* AssShove: He went for a colonoscopy, and while the doctors kept trying to knock him out [[ImmuneToDrugs and failing]], he was watching the display and commented that it was "like [[TedNugent Journey to the Centre of]] [[IncrediblyLamePun My Arse]]!"
* AuthorExistenceFailure: Randy Rhoads's death.

* BerserkButton: He used to have some chickens, back when he was with his first wife. Said chickens never laid any eggs. One night, after having not slept for 24 hours, and doped up on cocaine and booze, the button was finally pressed, leading to one of the most [[CrowningMomentOfFunny hilariously twisted]] moments in his book.

* BritishAccents: He has a very thick Brummie accent that is part of the reason he's so hard to understand when he speaks- the other reason being he's completely and utterly brainfried from so many years of hardcore drug abuse... though older videos prove he's almost always been TheUnintelligible, even when sober, due to his accent.

** InTheStyleOf: Osbourne-Dweezil-Zappa, doing "[[BeeGees Staying Alive]]".
* CreativeDifferences: He fired Zakk Wylde because he felt that Zakk's songwriting was beginning to make his songs sound like BlackLabelSociety and Ozzy wasn't too happy about that. This prompted him to fire Zakk, albeit on friendly terms. Ozzy's also said this is why he's never worked with Rick Rubin. Rubin wanted to make a heavier, Sabbathy album while Ozzy wants to get away from that. This was also part of the wedge between Ozzy and Sabbath. Ozzy just wanted to make straight up rock music while Sabbath were experimenting with jazz and strings.
* CreatorBreakdown: Had one coupled with a HeroicBSOD when his [[HeterosexualLifePartners heterosexual life partner]] Randy Rhoads died in a plane crash. He shaved his head to avoid going on stage (his wife/manager made him go on anyway wearing a wig) and eventually [[DrivenToSuicide tried to]] [[GoodbyeCruelWorld kill himself]]. [[CaptainObvious Obviously]], he failed.
* CreatorCouples: Ozzy and his wife Sharon.

* DyeHard: Used to be, anyway. In the 70s his hair was his natural brown. In the 80s he dyed it blonde. Back to brown for the 90s, then when The Osbournes surfaced in 2002 he'd dyed it black with red streaks. It's brown as of 2010, but we'll have to wait and see if it stays that way.

* HeterosexualLifePartners: First with Randy Rhoads (until he died), then later with Zakk Wylde. Ozzy and Zakk have been close friends ever since Ozzy hired him in 1987, despite Zakk getting fired from the band twice. Ozzy is also very close with the drummer from BlackSabbath, Bill Ward.

* OneOfUs: Blizzard Entertainment hired him for a commercial for WorldOfWarcraft. He likes it. They gave him his own character model.

* SickeninglySweethearts: For all the craziness in their marriage, it's pretty clear Ozzy and Sharon really do love each other. And they are not afraid of showing it. As opposed to being [[TastesLikeDiabetes diabetes-inducing]], it's just sweet enough to be [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther absolutely]] [[HappilyMarried adorable.]] The video for his cover of "[[TheBeatles In My Life]]" is even dedicated to her.

** Specifically, the song is about televangelist Jimmy Swaggart, who had been caught in a prostitution scandal that same year.

* EpicRiff: "Crazy Train", "Diary of a Madman", "Mr. Crowley", "Bark At The Moon", "Perry Mason", "I Don't Wanna Change The World", "Miracle Man", "No More Tears"...

* EvenEvilHasStandards: Not in the usual way, but he was kicked out of Music/BlackSabbath for his drug and alcohol use. Really, when a heavy metal band in the 1970's thinks you're overdoing those, you know you have a problem.
** Especially when that band is Music/BlackSabbath.

* SerialKiller: The song "No More Tears" is about a serial killer who kidnaps strippers, has sex with them, then tortures and kills them.

*** Later played for laughs when they appeared together in a self-parody mobile phone commercial, staring Bieber as Ozzy's replacement. Also a take that to the phone industry, as the phones being advertised climb in "G" ratings while filming, with the commercial ending on Ozzy exclaiming, "I still don't know what a G is."

* LegalDrug: Ozzy says the only drugs he's on nowadays are a mild prescription medication to control what his doctors call a "Parkinsonian tremor", and lots of coffee. He even noted in an 2010 ''Guitar World'' interview that "If they ever outlaw coffee, I'm fucked."

* TheCameo: He appeared briefly in ''LittleNicky'' and sung in {{Motorhead}}'s "I Ain't No Nice Guy" and Slash's "Crucify The Dead".

* YokoOhNo: Sharon Osbourne used to avert this, since she was responsible for the success of the solo career of her husband, but nowadays, she plays this straight. Ask IronMaiden.

* ImmuneToDrugs: To the point where he's having his genome mapped to figure out how he's still alive. The Oxford project that did so found several genes that allow him to metabolize opiates and alcohol far more efficiently than most humans.

* MadeOfIron / MadeOfIndestructium: Probably Ozzy's brain and liver. Nobody's really quite sure how they both lasted for more than 35 years of hardcore drug abuse and alcoholism.
