Long Title has been disambiguated

* LongTitle: Many of their albums have ridiculously long names. Even their own name qualifies, so much that most just refer to them by abbreviations.

* EpicRocking: The vast majority of their output is over 6 minutes in length, with half of their songs being over 8 minutes and fair chunk of those breaching the 10-minute mark. Only one of their albums is under an hour long, and many of them even approach ''80 minutes'' in length.

* DoingItForTheArt: Their sound is very unconventional compared to other death metal bands (long songs, inclusion of female clean vocals, numerous guests, etc.), but Lord K certainly achieves what he aims for with them. They have repeatedly been described as his "idea of musical perfection", with no intention of going beyond cult status.

* StrictlyFormula: For the most part, if you turn on a Project Hate album, you know what you're getting. Bombastic epic death metal with symphonic and industrial elements, female clean vocal segments to add to the melody, extremely long songs, anti-religious lyrics, groovy portions, electronic breakdowns, and occasionally a guest appearance.

* DigitalPiracyIsEvil: Lord K repeatedly expresses his distaste for pirating music. This got to the point that upon the release of ''Spewing Venom'', digital downloads were locked behind a link sent out to fans who bought it to prevent it from leaking too soon.

The Project Hate MCMXCIX are a Swedish DeathMetal band with {{Industrial}} influences that was formed in 1998 by Lord K. Philipson and Jorgen Sandstrom. They recorded a demo with the help of Dan Swano in the winter of that same year. After recording 3 tracks and sending them out to various studios, they were signed by Massacre Records (based in Germany) in 1999. Afterwards, they acquired female vocalist Mia Stahl and began recording their debut album, which was released worldwide in 2000.

Since then, they have gone through several second guitarists, bassists, drummers and female vocalists, though the two founding members remain. Their most recent album was ''There Is No Earth I Will Leave Unscorched'', released independently in 2014.
