The first half of the album was recorded in the studio and features Jeff Beck. The songs on the first half consists of many of their biggest hit singles and [[ignatureSong Signature Songs]]. As such, this album is often cited - usually in competition with ''Roger The Engineer'' and to a lesser extent ''Five Live Yardbirds'' - as the band's MagnumOpus.
