* The SpinOff novel ''Gundam Wing G Unit'' brings us:
** Dr. Berg who is a MadScientist suffering from a terminal case of ChronicBackstabbingDisorder who is willing to betray and murder in order to complete his research and create the most powerful Gundams ever, as he takes pride and joy in inventing newer and newer ways for humans to kill each other. He has no regard at all for human lives and only considers people as guinea pigs for him to toy with. It is also revealed later on that he arranged for the death of Dr. Burnett and his wife, the parents of series protagonists Odin and Odel, in order to divert fundings from their research to his own weapon manufacturing...and the reveal sends Odel, who is normally quite TheStoic, into an UnstoppableRage and drives him to kill Berg. Unfortunately, the mad doc initiates a SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum and activates his Grand Shirio's doomsday program to destroy the colonies and drop itself on Earth to pollute it with its nuclear engines.
** [[BigBad Valdor Farkill]], the imaginatively [[RedBaron nicknamed]] "[[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast Black General of Death]]. A megalomaniacal madman who believes it his destiny to fight a battle to the death against AntiVillain Treize Khushraneda, Farkill gets off on butchering enemy troops. He executes a member of his QuirkyMinibossSquad because he has [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness outlived his usefulness]], blows up several civillian shuttles filled with refugees ForTheEvulz, and betrays and murders his CoDragons, the {{tykebomb}}s Solys and Luna the moment it suits his purposes. An utter jackass, Farkill is the only military officer in the After Colony Era who can match {{mad scientist}}s like Tsubarov and Berg for sheer evil.

* ''GundamWing'' is perhaps the lightest of the series, with most of the villains being {{Well Intentioned Extremist}}s, being too pathetic to qualify, or being out and out {{antivillain}}s. None of those things can be said about the Romefeller Foundation's [[MadScientist Chief Engineer]], [[AxeCrazy Ken]] [[WarForFunAndProfit Tsubarov]]. A loud, abrasive {{jerkass}}, with NoIndoorVoice and a HairTriggerTemper, Tsubarov eventually reveals himself as a BloodKnight by proxy who enjoys watching his [[KillerRobot Mobile Dolls]] slaughter enemy soldiers a tad more than is healthy, supporting DiscOneFinalBoss Duke Dermail [[PsychoSupporter in the hopes that the latter will trigger an enormous war]] for his Dolls to show off their skills in. When [[TheBaroness Lady Une]], a major supporter of his project, reveals that she likes the automated Mobile Dolls because they will cut down on human casualties, Tsubarov turns on her--he wants his Dolls to have the chance to kill people, and plenty of them. When the White Fang rebellion reaches the colonies, Tsubarov betrays Une, seizing control of the colonies, attempting to murder the captive Gundam pilots by cutting off their oxygen, and gunning Une down when she tries to interfere. He proceeds to improve his Dolls, and begins construction of the KillSat[=/=][[TheBattlestar Battlestar]] ''Libra'' for his boss. When the rebels come for him, Tsubarov finally snaps, undergoes a huge VillainousBreakdown, and turns his Dolls loose on the civillian population, causing the collapse of an entire research facility, ranting like a madman the entire time about how, through them, he will achieve invincibility.

A cold, [[ManipulativeBastard Machiavellian]] personality who fully believes that DespotismJustifiesTheMeans, Gihren doesn't [[LackOfEmpathy care about anyone's lives]], including those of his own family members, and is willing to do anything to achieve WorldDomination. He takes [[ANaziByAnyOtherName being compared to]] AdolfHitler as ''[[InsultBackfire a compliment]]'', turns his little brother's funeral into a political rally while the rest of his family looks on in horror, preaches a MasterRace philosophy (that he doesn't buy into himself), uses a ColonyDrop to exterminate vast swathes of earth's population, [[DeadlyGas deploys chemical weapons]] against the [[{{hypocrite}} very colonies he claims to be liberating]], and later [[spoiler:{{Wave Motion Gun}}s ''[[SelfMadeOrphan his own father]]'' and [[BigGood General Revil]] into oblivion just so they won't reach an armistice]], never displaying any emotions beyond self-satisfaction and contempt. When his sister [[BadassPrincess Kycilia]] ([[WeHaveReserves no]] [[TheBaroness angel]] [[EvilGenius herself]]) [[EvenEvilHasStandards confronts him about what he's done]], Gihren's [[SmugSnake sneeringly offhanded disregard]] for her anger cements his status as an utterly hollow [[TheSociopath psychopath]]. Had he won, he admits that he would have reduced the earth's population to less than a billion and kept it that way so that they could never rise up against him. Sidestories like ''[[MobileSuitGundamThe08thMSTeam The 08th MS Team]]'' and ''ThePlotToAssassinateGihren'' only add to his list of crimes--he was TheManBehindTheMan to MadScientist Ginias Sahalin and his [[WeaponsOfMassDestruction Apsalus Project]], and arranged (through his secretary, [[TheDragon Cecilia Irene]]) two elaborate false assassination plots with himself as the supposed victim in order to frame Kycilia and garner public support for clamping down on his political opposition. When Det. David Schiller became an UnwittingPawn in one of these schemes, he was [[UngratefulBastard rewarded]] by seeing his entire family (members of the anti-Zabi faction) imprisoned or executed. And that's without getting into the implication that he may have had his [[CainAndAbel brother]] Saslo assassinated for being more popular with the public than he was.
* ''{{Gundam 0080}}'' stands out among ''{{Gundam}}'' series as the one with the most GreyAndGrayMorality, and yet it does have one Complete Monster, [[InsaneAdmiral Colonel]] [[SmugSnake Killing]], the high-ranking Gihren loyalist (and Gihren {{expy}}) who took part in [[{{Gundamjack}} Operation Rubicon]]. His name [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast should be a dead giveaway]], but just for the lowdown: this bastard deliberately sabotaged Operation Rubicon (which revolved around stealing or destroying the new [[SuperPrototype Alex Gundam]]), causing the death of the whole Cyclops Team (only NewMeat Bernard Wiseman survived, and only because he got lucky). And he did that just to give his superiors an excuse to destroy the civilian colony of Side 6 with [[NukeEm nuclear weapons]]. He's also a firm believer in WeHaveReserves, KlingonPromotion and ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill. When his commander overrides the order to destroy Side 6, Killing shoots him dead and usurps control of the operation, ordering the nukes launched, and prompting [[spoiler:Bernie's suicidal attack on the Gundam Alex in the hopes of heading off the strike]]. [[spoiler:Luckily, the attack fails thanks to a timely intervention of the Earth Federation forces]], but all the suffering the protagonists of this mini-series go through can [[BigBad ultimately be traced back to him]].

** Glemmy Toto [[SmugSnake was never]] [[TheStarscream a nice person]], at least in the anime, he gets enough characterization and is [[LaughablyEvil funny]] and [[BunnyEarsLawyer quirky]] enough to neatly avoid this trope. In the manga's AlternateContinuity, though, his evilness is cranked UpToEleven. He doesn't even start out sympathetic and is immediately shown to be coldly manipulating [[{{Tykebomb}} Puru]] and treating her as nothing more than a weapon to be used against his enemies (complete with a horrific description of the poor girl's brainwashing). When Puru does her HeelFaceTurn, Glemmy tries to [[YouHaveFailedMe kill her himself]]. And during the desert arc, Glemmy orders his men to destroy a defenceless village just to draw out [[TheProtagonist Judau Ashta]] and his friends ([[spoiler:which leads to Puru's death at the hands of her EvilTwin, Puru-2]]). And that's before he [[spoiler:betrays Haman Khan and triggers a devastating EnemyCivilWar.]] The fact that he idolises Gihren Zabi, the series' original CM, goes a long way towards explaining how he turned out.

* The SpinOff novel ''GundamWingGUnit'' brings us:

** And BigBad Valdor Farkill, [[RedBaron the Black General of Death]], so nicknamed for his skill in battle and for the enthusiasm he puts forth in slaughtering entire companies of enemy soldiers. He estabilishes himself soon after his introduction by coldly disposing of Broom Brooks - the third member of the QuirkyMinibossSquad - just because [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness he had outlived his usefulness]], and then by blowing up several shuttles filled with civilian refugees ''[[ForTheEvulz just because]]''. And he gets progressively worse, to the point that, by the time he [[spoiler:betrays and kills his loyal henchwomen, TykeBomb sisters Solys and Luna]], he has already estabilished himself as the most despicable villain in the After Colony era. He's also an extreme megalomaniac who believes it is his destiny to fight and kill WellIntentionedExtremist AntiVillain Treize Kushrenada, for no better reason than a desire to be forever remembered in history books.

An {{expy}} of ''Zeta'''s Yazan Gable, Rakan is, like his inspiration, a brutal, nigh-unkillable BloodKnight with a [[IFightForTheStrongestSide tenuous grasp of personal loyalty]], albeit with some actual command talent thrown in. Cold-blooded and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, Rakan is not above harming civilians. This is best demonstrated in Episode 35, where he impassively guns down hospital ships and evacuation craft fleeing the Dublin ColonyDrop, in order to make sure that nobody escapes the blast radius. He kills longtime ''Gundam'' veteran [[spoiler:Hayato Kobayashi]] when the latter tries to stop him, and following his defection from Haman's forces willingly kills many of his old comrades, including [[spoiler:AntiVillain Mashmyre Cello]] and [[spoiler:Royal Guardsman, Lance]] before [[spoiler:being stopped by Judau]].

* Muruta Azrael from ''GundamSEED'', leader of the [[WesternTerrorists terrorist organization]] [[MugglePower Blue Cosmos]], who wants to [[FinalSolution kill all]] [[GattacaBabies Coordinators]] (people created via genetic engineering) by [[WeaponsOfMassDestruction any means necessary]] and takes [[LaughingMad unholy delight]] in their wholesale slaughter. He's also [[HeManWomanHater misogynistic]], [[ManChild childish]], [[SmugSnake smug]], arrogant, condescending, and [[PsychopathicManchild enthusiastically psychotic]]. He believes entirely that his subordinates [[WeHaveReserves are expendable]] and willingly sacrifices millions of them just to see all the Coordinators [[NukeEm burn]]. A SoreLoser and a raging {{hypocrite}} who uses [[PsychoSerum drugs]] and brainwashing to turn children into {{Tykebomb}} {{Super Soldier}}s, (referred to as the Extended) while claiming that genegineering is a sin (it's heavily implied that this is a case of DrivenByEnvy), Azrael is also TheManBehindTheMan to both the [[{{Eagleland}} Atlantic Federation]] and the Earth Alliance Forces, whom he manages to corrupt with his FantasticRacism, and goes out of his way to make sure that neutral nations are coopted or destroyed. Having returned Blue Cosmos to its terrorist roots, he has his minions perform horrible experiments on children (whom he then brainwashed into {{tykebomb}}s), opens the war with a [[NukeEm nuclear assault]] on the colonies, looses the [[WeaponsOfMassDestruction Destroy]] on Eurasia (leading to the deaths of thousands, if not millions, of civilians and the burning of Berlin), personally kills over a million innocents with a WaveMotionGun (while bragging about having the guts to do something like this) and is responsible for [[spoiler:turning [[BigBrotherMentor Mu La Flaga]] into [[CriminalAmnesiac Neo Roanoke]]]]. He exploits the tragedy of the Junius 7 ColonyDrop to start another war, and form a new anti-Coordinator alliance, keeps up Azrael's horrible treatment of the Extended, using PsychoSerum addiction (with fatal withdrawal symptoms) and mental rewrites to maintain their loyalty, and continues the practise of raising kids to be the [[BrainwashedAndCrazy indoctrinated soldiers]] mentioned in ''Stargazer''. Convinced that his own survival is paramount above all else, Djibril [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere regularly abandons his allies when the going gets tough]], and entertains plans of [[TakeOverTheWorld ruling the world]] when the war is over. Essentially what happens when you give someone with the personality of a low-functioning [[TheSociopath sociopath]] and [[TheBully jumped-up school bully]] access to unlimited resources and technology, Djibril reacts to every problem with greater and greater amounts of brute force and indiscriminate murder, as he tries to simultaneously hang onto his position of power and [[FinalSolution bring down the curtain on the Coordinators as a race]]. He's a combination of [[HairTriggerTemper impotent rage]] and [[DirtyCoward cowardice]], but with the [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney money]], [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections influence]], and total immorality to make him horrifying instead of merely pathetic.

He [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown beats the tar]] out of [[TheGoodCaptain Captain Bright]] for opposing to his orders (leading to the latter's defection), then has Kamille Bidan's mother, Hilda, put in a capsule in outer space ''without a spacesuit'' in order to retrieve the Gundams stolen by the AEUG, and orders one of his men to shoot at it, after telling the man in question that it's a bomb, leading to her horrendous and [[TearJerker heart-wrenching]] death. If that weren't bad enough, he subsequently orders two massive [[DeadlyGas colony gassings]]. This is on top of being the man responsible for the Titans' brutal treatment of the colonies in the first place, favouring the seizure and murder of hostages to get people to go along with his plans, and being a major proponent of the use of [[{{Tykebomb}} Cyber-Newtypes]], teenage {{super soldier}}s created through MindRape and a cocktail of PsychoSerum. [[AntiVillain Jerid Messa]], [[SmugSnake Gady Kinsey]], and even BigBad [[ManipulativeBastard Paptimus]] [[MindRape Scirocco]] all find him thoroughly distasteful, and it's one of the Titans, [[spoiler:[[FaceHeelTurn former]] CoolBigSis Reccoa Londe, who finally [[EvenEvilHasStandards kills him in the end]]]].
* While ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamZZ Gundam ZZ]]'''s Glemmy Toto [[SmugSnake was never]] [[TheStarscream a nice person]], at least in the anime, he gets enough characterization and is [[LaughablyEvil funny]] and [[BunnyEarsLawyer quirky]] enough to neatly avoid this trope. In the manga's AlternateContinuity, though, his evilness is cranked UpToEleven. He doesn't even start out sympathetic and is immediately shown to be coldly manipulating [[{{Tykebomb}} Puru]] and treating her as nothing more than a weapon to be used against his enemies (complete with a horrific description of the poor girl's brainwashing). And during the desert arc, Glemmy orders his men to destroy a defenceless village just to draw out Judau and his friends ([[spoiler:which leads to Puru's death at the hands of her EvilTwin, Puru-2]]). The fact that he idolises Gihren Zabi, the series' original CM, goes a long way towards explaining how he turned out.

He kills longtime ''Gundam'' veteran [[spoiler:Hayato Kobayashi]] when the latter tries to stop him, and following his defection from Haman's forces willingly kills many of his old comrades, including [[spoiler:AntiVillain Mashmyre Cello]] and [[spoiler:Royal Guardsman, Lance]] before [[spoiler:being stopped by Judau]].

* The SpinOff novel ''GundamWingGUnit'' brings us Dr. Berg who is a MadScientist suffering from a terminal case of ChronicBackstabbingDisorder who is willing to betray and murder in order to complete his research and create the most powerful Gundams ever, as he takes pride and joy in inventing newer and newer ways for humans to kill each other. He has no regard at all for human lives and only considers people as guinea pigs for him to toy with. [[spoiler:It is also revealed later on that he arranged for the death of Dr. Burnett and his wife, the parents of series protagonists Odin and Odel, in order to divert fundings from their research to his own weapon manufacturing...and the reveal sends Odel, who is normally quite TheStoic, into an UnstoppableRage and drives him to kill Berg. Unfortunately, the mad doc initiates a SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum and activates his Grand Shirio's doomsday program to destroy the colonies and drop itself on Earth to pollute it with its nuclear engines. Odin barely manages to avert disaster.]]

* ''{{Gundam 00}}'''s [[WarForFunAndProfit Ali Al-Saachez]] exists solely to make the world a much worse place. A self-admitted PsychoForHire who flat out states that he's "[[CardCarryingVillain the worst kind of person there is]]," Ali will do anything if the pay is right. He raised an army of {{Child Soldier}}s while in Krugis, convincing them that every act of terrorism they committed, (including murdering their own parents) was being done in the name of God--a God that Ali does not believe in; he was in it for the money. During the course of the show he proceeds to [[HeroKiller kill off a sizeable number of characters]], including [[spoiler:Lockon I]], [[spoiler:supposed allies Michael and Johan Trinity]], and [[spoiler:Kinue Crossroad]], singlehandedly burn down a country, and aid an AncientConspiracy in a successful bid to TakeOverTheWorld. He even goes out a bastard, dying while trying to [[InTheBack backstab]] a man who had [[UngratefulBastard just spared]] [[ISurrenderSuckers his life]]. Ali is inordinately proud of his worst acts and brags about them whenever he has a captive audience ("See that kid? Somebody kidnapped him, raped his mind, and turned him into a child soldier." That someone, was me!"); it says a lot about his character that he actually finds empathy ''[[LackOfEmpathy disgusting]]''.

Almost all of the above-mentionted atrocities that Ali Al-Saachez commits--razing Azadistan, murdering the Trinity siblings (whom Ribbons genegeneered in the first place), attempting to kill all the members of Celestial Being--were done on Ribbons' orders, and once he's ruler of the world, he ''really'' comes into his own, ruthlessly manipulating Louise Halevy (a horribly unstable DarkActionGirl) into becoming his pawn, forcing ManchurianAgent Anew Returner into a battle to the death with her LoveInterest, using the [[StateSec A-Laws]] to crush anyone who gets in his way, and utilising a KillSat to murder thousands of people. Why does he do this? Because it's his way of stroking his own inflated ego. In general he's less a character and more the superiority complex that walks like a man.

He [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown beats the tar]] out of [[TheGoodCaptain Captain Bright]] for opposing to his orders (leading to the latter's defection), then has Kamille Bidan's mother, Hilda, put in a capsule in outer space ''without a spacesuit'' in order to retrieve the Gundams stolen by the AEUG, and orders one of his men to shoot at it, after telling the man in question that it's a bomb, leading to her horrendous and [[TearJerker heart-wrenching]] death. If that weren't bad enough, he subsequently orders two massive [[DeadlyGas colony gassings]]. This is on top of being the man responsible for the Titans' brutal treatment of the colonies in the first place, favouring the seizure and murder of hostages to get people to go along with his plans, and being a major proponent of the use of [[{{Tykebomb}} Cyber-Newtypes]], teenage {{super soldier}}s created through MindRape and a cocktail of PsychoSerum. [[AntiVillain Jerid Messa]], [[SmugSnake Gady Kinsey]], and even BigBad [[ManipulativeBastard Paptimus]] [[MindRape Scirocco]] all find him thoroughly distasteful, and it's one of the Titans, [[spoiler:[[FaceHeelTurn former]] CoolBigSis Reccoa Londe, who finally [[EvenEvilHasStandards kills him in the end]]]].

** The original show, in the meantime, has Axis-Zeon AcePilot [[ScaryBlackMan Rakan]] [[ColonelKilgore Dahkaran]]. An {{expy}} of ''Zeta'''s Yazan Gable, Rakan is, like his inspiration, a brutal, nigh-unkillable BloodKnight with a [[IFightForTheStrongestSide tenuous grasp of personal loyalty]], albeit with some actual command talent thrown in. Cold-blooded and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, Rakan is not above harming civilians. This is best demonstrated in Episode 35, where he impassively guns down hospital ships and evacuation craft fleeing the Dublin ColonyDrop, in order to make sure that nobody escapes the blast radius. He kills longtime ''Gundam'' veteran [[spoiler:Hayato Kobayashi]] when the latter tries to stop him, and following his defection from Haman's forces willingly kills many of his old comrades, including [[spoiler:AntiVillain Mashmyre Cello]] and [[spoiler:Royal Guardsman, Lance]] before [[spoiler:being stopped by Judau]].

** ''GundamSEEDDestiny'''s sidestory, ''CE 73: Stargazer'' adds some further atrocities to Azrael's name, showing that he made a regular practise of taking children from their parents, putting them through TrainingFromHell and [[BrainwashedAndCrazy brainwashing them]] with anti-Coordinator propaganda in an effort at creating pilots who could match Coordinators in combat, without the [[PsychoSerum drug problems]] of the Extended. When one of the instructors protests the treatment of the children, Azrael shrugs it off. The results of the program all share Azrael's fantastic racism and drive for genocide, while being emotionally scarred at best and psychopathic at the worst.

In the manga's AlternateContinuity, though, his evilness is cranked UpToEleven. He doesn't even start out sympathetic and is immediately shown to be coldly manipulating [[{{Tykebomb}} Puru]] and treating her as nothing more than a weapon to be used against his enemies (complete with a NightmareFuel worthy description of the poor girl's brainwashing). When Puru does her HeelFaceTurn, Glemmy tries to [[YouHaveFailedMe kill her himself]]. And during the desert arc, Glemmy orders his men to destroy a defenceless village just to draw out Judau and his friends ([[spoiler:which leads to Puru's death at the hands of her EvilTwin, Puru-2]]). The fact that he idolises Gihren Zabi, the series' original CM, goes a long way towards explaining how he turned out.

* Muruta Azrael from ''GundamSEED'', leader of the [[WesternTerrorists terrorist organization]] Blue Cosmos, who wanted to [[FinalSolution kill all]] [[GattacaBabies Coordinators]] (people created via genetic engineering) by [[WeaponsOfMassDestruction any means necessary]] and took [[LaughingMad unholy delight]] in their wholesale slaughter. He's also [[HeManWomanHater misogynistic]], [[ManChild childish]], [[SmugSnake smug]], arrogant, condescending, and [[PsychopathicManchild enthusiastically psychotic]]. He believes entirely that his subordinates [[WeHaveReserves are expendable]] and would willingly sacrifice thousands and millions of them just to see all the Coordinators [[NukeEm burn]]. A SoreLoser and a raging {{hypocrite}} who uses [[PsychoSerum drugs]] and brainwashing to turn children into {{Tykebomb}} {{Super Soldier}}s, (referred to as the Extended) while claiming that genegineering is a sin (it's heavily implied that this is a case of DrivenByEnvy), Azrael is also TheManBehindTheMan to both the [[{{Eagleland}} Atlantic Federation]] and the Earth Alliance Forces, whom he manages to corrupt with his FantasticRacism, and goes out of his way to make sure that neutral nations are coopted or destroyed. Having started the war by launching a nuclear assault on the Coordinator homeland, Azrael hopes to [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill end it the same way]]. The sheer hatefulness of his plan is only reinforced by the FreudianExcuse he uses to justify himself (he was bullied by Coordinators when he was a kid. [[EvilIsPetty Yeah,]] [[DisproportionateRetribution that's about it]]), and his eventual VillainousBreakdown is a source of NightmareFuel. He manages to make the series' actual BigBad (a ranting OmnicidalManiac) look [[WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds downright sympathetic]] in comparison, and he's so utterly vile that he causes hardline SergeantRock Natarle Badgiruel to pull a HeelFaceTurn.

[[spoiler: And previous to his final fight with Seabook Arno in TheMovie, Iron Mask used his mobile suit's hands to grab his own daughter, Cecily, and ''throw her out in space'' when she questioned him. Luckily, her spacesuit saved her life.]]

* Decil Galette of ''GundamAGE'' is what happens when you take the EnfanteTerrible trope and turn it UpToEleven. A seven-year old BloodKnight and Vagan AcePilot when first introduced, Decil sees war as a game, and his victims as nothing more than expendable toys. As the pilot of the Zedas, he spearheads genocidal attacks on colonies, and is implied to be the one who orphaned Yurin L’Ciel. He subsequently {{Gundamjack}}s the AGE-1, and tests out its capabilities by butchering his own allies. He later captures Yurin, puts her inside of a remote-controlled mobile suit, and forces her to attack her LoveInterest, Flit. When Yurin tries to fight off his control, [[spoiler:Decil kills her, while laughing about how she was “just a plaything.”]] That’s all in the First Generation. By the Second Generation, he’s thirty-three years old and has, if anything, gotten worse. Deeply resentful of his younger brother [[{{Antivillain}} Zeheart]] for being promoted past him, he takes more and more insane risks. This ultimately leads to getting most of [[EliteMooks the Magicians Eight]] killed as a part of a grudge match against Flit and murdering [[spoiler:Flit's friend, and Flit's son Asemu's mentor, Woolf]]. It gets to the point where [[NobleDemon Zeheart]], realizing what his brother has become, [[spoiler:leaves Decil to die at Asemu’s hands in the aftermath of a losing battle]].

* Major Nomoa Long from ''[[Anime/AfterWarGundamX Gundam X]]''. A former scientist for the Space Revolutionary Army, he was dumped on Earth by his superiors following the [[AfterTheEnd devastating aftermath]] of the war and began plotting revenge against them. While this is at least understandable, the extremes he goes to in his pursuit of vengeance are downright depraved - his plan was to use the Fort Severn laboratories to create a strong enough Artificial Newtypes (and we know how [[TykeBomb those]] [[WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds unfortunate people]] [[MindRape are created]] and how [[AxCrazy unstable]] they usually end up becoming) in order to power up the Patulia, a nightmarish Mobile Armor that is PoweredByAForsakenChild: this horror needed a [[PsychicPowers Newtype]] (who ended up being Artificial Newtype Carris Nautilus) to be used as its power source, and [[MindRape it would slowly and painfully erase the victim's mind]], turning him or her into nothing more than one of the Patulia's own components. Does Nomoa care about any of this? No, he just wants the Patulia to destroy all those who have wronged him somehow, and he will sacrifice anyone to achieve that.

The name itself [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast should be a dead giveaway]], but just for the lowdown: this bastard deliberately sabotaged Operation Rubicon, causing the death of the whole Cyclops Team (only NewMeat Bernard Wiseman survived, and only because he got lucky). And he did that just to give his superiors an excuse to destroy the civilian colony of Side 6 with [[NukeEm nuclear weapons]]. He's also a firm believer in WeHaveReserves, KlingonPromotion and ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill. When his commander overrides the order to destroy Side 6, Killing shoots him dead and usurps control of the operation, ordering the nukes launched, and prompting [[spoiler:Bernie's suicidal attack on the Gundam Alex in the hopes of heading off the strike]]. [[spoiler:Luckily, the attack fails thanks to a timely intervention of the Earth Federation forces]], but all the suffering the protagonists of this mini-series go through can [[BigBad ultimately be traced back to him]].

* ''Anime/MobileSuitVictoryGundam'' has [[EvilOldFolks Fonse Kagatie]]. The [[EvilChancellor Prime Minister]] of the [[TheEmpire Zanscare Empire]], he cynically exploited the [[TheMessiah messianic]] [[TelepathicSpacemen Newtype]] Maria Armonia's harmless pacifist cult to create a brutal military dictatorship, with Maria as his [[PuppetKing powerless figurehead]]. Whilst, as the de facto ruler of Zanscare, he was responsible for green-lighting all of its atrocities (which included the mass execution of dissidents by [[OffWithHisHead guillotine]], [[RapePillageAndBurn burning entire towns]] to flush out [[LaResistance the League Militaire]], and genocide by [[ImprobableWeaponUser giant motorbike]]), his worst act by far was creating and deploying the Angel Halo. The FinalSolution to Zanscare's war with the Earth Federation, the Halo was a psychic DoomsdayDevice designed to wipe out all intelligent life on Earth via MindRape, allowing Kagatie's empire to move in and take the planet unopposed. For extra evil points, its power source was Maria (later replaced by her eleven-year-old daughter) and thousands of her followers, who he tricked into believing that they were broadcasting messages of peace and goodwill rather than orchestrating a total planetary genocide. This also meant that they served as {{Human Shield}}s for the Halo, ensuring that every bit of damage it took was measured in innocent lives.

* Major Nomoa Long from ''[[Anime/AfterWarGundamX Gundam X]]''. A former scientist for the Space Revolutionary Army, he was dumped on Earth by his superiors following the [[AfterTheEnd devastating aftermath]] of the war and began plotting revenge against them. While this is at least understandable, the extremes he goes to in his pursuit of vengeance are downright depraved - his plan was to use the Fort Severn laboratories to create a strong enough Artificial Newtype (and we know how [[TykeBomb those]] [[WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds unfortunate people]] [[MindRape are created]] and how [[AxCrazy unstable]] they usually end up becoming) in order to power up the Patulia, a nightmarish Mobile Armor that is PoweredByAForsakenChild: this horror needed a Newtype (who ended up being Artificial Newtype Carris Nautilus) to be used as its power source, and [[MindRape it would slowly and painfully erase the victim's mind]], turning him or her into nothing more than one of the Patulia's own components. Does Nomoa care about any of this? No, he just wants the Patulia to destroy all those who have wronged him somehow, and he will sacrifice anyone to achieve that.

* Muruta Azrael from ''GundamSEED'', leader of the [[WesternTerrorists terrorist organization]] Blue Cosmos, who wanted to [[FinalSolution kill all]] [[GattacaBabies Coordinators]] by [[WeaponsOfMassDestruction any means necessary]] and took [[LaughingMad unholy delight]] in their wholesale slaughter. He's also [[HeManWomanHater misogynistic]], [[ManChild childish]], [[SmugSnake smug]], arrogant, condescending, and [[PsychopathicManchild enthusiastically psychotic]]. He believes entirely that his subordinates [[WeHaveReserves are expendable]] and would willingly sacrifice thousands and millions of them just to see all the Coordinators [[NukeEm burn]]. A SoreLoser and a raging {{hypocrite}} who uses [[PsychoSerum drugs]] and brainwashing to turn children into {{Tykebomb}} {{Super Soldier}}s, (referred to as the Extended) while claiming that genegeneering is a sin (it's heavily implied that this is a case of DrivenByEnvy), Azrael is also TheManBehindTheMan to both the [[{{Eagleland}} Atlantic Federation]] and the Earth Alliance Forces, whom he manages to corrupt with his FantasticRacism, and goes out of his way to make sure that neutral nations are coopted or destroyed. Having started the war by launching a nuclear assault on the Coordinator homeland, Azrael hopes to [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill end it the same way]]. The sheer hatefulness of his plan is only reinforced by the FreudianExcuse he uses to justify himself (he was bullied by Coordinators when he was a kid. [[EvilIsPetty Yeah,]] [[DisproportionateRetribution that's about it]]), and his eventual VillainousBreakdown is a source of NightmareFuel. He manages to make the series' actual BigBad (a ranting OmnicidalManiac) look [[WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds downright sympathetic]] in comparison, and he's so utterly vile that he causes hardline SergeantRock Natarle Badgiruel to pull a HeelFaceTurn.

** Ali's [[BigBad boss]], [[SmugSnake Ribbons Almark]], is just as bad. An unbelievably arrogant [[ArtificialHumans Artifical Human]], Ribbons views himself, and his fellow "Innovators" as a SuperiorSpecies destined to rule over humanity. Setting himself up as a [[DarkMessiah messianic figure]] (while harbouring even greater [[AGodAmI delusions of grandeur]]), Ribbons takes control of the United Earth Federation after betraying [[DiscOneFinalBoss Alejandro Corner]] (who genuinely liked him) and arranging for the [[SelfMadeOrphan death of Aeolia Schenburg]], his creator. Almost all of the above-mentionted atrocities that Ali Al-Saachez commits--razing Azadistan, murdering the Trinity siblings (whom Ribbons genegeneered in the first place), attempting to kill all the members of Celestial Being--were done on Ribbons' orders, and once he's ruler of the world, he ''really'' comes into his own, ruthlessly manipulating Louise Halevy (a horribly unstable DarkActionGirl) into becoming his pawn, forcing ManchurianAgent Anew Returner into a battle to the death with her LoveInterest, using the A-Laws to crush anyone who gets in his way, and utilising a KillSat to murder thousands of people. Why does he do this? Because it's his way of stroking his own inflated ego. In general he's less a character and more the superiority complex that walks like a man.

* ''ZetaGundam'' has [[SociopathicSoldier Yazan]] "[[MemeticMolester I’m gonna violate you!]]" [[BloodKnight Gable]], a [[TheBrute thuggish]] PsychoForHire and adrenaline junkie who freely admits that the whole reason he joined the [[StateSec Titans]] was so that he could satisfy his bloodlust by killing members of the [[LaResistance Anti Earth Union Group]] (AEUG). He has no interest in the rules of warfare, murders solely because he is good at it, and gladly participates in the Grenada ColonyDrop, which would have killed thousands of civilians, seeing it as an opportunity to shoot down anyone who tries to defend Grenada. When his superior officer, Jamaican Danigan, tries to stop Yazan from fighting a pointless battle, Yazan [[UnfriendlyFire arranges]] for Jamaican and several members of the ''[[CoolShip Alexandria]]'''s bridge crew to die at the hands of AEUG ace Emma Sheen. He later betrays Titans' leaders [[DiscOneFinalBoss Jamitov Hymem]] and [[TheDragon Bask Om]] to [[BigBad Paptimus]] [[DarkMessiah Scirocco]] because he believes that [[IFightForTheStrongestSide Scirocco is stronger than they are]], and in the finale goes on an [[HeroKiller epic killing spree]] that results in the deaths of [[spoiler:[[TagalongKid Katz Kobayashi]], [[TheCaptain Henken Bekkener]], the entire crew of the ''Radish'', [[CoolBigSis Emma Sheen]]]] and his own teammate [[spoiler:[[FaceHeelTurn Reccoa Londe]]]] whom he kills alongside [[spoiler:Emma]]. He's consistently characterised as a feral predator rather than human being, and it's worth noting that a) he was likely the [[{{Expy}} inspiration]] for Ali Al-Saachez and Decil Galette, two of the worst characters on this list, and b) does all of this while being a BadassNormal in a show full of [[PsychicPowers Newtypes]].
** Titans' [[TheDragon second-in-command]], [[InsaneAdmiral Bask Om]], is just as bad. He has [[FreudianExcuse a background]] of [[BeingTorturedMakesYouEvil being horrifically tortured]] during the last war, yet this still doesn't come close to justifying his brutality or making him seem any more sympathetic a character (especially given that the excuse is only [[AllThereInTheManual touched on in sidematerials]] and never mentioned in-show). He [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown beats the tar]] out of [[TheGoodCaptain Captain Bright]] for opposing to his orders (leading to the latter's defection), then has Kamille Bidan's mother, Hilda, put in a capsule in outer space ''without a spacesuit'' in order to retrieve the Gundams stolen by the AEUG, and orders one of his men to shoot at it, after telling the man in question that it's a bomb, leading to her horrendous and [[TearJerker heart-wrenching]] death. If that weren't bad enough, he subsequently orders two massive [[DeadlyGas colony gassings]]. This is on top of being the man responsible for the Titans' brutal treatment of the colonies in the first place, favouring the seizure and murder of hostages to get people to go along with his plans, and being a major proponent of the use of [[{{Tykebomb}} Cyber-Newtypes]]. [[AntiVillain Jerid Messa]], [[SmugSnake Gady Kinsey]], and even BigBad [[ManipulativeBastard Paptimus]] [[MindRape Scirocco]] all find him thoroughly distasteful, and it's one of the Titans, [[spoiler:[[FaceHeelTurn former]] CoolBigSis Reccoa Londe, who finally [[EvenEvilHasStandards kills him in the end]]]].
* While ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamZZ Gundam ZZ]]'''s Glemmy Toto [[SmugSnake was never]] [[TheStarscream a nice person]], at least in the anime, he gets enough characterization and is [[LaughablyEvil funny]] and [[BunnyEarsLawyer quirky]] enough to neatly avoid this trope. In the manga's AlternateContinuity, though, his evilness is cranked UpToEleven. He doesn't even start out sympathetic and is immediately shown to be coldly manipulating Puru and treating her as nothing more than a weapon to be used against his enemies (complete with a NightmareFuel worthy description of the poor girl's brainwashing). When Puru does her HeelFaceTurn, Glemmy tries to [[YouHaveFailedMe kill her himself]]. And during the desert arc, Glemmy orders his men to destroy a defenceless village just to draw out Judau and his friends ([[spoiler:which leads to Puru's death at the hands of her EvilTwin, Puru-2]]). It is ''immensely'' satisfying when, during the final battle, [[spoiler:Judau takes a page out of Kamille's book and disables Glemmy's Queen Mantha with his Newtype powers, before ramming a HUGE beam saber up Glemmy's cockpit.]] He's eventually revealed to be a clone of [[spoiler:Gihren Zabi, Gundam's original CM, which goes a long way towards explaining how he turned out]].
** The original show, in the meantime, has Axis-Zeon AcePilot [[ScaryBlackMan Rakan]] [[ColonelKilgore Dahkaran]]. An {{expy}} of ''Zeta'''s Yazan Gable, Rakan is, like his inspiration, a brutal, nigh-unkillable BloodKnight with a [[IFightForTheStrongestSide tenuous grasp of personal loyalty]], albeit with some actual command talent thrown in. Cold-blooded and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, Rakan is not above harming civilians. This is best demonstrated in Episode 35, where he impassively guns down hospital ships and evacuation craft fleeing the Dublin Colony Drop, in order to make sure that nobody escapes the blast radius. He kills longtime ''Gundam'' veteran [[spoiler:Hayato Kobayashi]] when the latter tries to stop him, and following his defection from Haman's forces willingly kills many of his old comrades, including [[spoiler:AntiVillain Mashmyre Cello]] before [[spoiler:being stopped by Judau]].

!!After War

* ''GundamWing'' is perhaps the lightest of the series, with most of the villains being {{Well Intentioned Extremist}}s, being too pathetic to qualify, or being out and out {{antivillain}}s. None of those things can be said about the Romefeller Foundation's [[MadScientist Chief Engineer]], [[AxeCrazy Ken]] [[WarForFunAndProfit Tsubarov]]. A loud, abrasive {{jerkass}}, with NoIndoorVoice and a HairTriggerTemper, Tsubarov eventually reveals himself as a BloodKnight by proxy who enjoys watching his [[KillerRobot Mobile Dolls]] slaughter enemy soldiers a tad more than is healthy, supporting DiscOneFinalBoss Duke Dermail [[PsychoSupporter in the hopes that the latter will trigger an enormous war]] for his Dolls to show off their skills in. When [[TheBaroness Lady Une]], a major supporter of his project, reveals that she likes the automated Mobile Dolls because they will cut down on human casualties, Tsubarov turns on her--he wants his Dolls to have the chance to kill people, and plenty of them. When the White Fang rebellion reaches the colonies, Tsubarov betrays Une, seizing control of the colonies, attempting to murder the captive Gundam pilots by cutting off their oxygen, and gunning Une down when she tries to interfere. He proceeds to improve his Dolls, and begins construction of the KillSat[=/=][[TheBattlestar Battlestar]] ''Libra'' for his boss. When the rebels come for him, Tsubarov finally snaps, undergoes a huge VillainousBreakdown, and turns his Dolls loose on the civillian population, causing the collapse of an entire research facility, ranting like a madman the entire time about how, through them, he will achieve invincibility.
** The SpinOff novel ''GundamWingGUnit'', adds two more to the mix:
*** Dr. Berg, a MadScientist suffering from a terminal case of ChronicBackstabbingDisorder who is willing to betray and murder in order to complete his research and create the most powerful Gundams ever, as he takes pride and joy in inventing newer and newer ways for humans to kill each other. He has no regard at all for human lives and only considers people as guinea pigs for him to toy with. [[spoiler:It is also revealed later on that he arranged for the death of Dr. Burnett and his wife, the parents of series protagonists Odin and Odel, in order to divert fundings from their research to his own weapon manufacturing...and the reveal sends Odel, who is normally quite TheStoic, into an UnstoppableRage and drives him to kill Berg. Unfortunately, the mad doc initiates a SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum and activates his Grand Shirio's doomsday program to destroy the colonies and drop itself on Earth to pollute it with its nuclear engines. Odin barely manages to avert disaster.]]
*** Finally, BigBad Valdor Farkill, [[RedBaron the Black General of Death]], so nicknamed for his skill in battle and for the enthusiasm he puts forth in slaughtering entire companies of enemy soldiers. He estabilishes himself soon after his introduction by coldly disposing of Broom Brooks - the third member of the QuirkyMinibossSquad - just because [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness he had outlived his usefulness]], and then by blowing up several shuttles filled with civilian refugees ''[[ForTheEvulz just because]]''. And he gets progressively worse, to the point that, by the time he [[spoiler:betrays and kills his loyal henchwomen, TykeBomb sisters Solys and Luna]], he has already estabilished himself as the most despicable villain in the After Colony era. He's also an extreme megalomaniac who believes it is his destiny to fight and kill WellIntentionedExtremist AntiVillain Treize Kushrenada, for no better reason than a desire to be forever remembered in history books.

** [[DiabolicalMastermind Lord Djibril]] from ''GundamSEEDDestiny'', is Azrael's successor, with all of his racism and contemptibility, but [[TooDumbToLive none of his intelligence]] [[FauxAffablyEvil or charisma]], who had his minions perform horrible experiments on children (whom he then brainwashed into {{tykebomb}}s), loosed the [[WeaponsOfMassDestruction Destroy]] on Eurasia, personally killed thousands of innocents with a WaveMotionGun (while bragging about having the guts to do something like this) and was responsible for [[spoiler:turning [[BigBrotherMentor Mu La Flaga]] into [[CriminalAmnesiac Neo Roanoke]]]]. He exploited the tragedy of the Junius 7 ColonyDrop to start another war, and form a new anti-Coordinator alliance, kept up Azrael's horrible treatment of the Extended, using PsychoSerum addiction (with fatal withdrawal symptoms) to maintain their loyalty loyal, and continued the practise of raising kids to be the [[BrainwashedAndCrazy indoctrinated soldiers]] mentioned in ''Stargazer''. Convinced that his own survival is paramount above all else, Djibril regularly abandons his allies when the going gets tough, and entertains plans of [[TakeOverTheWorld ruling the world]] when the war is over. Essentially what happens when you give someone with the personality of a low-functioning sociopath and [[TheBully jumped-up school bully]] access to unlimited resources and technology. He's a combination of [[HairTriggerTemper impotent rage]] and [[DirtyCoward cowardice]], but with the money and influence to make him horrifying instead of merely pathetic.
