His Tycoon form is homage to [[Series/KamenRider Ichi-go]] in color scheme with elements of [[Series/KamenRiderGaim Kouta Kazaraba]].

** The Yeti Megid is the first MonsterOfTheWeek of 2021, evoking the [[Series/KamenRider original series]]' appearance of Shocker's yeti-themed monster, named Snowman, in the very first New Year episode back in 1972.

** In episode 17, Daisuke, accompanying Gon to the women's restroom because she's scared, is caught by a woman, who then opens up her cell phone to call the police. As she dials the numbers, ''[[Series/KamenRiderFaiz Faiz's]]'' phone effects can be heard.

*** IXA's weapon works ''just'' like [[Series/KamenRiderFaiz Kaixa's]] (a plus shaped weapon that changes from a gun to a sword), they both have a phone TransformationTrinket (although to be fair, IXA's phone is for his most powerful form), and just look at their names! Not to mention that the one who uses it the longest is... [[AxCrazy not all]] [[KnightTemplar there.]]

** Sakurako and Jean are based out of Jounan University, the same college where [[Series/KamenRider Takeshi Hongo]] studied; Episode 40 takes it further by having Yusuke, Sakurako, and Enokida mention a "Professor Hongo", who had BigOlEyebrows and a BadassBaritone (Yusuke's impression sounding a lot like Creator/HiroshiFujioka), implying that they're talking about the original Rider.

* ''Series/KamenRiderAmazons:'' Just like in ''Amazon'', the Mole Amazon is a DefectorFromDecadence and helps out the Pest Exterminators.
** All of the Amazons wear armlets that resemble the Gigi Armlet that was the original Amazon's TransformationTrinket.
** [[Series/KamenRider Once again:]] [[Series/KamenRiderKuuga Spider first, then Bat.]]
** [[Series/KamenRiderFourze Nozama Pharmacy, anyone?]][[note]]This is actually a recursive MythologyGag, as [[Series/KamenRiderFourze Tomoko Nozoma]]'s surname is supposed to be Amazon [[SdrawkcabName backwards]] as a reference to ''Series/KamenRiderAmazon'', since ''Fourze'' celebrates the 40th anniversary of the franchise.[[/note]]

Kamen Rider Ichi-Gata from ''The First Generation'' takes what Zero-One already has and goes even further; with a name closer to Ichigo's, Ichigo's original blue color scheme, and his [=CycloneRiser=] belt named and colored after Ichigo's motorcycle.
** Episode 6 has posters for ShowWithinAShow anime that reference previous ''Rider'' series. [[https://i.redd.it/afmvhshn7vq31.png "Haran Banjou"]] features a dragon-boy boxer (whose CatchPhrase seems to be "I won't lose!") accompanied by a rabbit, referencing ''Series/KamenRiderBuild''[='s=] Ryuga Banjou and Sento Kiryu respectively. "Magical Girl Koyomi in Magicland", whose CatchPhrase is "It's showtime!", is [[Series/KamenRiderWizard a little more obvious]].
** The matchmaker [=HumaGear=] Match Enmusubi says that his job is finding peoples' "Best Matches", which were ArcWords in ''Series/KamenRiderBuild''.
** The names and logos of the companies other than Hiden Intelligence and ZAIA Enterprise shown to be responsible for different areas of Daybreak Town in episode 4 are shout-outs to previous Kamen Rider series. For example, the second from left calls back to ''Series/KamenRiderGaim'', the top right has an eye design very similar to ''[[Series/KamenRiderGhost Ghost's]]'', and [=Jee.Net=] has a design that evokes ''[[Series/KamenRiderKiva Kiva]]''.
** ''REAL×TIME'' introduces Kamen Rider Abaddon, which is actually a bunch of identical Riders with color-coded shoulder pieces, basically a ''Zero-One'' take on the [[Series/KamenRider Shocker Riders.]]

* ''Series/KamenRiderZiO''
** Many of the clocks and knick-knacks in Junichiro's shop are props that were used in previous seasons. Some were not the exact piece used, but are of the same model and appearance.
** Zi-O's name calls back to both the last 20th anniversary Rider ([[Film/KamenRiderZO ZO]]) and the last time travel Rider ([[Series/KamenRiderDenO Den-O]]).
** Zi-O was born in 2000, the year ''Series/KamenRiderKuuga'' premiered and started the franchise's Heisei era.
** The naming scheme for the Another Riders is the same as that of [[Series/KamenRiderAgito Another Agito]]. The Another Rider for Agito turns out to be a particularly twisted mythology gag - while certain humans could potentially evolve into Agito, Another Agito only existed because the real form of Agito was taken by Shoichi Tsugami [[spoiler:and his sister before that]]. In ''Zi-O'', humans are forcefully evolved into Another Agitoes ''whether they want to or not.''
** During Woz's opening and ending narration (from Episode 2 onwards), [[Series/KamenRiderExAid Cronus's]] clock can be seen behind him.
** Two relating to Ōma Zi-O:
*** His "Rider/ライダー" visor is vaguely shaped like a bird similar to [[Series/KamenRider Shocker]]'s symbol.
*** Him being an evil version of [[TheProtagonist Sougo]] who [[EvilOverlord becomes a Demon King]] in a BadFuture makes him similar with Future!Kotaro Minami in the {{manga}} adaptation of ''Series/KamenRiderBlack''.
** In a FreezeFrameBonus, [[CreepyDoll Dr. Maki's doll]] can be seen in the background of a few of Kuroto Dan's scenes during the OOO arc.
** The three Riders in the ''Over Quartzer'' movie are homages to Heisei-but-not-Heisei Riders -- that is, series that aired in Japan's Heisei era, but aren't counted in the franchise's Heisei group. One is based on ''[[Series/KamenRiderBlackRX Black RX]]''; the second is a shared reference to ''[[Film/ShinKamenRiderPrologue Shin]]'', ''[[Film/KamenRiderZO ZO]]'', and ''[[Film/KamenRiderJ J]]''; and the third homages ''[[Series/KamenRiderAmazons Amazons]]''. The movie also features cameos from a variety of other works outside the main series, including the ''[[Series/KamenRiderGaim Kamen Rider Zangetsu]]'' stage show, ''[[Series/KamenRiderDrive Kamen Rider Brain]]'', ''[[Recap/KamenRiderExAidKamenSentaiGorider Kamen Sentai Gorider]]'', ''Film/KamenRiderG'', the [[Manga/KamenRiderKuuga manga version of Kuuga]], and even an unofficial parody ''Kamen Norider''!
** Another Kabuto's belt buckle is a yellow larva with red markings curled into a ball, which evokes the design of Series/KamenRiderStronger's Electrer belt; Kabuto was specifically designed to be an homage to Stronger.
** Sougo's former classmate Owada is effectively a [[Series/KamenRiderExAid gender-flipped Nico Saiba]].
** [[spoiler:Kamen Rider Tsukuyomi]]'s design and henshin pose is one to [[Series/KamenRiderRyuki Miho Kirishima/Kamen Rider Femme's]]. Her crescent moon-shaped visor is also reminiscent of [[Series/KamenRiderGaim Zangetsu's]].
** A good chunk of the basis of ''Kamen Rider: Bibibi no Bibill Geiz'' comes from ''VideoGame/CorpseParty'' or possibly ''Anime/GhostStories''.[[labelnote:*]]''Ghost Stories'' was considered infamously subpar by anime standards, and the American GagDub came as a result of it being forced into a package deal to make ''some'' kind of money off of it. * ''Series/KamenRiderDecade:'' Just about everything in the [[strike:past nine years]] ''Kamen Rider'' franchise's entire 38-year history gets shown or referenced during the course of the show.
** Decade's suit is basically a modernized version of ''Film/KamenRiderZX'', ZX being the protagonist of the Showa era Kamen Riders' 10th anniversery celebration.
** Kamen Rider Diend’s transformation device is similar to [[Series/KamenRiderKabuto Kamen Rider Drake]]’s, as both can be used as a gun.
** The Final Attack Ride cards all have the Rider logos in gold, just like [[Series/KamenRiderRyuki Final Vent cards]]. Quite appropriate when you got past Riders acting in the context of the mirror monsters.
** In the World of Kuuga, the Unidentified Lifeform count indicates that this is early days for Yusuke Onodera. For context, the latest Gurongi is #9, whose original counterpart was KilledOffscreen prior to ''Kuuga's'' seventh episode. As well that, it also allows for Decade, Heisei Rider #10, to be mistaken for Unidentified Lifeform #10 by Yashiro.
** In contrast to the World of Kuuga, the World of Agito's Unidentified Lifeform count is in endgame levels, with nary a hint of Kuuga. For context, the three Gurongi who appear in this arc are labelled #47 to #49 respectively, while ''Kuuga's'' #47 was the last Gurongi to be labelled as such, only being killed in episode 46.
** [[Series/KamenRiderAgito AU!Shoichi]] becoming [[spoiler:a CompositeCharacter of all three leading Riders from ''Agito'' refers to the fact that the original Shoichi actually spent some time as G3-X, while his Agito Burning Form is a deliberately organic design meant to invoke Gills.]]
** In the World of Amazon, the Dai-Shocker monsters correspond with several Beastmen from the [[Series/KamenRiderAmazon original Geddon]]. [[Series/KamenRiderKuuga Gurongi Go-Jaraji-Da]] corresponds with Porcupine Beastman, [[Series/KamenRiderAgito Lord Propheta Cruentus]] corresponds with Mantis Beastman, [[Series/KamenRiderKabuto Camponotus Worm Maxilla]] corresponds with Ant Beastman, [[Series/KamenRiderHibiki Makamou Bakeneko]] corresponds with Black Cat Beastman and Makamou Yobuko corresponds primarily with Crocodile Beastman and, to a lesser extent, Snake Beastman.
** Also in the World of Amazon, there is a random moment where Eijiro appears holding a sunflower while wearing a gag mole nose with a sunflower at the end of it, claiming that he is Amazon's helper Mole Beastman[[note]]Mogura Jujin[[/note]] and going [[VerbalTic "chu-chu"]], a reference to the [[DefectorFromDecadence Mole Beastman]] from ''Amazon''.
** The title of episode 29, ''The Strong, Naked, Strong Guy'' [[note]]Tsuyokute Hadaka de Tsuyoi Yatsu[[/note]] is an allusion to the third episode of ''Series/KamenRiderAmazon'', ''The Strong, Naked, Fast Guy![[note]]Tsuyokute Hadaka de Hayai Yatsu![[/note]].
** Even the American adaptations get a little nod. In ''All Riders'', when all the Riders perform a Rider Kick, you can catch RX and Ryuki appear together in the same shot performing the kick - the two Rider series at the time that became localized in America.
*** In the same vein, the climax of ''The Last Story'' begins with the appearance of [[Film/KamenRiderZO Doras]] and a new [[Series/KamenRiderBlackRX Crisis Fortress]], both of which feature prominently in ''Saban's Series/MaskedRider''.

* ''Series/KamenRiderOOO''
** Pronouncing OOO as "Ōz", and the TronLines on the suit itself, are pretty obvious references to [[Series/KamenRiderFaiz 555/Faiz/Phi's]].
** An [[TheEveryman Everyman]] FallingIntoTheCockpit in ''Franchise/KamenRider''? [[Series/KamenRiderDenO Seen it]]. [[Series/KamenRiderRyuki Twice]]. Are we [[SignatureStyle seeing a pattern]] here?
** Uva, the insect Greeed, looks like a composite of [[Series/KamenRiderBlade the Joker suit and the Chalice suit]].
** RedRightHand, check. Former villain turned AntiHero who fights the bad guys to further his own interests, check. More than a human but not quite a Kamen Rider, check. Ankh is quickly shaping up to be the second coming of [[Series/KamenRiderV3 Riderman]].
*** Red skin, check. Teaming up with the hero for their own reasons, check. Possessing a human, check. Violent, check. Member of the main kaijin who isn't entirely evil, check. Getting beaten up by a black haired, super strong woman, check. Seems like Ankh would get along with a certain [[Series/KamenRiderDenO hotheaded Imagin]]. And wouldn't you know it, he's pretty much [[ButtMonkey at Hina's mercy]] starting from the end of #8. Later subverted as it's shown that he's undoubtedly a villain [[spoiler:until he finally gets that it sucks]].
** If Ankh was originally to be named Asshu, we'd have had [[Series/GoGoSentaiBoukenger an Eiji and an Ashu]]. Sorta.
** The main four villainous Greeed wear belts that almost look exactly like [[Series/KamenRider Rider 1/2's belt]], only grayed out. And when the Greeed are complete, said belts gain a golden center, similar to the belt of [[Series/KamenRiderKuuga Kuuga's Rising forms]].
** This wouldn't be the first time we've seen an [[Series/KamenRiderHibiki Izumi]] aiding a Rider.
** OOO's three-part Combo names are awfully reminiscent of the [[Series/KamenRiderKuuga Grongi]] (which neatly parallels their shared origin with the villains). For that matter, the one cat-based Greeed resembles the [[Series/KamenRiderAgito jaguar-based Unknowns]]. Both the Unknowns and the Yummy were designed by Yutaka Izubuchi.
** OOO's first use of [=GataKiriBa=]'s DoppelgangerAttack involves a one-man [[Series/KamenRiderDecade All Riders Kick]].
** The [[http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/4153/tajadoru.jpg TaJaDor]] Combo has [[Series/KamenRiderDouble FangJoker's eyes]] and [[Series/KamenRiderRyuki a coin-loading Visor]].
** Hina gives Eiji a red scarf in #17, a subtle nod to the standard ScarfOfAsskicking mostly older Riders have.
** The idea of making a monster from a person's desire or wish is similar to the Imagin of ''Series/KamenRiderDenO''.
** #21-22 deals with a "heroic" monster, so of course it uses the Grasshopper Yummy. Besides the general idea of an evil creation being used for good (albeit turning the concept on its head by not actually ''being'' good), it bears a strong resemblance to [[Film/ShinKamenRiderPrologue Shin]] and even says "[[Series/KamenRider Toh!]]" when it jumps.
** [=ShaUTa=] Combo has the ability to turn OOO into a liquid form. We've seen that before on ''Series/KamenRiderBlackRX'' with the Bio Rider form.
** The cover story Eiji cooks up for Ankh - he claims Ankh grew up alone in a haunted house, [[Series/KamenRiderKiva not much different from Wataru]].
** Dr Maki mentioning that "Birth" was a bad name for a Rider - considering his obsession with ''the end'', maybe his first choice for a name [[Series/KamenRiderDecade was already taken...]]
** Not only do the Candroids borrow their entire premise from the [[Series/KamenRiderHibiki Disc Animals]], but both have a red hawk among them.
** The Squid-Cat Yummy in #27-28 basically homages [=IkaDevil=] and [[Series/KamenRiderV3 Scissors Jaguar.]] And Maki's doll gains the same squeaking sound from a [[Series/KamenRiderDouble previous]] CreepyDoll.
** We get another instance of a dinosaur-based berserker Rider form that very nearly mauls the main female protagonist. Of course, while [[Series/KamenRiderDouble Philip and Shotaro]] managed to control [=FangJoker=], Eiji hasn't managed to control [=PuToTyra=] yet. [[spoiler:In #36, however, Eiji is in full control]].
** A subtle gag: Both users of Kamen Rider Birth differ in their combat philosophy, with one relying on power and the second relying on technique ([[spoiler:what with Date never bothering to read the manual and Goto liking manuals]]). The first was replaced by the second due to his injury. This all subtly references the [[Series/KamenRider original two Riders]]. It helps that Birth has a similar color scheme - bluish-green, black and silver, with eyes that light up red.
*** [[spoiler:Scans show that Date will return as Birth Prototype, which is basically the Birth suit with some red highlights, just like how the Kamen Rider 2 costume is mostly just Rider 1 with red gloves and boots]].
*** Only in ''Movie Wars Core'' do we see the Cell Medal that enters the Birth Driver dissipate after use, [[Series/KamenRiderDenO just like the Zeronos cards]].
** Complete Kazari looks like [[Series/KamenRiderDouble CycloneJokerXtreme]], what with his black/tiger stripe thirds color scheme, with a white band up the middle. His death scene also looks creepily like Kamen Rider Femme from the ''Series/KamenRiderRyuki'' movie.
** In ''Film/KamenRiderOOOWonderfulTheShogunAndThe21CoreMedals'', Eiji transforms into Birth, mirroring how [[Series/KamenRiderAgito Shouichi Tsugami briefly took on the mantle of [=G3-X=]]].
** TheReveal that the purple core medals [[spoiler:mutated Eiji after prolonged exposure mirrors that of [[Series/KamenRiderBlade Kazuma Kenzaki]]’s situation with King form]].
** OOO's Super [=TaToBa=] combo may be a nod to his predecessor Double's [=CycloneJokerExtreme=], since they're both upgraded versions of the Rider's default form.
* ''Series/KamenRiderFourze''
** The space theme for the Riders bear in mind of ''Series/KamenRiderSuper1''.
** Gentaro winding up with the belt due to Kengo's condition brings to mind Creator/HiroshiFujioka's well-documented GameBreakingInjury, which led to the creation of the second Kamen Rider. [[Series/KamenRiderOOO Not the only time it's been done, either...]]
** Speaking of which, the very first [=MotW=] has three circles in a row on its belt buckle. The TronLines are negligible though, since apparently all Zodiarts will depict their constellations this way.
*** The first [=MotW=] is Orion. Orion's Belt ([[CoincidenceMagnet made of three stars in a slant]]) is the most iconic aspect of the constellation.
*** The Pyxis Zodiarts has a disturbing resemblance to [[Series/KamenRiderOOO Uva]].
*** #21. While Fourze gets WolverineClaws apparently inspired from witnessing Series/KamenRiderOOO in action from his EarlyBirdCameo, Ohsugi gets a HomemadeSweaterFromHell that ''just happens to have'' a red right-arm sleeve.
*** And Fourze's arms-and-legs-weapons gimmick is similar to Birth.
** JK even has his own finger-salute representing the letters J and K. [[Film/KamenRiderJ We've seen the J before.]]
** Kengo carries out his own investigations to unmask the Chameleon Zodiarts, and winds up replicating ''Series/KamenRiderDouble'''s finger-point gesture.
*** Speaking of which, #7 has JK running from the MonsterOfTheWeek while yelling "[[LookBehindYou look, UFO! Abominable snowman!]]", calling back to Detective Jinno's focus episode.
*** In #17, Sonoda does [[Series/KamenRiderDouble Wakana Sonozaki's]] CharacterTic, complete with a close-up on her lips.
*** The [[http://i.imgur.com/5SCBS.jpg NS MagPhone]] UpgradeArtifact is designed to go into two Astro Switch ports simultaneously for [[http://i.imgur.com/RFALl.jpg Magnet States]], much like the Xtreme Memory.
** The gigantic explosions caused by powerful Zodiarts that can cause major damage call back to ''Series/KamenRiderKuuga''. The police dealing with the Hound Zodiarts - ineffectively - may also be a call back.
** The Beat switch delivers [[Series/KamenRiderHibiki a sound attack that even sounds like a drum.]]
*** The symbol for Haruka's gym in #21 has some similarities to the Hibiki logo.
*** Cosmic States' transformation involves Astro Switches combining into Fourze (with the Foodroid Switches ejecting from them) in a sequence evoking that of Armed Hibiki's transformation.
** A girl in #6 has [[Series/KamenRiderDenO New Den-O]]'s henshin sound as a ringtone.
** Fire States has [[Film/KamenRiderTheNext the ability to suck in all surrounding flames to empower itself.]]
** Gentaro does a point-blank fire shot in Fire States against the Perseus Zodiarts in #15, much like how [[Series/KamenRiderBlade Kamen Rider Garren]] and Series/KamenRiderDouble [[color:red:Heat]][[color:blue:Trigger]] form used such an attack. Interestingly, Meteor has a similar move in #18 via the "Mars" function on his [[PowerFist Meteor Galaxy]].
** Kamen Rider Meteor's support is named Tachibana in honor of Tobei Tachibana, who was an ally and mechanic to the first seven Showa Riders (from No. 1 to Stronger).
** When Ryusei activates the Meteor Driver for transformation, it says “Meteor, Ready?”, similar to how Kamen Rider [=IXA=]’s knuckle announces “Ready” when used for transformation.
** The storage room Kengo's locker is in also contains [[Series/KamenRiderKabuto Daisuke's guitar case]].
** The Lynx Zodiarts is a monster cat that can do bursts of superspeed. His look, the way he moves, ''everything'' makes him basically a repaint of the Smilodon Dopant.
** And Leo has WolverineClaws and wind attacks, basically making him Kazari. He also carries the Switches of defeated Horoscopes, just as Kazari once carried the Core Medals of some of the other Greeed.
** Not only is the Cygnus Zodiarts similar to both [[Series/KamenRiderDenO Seig]] and [[Series/KamenRiderKiva Ixa]], but the Cygnus cult meeting involves a ''Theatre/SwanLake'' ballet ''and'' an exercise ritual worthy of IXA-Cise. Towards the end of #23, Cygnus performs a kick that is very similar to the ''[[Series/KamenRiderDouble Fang Streiser.]]''
*** And the Giantfoot Module mimics the Kiva Dogga Form's FinishingMove in terms of concept.
** At the end of #24, when discussing Eguchi's hero-worship, Yuki does [[Series/KamenRiderOOO Eiji's henshin pose]].
*** From #33 onwards, Yuki gains a Hayabusa puppet that has apparently inherited the CreepyDoll FX from [[FanNickname Maki Jr]].
*** The Kamen Rider Girls make their second in-universe appearance in #26, after ''Shogun and the 21 Core Medals''.
** The Musca Zodiarts in #29 [[Series/KamenRiderKuuga develops new powers when his arms and legs turn green.]]

** Fourze's easy access to his Astro Switches when in Cosmic State involve pressing corresponding buttons somewhere on his person. It's like [[Series/KamenRiderDecade Complete Form]] all over again.
** JK's rock star ImagineSpot involves wearing his hair in one-sided cornrows - a style [[Series/KamenRiderOOO Ankh]] was known for. Adding a meta twist, [[http://www.jefusion.com/2011/12/ryosuke-miura-holds-first-live-solo.html Ankh's actor Ryosuke Miura actually had his own rock concert.]]
** Rocket State's FinishingMove, Tailspin Crusher, is an {{Homage}} to two of Rider 1's moves, the [[SpectacularSpinning Tailspin Shoot]] and [[UseYourHead Head Crusher]].
** #39-40 - the brainwashed Mooks of the AbsurdlyPowerfulStudentCouncil turn pale and gain {{Guyliner}}, which goes all the way back to ''Series/KamenRiderAmazon''.
*** Not as far back, but WellIntentionedExtremist Sugiura turning into Taurus mirrors ''Series/KamenRiderDecade'', when [[spoiler:Series/KamenRiderHibiki similarly lost sight of true justice, and]] also turned into a bull-like creature.
** #43 - Creepy dollon Yuki's front porch? Checked. Yuki's father? Checked. Yuki's parents love for cosplay and frequently change thier house's decor to satisfy different cultural themes? Checked. [[Series/KamenRiderOOO All of these seems familliar...]]
** [[spoiler:In final episode, Kengo is back as usual, thanks to Gamou which uses Aquarius Switch to use his all Cosmic Energy to repair the Core Switch, [[Series/KamenRiderDouble like Wakana who revived Philip with her own Gaia Impact]]]].
** Cosmic States' Rider Kick is surprisingly devoid of frills and even uses the right leg to deliver the kick instead of Fourze's usual left, making it designed to evoke the original Kamen Rider's kick. The attack is even simply named "Rider Kick" instead of Gentaro's usual elaborate names.
** Each of the names of the Kamen Rider Club's main members is a reference or SignificantAnagram of the name of one of the first six Showa Riders. This is referenced in ''Movie Wars Megamax'' where each member of the club cosplays as the rider their name is an anagram of, with Gentaro taking the spot of [[Series/KamenRiderStronger Kamen Rider Stronger]].
** The theme behind the Meteor Fusion switch can be considered a CallBack of sorts to [[Series/KamenRiderDouble Kamen Rider W]].
** In TheMovie, [[spoiler:the ''Kyodain'' characters' roles are reversed; in the original show the Kyodain were the heroes, while Black Knight and Gaburin Queen (Inga Blink's name is an anagram of hers) were villains. Of course, at first it looks like Inga and Black Knight are bad guys too...]]
*** It goes farther that Groundain and Skydain obviously being based on Grounzel and Skyzel. Not only is XVII based on Daitetsujin 17, it's pronounced "X-V-2" instead of "Seventeen," just as the original was pronounced "One Seven" as opposed to "Seventeen." The molecule-like machinery in its core is based on the design of a Daitetsujin 17 villain called Brain. Brain was once the human Professor Blink, just as Inga Blink's father's mind is the basis of XVII's brain. and its little helper robots are based on the large helper robot Gombess from Kyodain. (According to AllThereInTheManual, the robots are even called Gunbases.)
* ''Series/KamenRiderWizard''
** Wizard's forms are nearly similar to Series/KamenRiderKuuga. With some having the same color scheme and having upgrade version of their standard form. It helps that the guy who gave him the [=WizarDriver=] has a white/gold motif with an orange visor, similar to Kuuga's Growing Form.
** His mask is even reminiscent of Kuuga's logo.
** Wizard's origin being somehow related to a [[Series/KamenRiderBlack solar eclipse]].
** The [[FinishingMove rider kick]] in Flame Style bears some similarity to the [[Series/KamenRiderFaiz Crimson Smash]].
*** Untransformed, Haruto does a [[Series/KamenRider classic]] version of the Rider Kick in #16.
** His flying through three circles also makes it very much like a ''Series/KamenRiderOOO'' finisher.
*** Water Dragon style's finisher is rather similar to Putotyra's finisher, what with freezing the enemy and smashing them with a giant tail.
** Also, the catchphrase "It's showtime" similar with the ''Series/KamenRiderDecade'' version of [[Series/KamenRiderFaiz Psyga]] (though he said it in GratuitousEnglish, as the original Psyga spoke only English.)

*** All mobile phones used thus far are flip phones, just like Faiz's.
*** Both Riders' powers can only be used if they are biologically similar to their enemies.
** Beast consuming mana has the exact same sound as OOO [=PuToTyra=]'s Medagabryu consuming cell medals.
** Beast ''in general.'' Powered by a BondCreature that must be fed MonsterOfTheWeek energies lest you find yourself on the menu? [[Series/KamenRiderRyuki You don't say]].

** In #24, when Wizard was fighting Weretiger, Wizard dodges an attack from the Phantom, which destroys a certain statue of a hand holding a football, then Weretiger throws the statue remains at Wizard, who slashed it apart. The statue greatly resembles the one in Series/KamenRiderFourze that was made as a symbol of pride in Amanogawa High School (and destroyed by Shun in the Powerdizer). Guess they did Amanogawa High a favor.
** Episode #26, which takes place at a high school, has a ''Fourze''-style title, consisting of four symbols.
** Spriggan Phantom from #28-29 is not only [[Series/KamenRiderDouble two-colored down the middle, and uses a sword and shield but he will count up your... errors in judgement.]]
