unless you take dressing your pet up ''very'' seriously, and the only major effects on gameplay given by Premium membership are the extra pet slot and Super Shop Wizard. On the other hand, if you do use that extra pet slot and then cancel that membership, you're going to have to give up ''said pet''. This isn't made any easier considering that about-to-be-abandoned pets [[GuiltBasedGaming express their new horror and despair in no-uncertain terms]]. ** Virtual prize codes primarily award individual items, which are generally not restricted like Neocash items and can be sold to other players for Neopoints. Most prize codes yield items which are also available though other means, making this an extremely inefficient way to gain items and Neopoints. Some merch sold while the game Key Quest was active awarded players Key Quest game tokens (also sold in the NC Mall), which could not be sold to others and were functionally similar to free tokens - their primary difference was visual, though some had unusual alignments, allowing players to benefit from different spaces on the game board.
