*** Some fans, particularly newer ones (post ''Kai''/''Abridged''/''Super''), even admitted that they were surprised when they [[AluminumChristmasTrees found out that the line was spoken in the original dub]], thinking that the line was a just a gag made by TFS for ''Abridged'' and ''not'' something that Piccolo actually said in the original dub.
* The weird robotic noises Mecha-Frieza makes in the English dub of ''Kai'' when Future Trunks' cuts him in half. It almost sounds like he's singing!

* ''Anime/DragonBallZ'''s "It's over NINE THOUSAND!", thanks to MemeticMutation, has become one of the most (in)famous pieces of {{Narm}} of all time. While the Ocean Group version of the line is better known, the Funimation version (which is the version Team Four Star chose to parody) is pretty silly itself, although that might have been done on purpose to lightly parody the original version.

Hearing all these lines in narration and spoken dialogue about how Goku is a "protector of the innocent" with not a single bad bone in his body becomes all the harder to take seriously when you know how Goku actually operates. Unsurprisingly, Creator/{{Funimation}} consider the original dub an OldShame and have since made their dub of ''Anime/DragonBallKai'' more accurate, with Goku's proper characterization in mind.

* Creator/KyleHebert's deep narrator voice can sometimes lead to Narm, like in the episode "Gohan Goes To High School" where he says in his standard, Creator/DonLafontaine-esque tone, "Hurry, Gohan! You'd hate to be late to class..." This is immediately followed by the title card with the standard "guitar riff episode title" theme. Basically, a rockin' guitar riff set to white text saying "Gohan Goes To High School". Doubly funny because [[TalkingToHimself Kyle Hebert is talking about Kyle Hebert]].

* The English narrator for GT speaks in a dramatic growl, as if to emphasize how intense the action is. Even if said action is Trunks dressing up as a woman to marry a doofy looking space monster.

* Speaking of dubs, thanks to [[BigBad Freeza]] having [[CrossdressingVoice a female voice actor]] in various English dubs, when the Namek saga was dubbed in hindi for Indian airing (in 2007), they [[ShesAManInJapan turned him into a woman]] instead. One of his most (in)famous BadassBoast in that version was '''"I am the Queen of the Universe!"'''. As a result, a lot of fans who only watched the Creator/CartoonNetwork India version still believe Freeza is a woman.

* The Bang Zoom! dub of ''Super'' isn't too bad per se since it features well known voice actors like Creator/JamiesonPrice and Creator/KaijiTang who did their best (and Creator/WendeeLee got to reprise the role of Bulma from 20+ years ago) but while the choice of Creator/LexLang as Goku isn't a bad idea on paper, the result is basically this. Goku is supposed to be a super strong BookDumb hillbilly but Lang's version of Goku goes so far with that it loops straight into Narm territory. His normal speaking voice has this odd whiny twang that tends to veer towards sounding like [[WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty Morty]], his BigWHAT attempt against Beerus sounds more like an imitation of a SassyBlackWoman and during battle, Goku lets out these odd [[FunnyBruceLeeNoises battle cries]] that sound like he's taken up [[Anime/FistOfTheNorthStar Hokuto Shinken]] (funny given who Lang has voiced before.) Its almost a shame they only managed to proude around 50 episodes before getting quietly cancelled.

* Yamcha randomly singing [[BigLippedAlligatorMoment "Cat loves food, yeah yeah yeah yeah!"]] in the Funimation dub.

A ways into the fight however it becomes apparent that Hirudegarn actually ''is'' just a big pair of legs and a tail stomping around.

* The Sigma Force in ''GT'' are given pathetically unintimidating voices in the English dub. They give (Base Form) Goku a decent fight, but with every word coming out in a stiff monotone, they sound more like children pretending to be robots and come off as the pathetic QuirkyMinibossSquad they really are.

* The official dub of episode 111 of ''Super'' unfortunately turned Hit's elimination by Jiren into this with one major gaff: the Grand Priest declaring Hit as hailing from the 11th universe instead of the correct 6th. Jiren just betrayed his own universe!

** When Nappa destroys a plane that is full of people which we explicitly see, Nappa decides to blow up the plane in it and unfortunately they couldn't do the "Cargo Robot" excuse so they covered it up with [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kl4ghsv04V0 Tien claiming that he saw parachutes so they're okay]], except that there is nothing resembling a parachute at all let alone seeing them managing to retreat safely away. * Many English speaking fans consider Adult!Goku's Japanese voice {{Narm}}ful, finding it dissonant to hear a full-grown martial artist (a grandfather in the end) speaking with almost the exact same voice he had as a twelve-year old. This is intentional, however.

* The AB Groupe dub, better known for as the "Big Green" dub, is infamous for its awfulness and its BlindIdiotTranslation. It is also hilarious for the wrong reasons.

* Super Saiyan Goku's "I am" speech in the Funimation dub of ''Z'' is hilariously bad. Not only because of the cheesy writing, but because it took the original point of the speech (Goku finally embracing his Saiyan heritage and making it clear that he's not fighting for fun, but to ''kill Freeza''), chucked it out of the window and replaced it with a generic, gaudy "I'm better than you because I'm the good guy" speech lifted straight out of an old ''{{Franchise/Superman}}'' comic.

* Practically every other one-liner to come out of Frieza's mouth in the Funimation dub can come off as unintentionally hilarious (especially during scenes when he's supposed to be intimidating).
* [[https://youtu.be/UpoVb3eiiHQ This... moment]] from the Cell Saga when Cell tries to surprise 17 with a body slam to absorb him. It doesn't work... Because he tries it right above the sun where 17 would notice the shadow, and Cell lets out probably the most unusual, yet hilarious roar you can think of. The Japanese music in the background only makes the entire moment sillier than it needs to be.

* One from the original Dragonball, the fight of Goku against Devilman, specifically his use of the Devilmite Beam. For context, it's an attack that instantly kills whoever it's used on by taking the evil in a person's heart and exploding them from the inside. When Devilman is about to use it, Roshi explains the attack's properties all while everybody is extremely dramatic about Goku's impending death... but Goku is pure of heart (or at least, [[GoodIsNotNice as pure as a Saiyan child can be]]) as any of the viewers who have been paying any attention at all would know. Everybody there except Devilman himself is aware of this yet they all act like there's actually a chance the attack would kill Goku. And the funniest part? In the anime's version of the events, ''he tries it again.''

** The fact that every super power in the AB Groupe dub is inexplicably referred to as a Kamehameha. Kaioken? That's now a Kamehameha. Even the act of transforming into a Super Saiyan- sorry, ''Super Space Warrior''- sorry, ''Space Super Warrior'' is apparently a Kamehameha now!c
