Lock ran out. Also Rin dying in the yellow phosphorous song is in the very beginning—that can't be a spoiler.

Reincarnation in the series doesn't work that way. The only reason people look like their ancestors is a genetics thing in universe which is mothy's way of excusing the fact that people in certain family lines are often played by the same Vocaloid. Such as Gammon looking like Venomania and they're both played by Gakupo. It's really only Hansel and Gretel (because they're gods), Conchita (because she became the new demon of Gluttony after eating it), and Allen (because he became the Master of the Heavenly Yard) who legitimately reincarnate. And this has next to nothing to do with demonic possession. As said before, anyone can be possessed—these people are just more likely to come in contact with the demons than others.
