* ''Manga/AttackOnTitan'' has somehow managed to take the concept of {{Narm}} and ''[[{{Deconstruction}} weaponize]]'' it. Many of the [[HumanoidAbomination Titans]] look like funny, [[{{Gonk}} Gonky]] nudists that are stoned out of their mind, and it can feel a little silly watching people try to fight them and end up making mistakes that get them killed... until the Titan makes a SlasherSmile, takes off running like a crazed maniac, and [[ToServeMan chows down]], at which point the Narm gives way to good ol' PrimalFear, right when you're least expecting it.
** Sometimes though, Titans take their Narminess a bit ''too'' far. At one point in Season 3 of the show, one of the Titans surrounding the walls is shown channeling the fabulousness of the [[Manga/JojosBizarreAdventure Joestars]] with [[https://youtu.be/A5KZg5g8aY0?t=76 this absurd pose]].

The worst moment has to be when, for no good reason, he's seated naked in a throne, holding a collapsible rapier in one hand, talking about her... and then [[SomethingElseAlsoRises the sword expands.]] Fortunately, that is the last episode he talks about her.

* ''Roleplay/RecordOfLodossWar'': the series is usually made with exceptional quality, but the kobolds and goblins sound just like a five year old kid trying to immitate a parrot.

* In ''Anime/PokemonTheFirstMovie'', where Ash has just released the Pokémon captured by Mewtwo and is guiding them up to do battle against Mewtwo's army of cloned, enhanced Pokémon. Ash declares that they won't allow him to go through with his plan of genocide. It's all tense and dramatic right up until Ash attempts to attack Mewtwo himself. Mewtwo was seen deflecting a wave of fire from a Charizard, a charging Rhydon, and a Hyper Beam from a Gyarados, all with no effort whatsoever; charging Mewtwo seems a rather foolish thing for Ash to do. Mewtwo, for his part, contemptuously flings Ash several hundred feet through the air, which would have killed him were it not for Mew's intervention.

** ''Vento Aureo'' also features an important turtle with the ability to house people inside a miniature room within the jewel of the key embedded in its shell, serving as a lounge, hideout, and base of operations for the main cast. Too often does the turtle turn every sentence its mentioned in into a RareSentence.

** The English translations of the more recent manga installments display the habit of placing certain words between a pair of apostrophes. It's understandable given that said words have no equivalent in the original Japanese language, but the practice sometimes ends up making otherwise mundane objects sound more intriguing than usual whenever they're mentioned, leading to moments such as Annasui inspecting the plants growing on Jolyne Cujoh's face and proclaiming "These are 'plants'", as if he's never seen a plant before.

* While ''Manga/JojosBizarreAdventure'' is mainly NarmCharm for many, the potential for a lot of its moments to be taken out of context are its main source of regular ol' Narm for many.
