* Trent and [[Characters/TotalDramaCourtney Courtney]]: Both of them were major characters in Island who had major romance arcs with one of the final four contestants. Both of them were eliminated in the same way. Both of them promptly break up with their respective love interests in Action and are paranoid that their love interests are interested in the other one's love interest. Both are also rather easy to manipulate by playing on their relationships. However, Trent had natural chemistry with Gwen right from the very beginning, to the point that by Episode 5, Gwen was conceding, if reluctantly, that she had a crush on him, and Trent was acknowledging the same thing. Despite Trent abandoning Gwen to be buried alive, it was by accident, Trent was clearly guilt-ridden over it, and Gwen forgave him. While Heather did manage to damage their relationship briefly, once they learned the truth, the two reconciled and actually began to date. When Trent developed an obsession with Gwen, especially over concern about Duncan having a relationship with her, and begins to throw challenges purposefully, Gwen urges him to let her win fairly, and it is not until he does it again that she breaks up with him, and reluctantly urges Trent's team to vote him off. Although the breakup anger Trent, he acknowledges that he played a major role in it, defended Gwen from the other cast, and when Gwen does start dating Duncan, he accepts the relationship and moves on. By very stark contrast, Courtney frequently conflicted with Duncan, and although she had a crush on him, she would not hesitate to yell at him. Furthermore, the relationship was marred by abuse. Courtney frequently abandoned Duncan, injured and crippled him, and showed open disdain and hostility to Gwen over suspicions of the two involved. While Trent accepted Gwen for who she is, Courtney was adamant that Duncan had to change to be perfect. When Duncan voted her off at the end of Action, a furious Courtney swore bloody vengeance. Upon learning about Duncan and Gwen's relationship, Courtney could not move on and repeatedly tried to throw challenges to get the two eliminated while flatly refusing to accept her role in Duncan's decision to leave her.

* Lightning to Tyler: Both are [[{{Determinator}} determined]] athletes who are very confident in their abilities, and tend to be TheDitz (although Lightning more so than Tyler). Additionally, both have similar catchphrases (Lighting's "Sha-Bam!" And Tyler's "Extreeeme!"). But unlike Tyler, who often [[SmallNameBigEgo overestimates what he’s capable of]] but is otherwise friendly with his competitors, Lightning backs up his claims and excels in anything physical, but is a SoreLoser to the point where it makes him undergo a FaceHeelTurn upon Scott's elimination.

** To Courtney: Both are characterized as overachievers and both started out as [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold relatively benevolent]] characters, albeit [[CompetitionFreak overly competitive]] and [[SmallNameBigEgo with an inflated opinion of themselves]]. Then after being slighted by another competitor, inadvertently in pursuit of a greater goal, (Harold rigging the votes to get her eliminated to get back a Duncan for Courtney, and Cameron tricking him and stealing his immunity for Lightning) [[BigBadSlippage started giving into their negative traits more and more until what little goodness used to be in them had completely disappeared]].

* Sam to Trent. Both characters are among the more ordinary contestants of their generations, {{Nice Guy}}s, and major [[IronButtMonkey pain magnets]] of their debut season who were heavily involved in romantic plots with a girl (Gwen and Dakota respectively) and played a major role in helping said girl develop as a character. However, similar to the Trent and Mike example above, whereas Trent is a smooth, handsome, and confident ChickMagnet, Sam is instead a scruffy, overweight nerd with a low opinion of himself.

to:

* Sam:
** He shares a few traits with Cody, both being a certain species of techno-geek plying for the affections of a girl, though
Sam actually succeeds.
** He shares quite a few similarities with Owen as well: They're both fat, good at speed eating, and extremely nice. By "Food Fright" he seems
to be a full-out replacement for Owen, acting as the Heroic Hamsters' speed eater during the eating portion of the episode's challenge (although he's not nearly as good at it as Owen was).
** To
Trent.

* Zoey:
** She's comparable to Beth in terms of their FriendlessBackground. However, later she becomes more like Bridgette as both are {{Team Mom}}s.
** To Heather. Both were the love interest of a BigBad, who they made it to the finale with. But Alejandro's love for Heather ended up being his FatalFlaw, and she used it to manipulate him and then [[HumiliationConga subject him to a very brutal defeat]]. [[ThePowerOfLove Mike's love of Zoey]] in contrast, gave him the HeroicWillpower to overcome [[JekyllAndHyde Mal]] and take back control of his body. While Heather came second in Alejandro's ending due to a technicality and ended the season on bad terms with Alejandro, Zoey [[GracefulLoser happily accepted coming second]] in Mike's ending because she had the man she loved back and the two shared the prize money.

** He is practically a SpearCounterpart to Courtney. Both Courtney and Dave have an uptight and neurotic personality, and both have a tendency to whine when things don't go their way. Also, much like with Courtney's situation, a toxic relationship with another person leads to Dave's SanitySlippage.
** To Mike. Both have a similar color scheme and a mental disorder that proves to be troublesome and are part of a couple (with Sky and Zoey respectively) that serve as a major plot throughout their seasons. However, while their relationships seem similar at first, they end up going in near opposite directions. Both relationships involved trust issues between the two lovers, but for Mike and Zoey, it was the boy keeping secrets while for Dave and Sky, it was the girl who is withholding the truth. Mike was able to pull through due to [[ThePowerOfLove his love of Zoey]], while it's Dave's love for Sky that destroyed him and left him a wreck. Mike ended up getting the girl and the money, while Dave DidNotGetTheGirl or the money and is left with an UncertainDoom.
** To Noah. Both come off as being {{Deadpan Snarker}}s who are [[NonActionSnarker reluctant to help their team]], but their characters quickly diverge after this. Noah couldn't care less what anyone else thinks, actually knows his limits and is still able to be an asset to his team when he feels like it. Dave constantly has something to prove, keeps stepping outside his capabilities and ends up paying for it, and is the biggest [[TheLoad load]] to his team after Beardo and Leonard are eliminated. Furthermore, both have an arc of pursuing a girl which had an effect on their in-game performance, but while Noah did manage to win her over and may have had a RelationshipUpgrade, Dave DidNotGetTheGirl and became a GreenEyedMonster determined to get revenge on her.
** To Cody. Both are [[GeekPhysiques scrawny nerds]] who have huge crushes on a cute girl (Gwen and Sky, respectively) but there's an important difference: Cody is a CasanovaWannabe with [[AllMenArePerverts with some perverted tendencies]] while Dave is a whiny, neurotic NeatFreak who freaks out whenever he gets even a little bit dirty. Likewise, although, [[DidNotGetTheGirl neither of them hooked up with Gwen or Sky]], Cody didn't seem to mind Gwen hooking up with Trent [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy as long as it meant she was happy]] while Dave went AxCrazy in the finale after finding out that Sky already has a boyfriend back at home.

** To Trent, specifically Trent's role in the pilot as [[OnlySaneMan "The Normal Guy"]]. Both were {{Nice Guy}}s who fell for another contestant, [[CrazyJealousGuy let their insecurities get the best of them]] and ended up suffering a SanitySlippage and performing a SenselessSacrifice that resulted in them [[DidNotGetTheGirl not getting the girl]] and [[TookALevelInJerkass taking a level in Jerkass]].
** To Lightning, he was a tall, athletic but unintelligent, overly confident JerkJock whereas Dave is a small, frail, neurotic, insecure nerd but they both filled the same role as [[spoiler:the surprise FinalBoss of the season after the previous villains had all been eliminated]]. However, Lightning wins in one of his endings, was injured, and is still alive, while Dave loses and freaks out in both endings, is never seen injured by Scuba Bear and is left with UncertainDoom.
** To Alejandro, both had a dramatic confrontation with their love interest in their respective finales and in both cases their love interest took advantage of their feelings for her and subjected them to a HumiliationConga. But Alejandro had been a CardCarryingJerkass from the start and being defeated by Heather was his LaserGuidedKarma, whereas Dave had been pretty decent (of entitledly clingy) to Sky before his last-minute SanitySlippage.

** To Dawn. Both are {{Nice Girl}}s, {{All Loving Hero}}ines and have a [[TheBeastmaster special connection]] with [[FriendToAllLivingThings animals]]. Both possess some degree of supernatural power, with Dawn having PsychicPowers while Ella has a CompellingVoice that can create MindControlMusic when she sings. Both are also overly-trusting {{Actual Pacifist}}s who ''never'' try to harm others, with the very worst being Dawn trying to get Scott eliminated and that was only after discovering how vile he was. There are a few contrasts, however, such as Dawn being a CreepyChild who often scares people, while Ella is generally well-liked albeit sometimes considered annoying. In addition, Dawn is noted to be exceptionally smart and figured out Scott on her own, while Ella is too naive for her own good and never realizes Sugar is a bad person despite being openly bullied by her.
** Ella has quite a few similarities to Lindsay: both are labelled as "Princesses", both have major conflicts with "Queens" (Heather for Lindsay, Sugar for Ella) which end in their elimination, both placed 9th in their debut seasons, and both are [[{{Leitmotif}} associated with the same light, fluttery music]]. However, the difference is while Lindsay is a NiceGirl, she does come to be aware of Heather being the vile person she is and even [[TheDogBitesBack gets back at her]]. Ella remains blissfully unaware of how nasty Sugar is and to this date still thinks of her as a friend. Also, Ella is the pale-skinned brunette to Sugar's fair-skinned blonde, which is the other way around for Lindsay and Heather.
** Within her own generation, she is similar to Samey. Both are the {{Nice Girl}}s of their respective teams, and both are abused by a blonde-haired AlphaBitch (Sugar towards Ella, and Amy towards Samey). However, the major difference between the two is that Ella has a [[ThePollyanna sunny and optimistic]] personality and [[AllLovingHeroine never shows any aggression]] towards Sugar and even attempted to befriend her whereas Samey started off as a ShrinkingViolet who eventually GrewASpine, standing up against her wicked twin sister.

** To Alejandro. Both are contestants labelled as "villains" with EvilerThanThou being a heavily emphasized aspect of their character but are otherwise opposites in every other way. Max is a CardCarryingVillain who openly boasts about being the evilest contestant ever, but is in fact completely incompetent and self-deluded in his EvilerThanThou beliefs. Alejandro, on the other hand, is a BitchInSheepsClothing who hides his evil nature with a charming persona, is TheAce, and indeed proves himself to be EvilerThanThou to the point of making previous BigBad Heather the hero in his debut season. Furthermore, Max is short, fat, and {{gonk}}y, while Alejandro is tall, well-built, and extremely handsome.
** To Mike's evil persona, Mal. [[EvilIsPetty Both seem to love committing petty crimes]], [[MeaningfulName have only one letter separating their names]], are {{Card Carrying Villain}}s who take pride in their evil and unlike most villains, they are more interested in being bad for the sake of it than the money, but whereas Mal was played as a [[KnightOfCerebus serious threat]] without a shred of humanity in him, Max is largely played as a joke who can't accomplish one successful scheme without Scarlett's help and has a redeeming feature in that [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes he loves babies]].
** To Scott. Being a born troublemaker who is also a ButtMonkey on the villains' side. In addition, they are both [[AnimalsHateHim hated by animals]] and [[IronButtMonkey get hurt on a regular basis]].

** With Scarlett becoming Izzy's EvilCounterpart, he ends up being one to Owen: Both are naïve, childlike FatIdiot and TheLoad of their teams save a few HiddenDepths. Although Owen is a KindheartedSimpleton without a malicious bone in his body, while Max considers himself an evil genius but is completely out of his depth. Owen was madly in love with Izzy when he knew she was crazy but their relationship was cut to an end when she revealed her super intelligence, Max was close and possibly attracted to Scarlett when he thought she was just a super-genius but when she turned out to be crazy he became absolutely terrified of her.

** Shawn can be seen as one to Owen and Cameron, as the socially-weird male finalist of each generation. Like his predecessors, he's a NiceGuy, a [[DirtyCoward coward]], and has NoSocialSkills. However, while his predecessors both performed very poorly in physical areas, Shawn displays genuine skill and athleticism that allows him to perform well in challenges. His [[TheLoad load]] status instead comes from his zombie paranoia.

His [[TheLoad load]] status instead comes from his zombie paranoia.

** To Alejandro, Mal and from his own generation Dave: All four of them had dramatic confrontations with their love interest in the finale. But he's the only one who was a NiceGuy and not a BigBad or FinalBoss, and although Jasmine was mad at him, once she realized he was in actual danger she became concerned for his safety and the two made up, ending the season on good terms.
** To Mike: Both had a blossoming romance with another contestant that was put in jeopardy by a trait they had that the other didn't realise was genuine. Zoey thinking Mike's multiple personalities were just impressions he did and Jasmine believing Shawn's zombie paranoia was just an inside joke they shared. Unlike Mike who [[SureLetsGoWithThat went along with this belief]] Shawn was just as oblivious, [[ThoughtTheyKnewAlready thinking Jasmine shared his beliefs]].

** To Beth, as they both are, physically speaking, look less than conventional to look at. Nonetheless, even with some of her questionable moments, generally speaking, Beth herself still has a heart of her own, as opposed to Sugar, whose "dumb, but nice" moments [[BitchInSheepsClothing actually hide her truly dark-hearted personality]] during her first moments within the franchise.

** To Blaineley, she was a TokenAdult DistaffCounterpart to Chris who he initially admired but she eventually began to drive him crazy by acting like his equal and not respecting his property until he ended up physically dragging her out the plane, she also claimed to have been the first person asked to host the show but turned it down. He was a teenage [[SmugSnake Chris]] [[BigBadWannabe Wannabe]] who initially impressed Chris with his TeachersPet routine but eventually started to drive him crazy with his {{Stealth Insult}}s and attempts to undermine him. He never had a chance of being host but kept scheming to replace Chris until he got tired of him and tricked him into thinking it was happening to humiliate him before ejecting him off the island.
** To Geoff after he TookALevelInJerkass in Action. Becoming the host of his own talk show gradually turned him into a teenage version of Chris and he began to alienate his girlfriend and all of his friends until eventually, they all called him on this and he TookALevelInKindness again. Topher however never formed any friendships while on the show and remained a junior Chris until he was kicked off.

** To [[Characters/TotalDramaPresentsTheRidonculousRace Jacques]]: Both are flamboyant, athletic, [[RealMenWearPink effeminately dressed]] blondes with Bowie being CampGay while [[AmbiguouslyGay Jacques' sexuality]] [[HideYourGays couldn't be spoken of]]. They seem friendly but are [[CompetitionFreak highly competitive]] and willing to {{Scheme|r}}, manipulate and sabotage friendships in order to win as well as ALighterShadeOfBlack in a BigBadEnsemble with an AlphaBitch with [[TheBerserker berserker strength]]. However, Jacques had a VillainousFriendship with Josee whereas Bowie and Julia were [[EvilVsEvil bitter rivals]], and while Bowie had trouble keeping up with Julia when she was [[HairTriggerTemper enraged]], he generally held his own against her [[ExtremeDoormat unlike Jacques]].

** To [[Characters/TotalDramaCourtney Courtney]]: Both are big believers in ProtagonistCenteredMorality, both take MoralMyopia [[IRejectYourReality to the point of insanity]], both are antagonists [[ObliviouslyEvil not out of any real malice]] but because [[EvilCannotComprehendGood the sheer concept of selflessness is unfathomable to them]], both can be highly skilled but their ego's often make them TheLoad, both are [[PsychopathicManChild emotionally stunted]] and both were involved in an incredibly toxic [[RelationshipRevolvingDoor on and off relationship]] with another player. However the two have polar opposite personalities, Courtney is [[AcademicAlphaBitch insufferably smart]] while Chase is [[InsufferableImbecile insufferably stupid]]. Chase is calm, laid back and impulsive while Courtney is uptight, controlling and emotional. Chase seems to care more about being on TV than actually winning the money and focuses more on trying to win back Emma, while Courtney puts the money above anything else and will throw any potentially meaningful relationship under the bus to get it. All of Courtney's skills were developed through [[{{Determinator}} hard work and dedication]], Chase is a [[TheSlacker slacker]] who's proficiency at stunts comes from being [[FearlessFool too dumb for fear]] and Courtney's ability to be EasilyForgiven is [[VillainWithGoodPublicity universal]] while Chase's is exclusive to Emma.

** To Amy: Both are huge {{Jerkass}}es who have known a blond girl before auditioning for Total Drama (Samey for Amy; Emma for Chase) whose relationships with them have become extremely unhealthy and toxic. However, Amy has an extremely unpleasant and volatile personality and is [[DomesticAbuse intentionally abusive]] to Samey so she can always feel superior compared to her sister, while Chase never tries to hurt Emma intentionally yet [[NeverMyFault refuses to acknowledge]] that his actions have harmed his on-and-off girlfriend because he is such an idiot and narcissist personality-wise.
* Damien:
** To Trent: Both are {{Nice Guy}}s who have a ShipTease with a female finalist of their debut season, where said finalists have crushes on (Gwen for Trent; Priya for Damien), until they decided to hook up with other people (Gwen with Duncan; Caleb for Priya) while their [[ShipperOnDeck former crushes support their relationships]] and remain friends with them. However, Trent was confirmed to be Gwen’s FirstLove, who reciprocated her feelings for him and formed a [[OfficialCouple romantic relationship]] with her that fell apart as a result of Trent’s SanitySlippage, while Damien was a RomanticFalseLead for Priya who never made it clear if he returned Priya’s crush on him and instead becomes PlatonicLifePartners with her where their relationship suffers no emotional drama as a result of Damien remaining an OnlySaneMan.
** To Dave: Both are very emotional [[OnlySaneMan only sane men]] whose names start with a D, gets [[NervousWreck nervous frequently]], tends to panic and scream a lot, tried getting themselves eliminated, and have ShipTease with a more athletic girl in their debut season (Sky for Dave; Priya for Damien), but in the end they DidNotGetTheGirl. However, Dave was a {{Jerkass}} who had a massive crush on Sky to the point of obsession which ruins any relationship he had with her when he decided to hurt Sky upon discovering that she has a boyfriend. Damien the other hand is a NiceGuy who never confirmed whether he had romantic feelings for Priya or not before deciding to settle with becoming PlatonicLifePartners and the only reason why they didn't have a RelationshipUpgrade was because she had a more focused romance with Caleb in the next season, while Damien becomes a ShipperOnDeck for both Priya and Caleb.
* Emma:
** To Leshawna: Both are spunky {{Big Beautiful Wom|an}}en who placed 5th in their debut season and are [[SucksAtDancing terrible dancers]] whose relationships are in an in-between space. While Leshawna amicably broke up with Harold, the two still remain extremely close and it's implied that they would get back together in the future. In stark contrast, Emma is in an on-again, off-again toxic love-hate relationship with Chase that will never work out no matter what she tries. On a side note, Leshawna's dancing is so notorious that people paid her to ''stop'' during the Aftermath Telethon while Emma found an audience to profit off from hers, earning millions from recording ten-second dance routines on her phone.
** To Samey: Both are blond girls with bubbly and friendly personalities who audition for Total Drama for the sole purpose of getting away from someone who’s toxic and horrible to them (Amy for Samey; Chase for Emma), only to learn that they’ll be competing with them in the same season, while also befriending someone who’s black (Jasmine for Samey; Bowie for Emma). However, Samey had extremely low self-esteem as a result of Amy’s abuse until Samey takes Jasmine’s advice to [[GrewASpine finally stand up to]] Amy and escape her shadow, while Emma developed a volatile temper towards Chase after having put up with his antics for so long, yet chose to ignore Bowie’s advice and get back together with Chase, resulting in Emma’s friendship with Bowie to deteriorate, even after Emma broke up with Chase in Part 2. Also Samey was the 5th person to be eliminated in her debut season, while Emma placed 5th in her debut season.
** To Carrie: Both are blond girls and have known their {{Love Interest}}s long before competing in reality shows. However, Carrie is an AllLovingHero who hardly ever gets angry with anyone and is completely infatuated with Devin, while Emma, while capable of being a NiceGirl, has a volatile temper and vindictive streak towards those she believes have wronged her and has an extremely negative view on Chase.

** To [[[Characters/TotalDramaAlejandro Alejandro]]: Both are the BigBad of their respective seasons and have a rivalry with a lesser evil (which both happen to be an Asian woman) in the same season they debut, have {{Fanservice}}, and [[EvilAllAlong pretend to be friendly but are actually evil]]. Alejandro was pretending to be the more charming friendly social type to manipulate, while Julia is more the GranolaGirl hippie act. Alejandro faces Heather in the season finale, while [[spoiler: Julia gets MK eliminated before the merge]]. Also, while Alejandro keeps his facade all the way to the season finale, Julia drops the act halfway through her season and becomes a CardCarryingVillain.

* Nichelle to [[Characters/TotalDramaNewWorldTourContestants Blaineley]]: Both are [[ThePrimadonna vain and self-promoting]] [[CelebrityStar celebrities]] competing on the show. Blaineley was forced to do the show and [[{{Narcissist}} created a ton of fanfare for herself when she arrived]] while Nichelle agreed to it and [[FamedInStory was met with a ton of fanfare]]. Blaineley assumed from the start they'd be using stunt doubles and was dismayed to learn she'd be expected to perform in challenges herself, Nichelle was up for competing in challenges [[spoiler:[[BelevingTheirOwnLies because she believed her own hype]] of being [[FauxActionGirl an action star]] but was helpless without her stunt double. Blaineley refused to perform in challenges and instead made a deal with Chef to make the challenges easier for herself and was voted off pretty much intently as a result while Nichelle made an honest effort but was voted off quickly due to her ineptitude and after this failure Nichelle came back next season having TookALevelnBadass]] whereas Blaineley never returned to the show.

** Raj himself is a parallel to Dave. Both are EndearinglyDorky Indian boys who fall for a very athletic and competitive contestant. However, Dave is a weak NeatFreak who gets easily annoyed by other people and is TheAloner, while Raj is an athletic LovableJock who gets along with everyone who came to the show with his best friend Wayne. In terms of their relationships with said athletic and competitive contestant, Dave’s relationship with Sky falls apart when he becomes too obsessed with her and Sky [[PoorCommunicationKills not communicating her feelings properly]], resulting in him resenting Sky upon learning she has a boyfriend, while Raj and Bowie are able to communicate their thoughts and feelings properly, and as a result they become a healthy OfficialCouple.
** Meanwhile, Wayne is one to Cody. Both of them reach the final three of a season and are set up against a competent protagonist (Heather for Cody, Caleb for Wayne) and a competent antagonist (Alejandro for Cody, Julia for Wayne), and very few people thought they would actually win, as Cody was carried by Sierra throughout the entirety of ''World Tour'', or otherwise the other players would have a better target to eliminate, and Wayne isn't really the smartest player, which shows even throughout the final challenge. While Cody in ''World Tour'' is eliminated quickly in a tie-breaker against Alejandro, Wayne, with the help of his friends manages to get first place in ''Island (2023) Part 2''.

* Courtney and Heather: Both of them imposed themselves as team captains of their respective teams. The difference is that during Island Courtney could be reasonable and leave the leadership to her teammates if it was necessary or if they were better at the challenge like she did with Geoff for the cooking challenge or Duncan during the dodgeball game. Heather always wants the team to follow her orders. The biggest difference is that Courtney is against bullying in general and call out Duncan for his behavior towards his teammates (especially Harold), while Heather is the main bully of her team with the way she treats Owen, Beth, Lindsay and Gwen. Especially the latter when she reads her diary in front of everyone, the fact that it didn't help winning the challenge and had no purpose outside of humiliating Gwen.

** To Heather. Both are dubbed '''Queens''' in their contestant labels, are the primary antagonist in their debut season, resorting to manipulation and cheating, and come in third place. However, the similarities end there. Heather is extremely cunning and intelligent, intimidating others into doing things for her. Sugar is TheDitz and BookDumb, and while very brash and rude mostly just annoys others. While both are able to manipulate others, Heather is TheChessmaster who makes elaborate plans, while Sugar acts on sight and has very little idea how she'll carry on. Heather is very classy and hates people with repulsive behavior like Owen, while Sugar is pretty much Owen's DistaffCounterpart and acts exactly like him.

* [[Characters/TotalDramaMike Mike]] to Trent. Both characters are one of the more ordinary contestants of their generations, {{Nice Guy}}s with mental disorders (OCD for Trent and [[SplitPersonality Dissociative Identity Disorder]] for Mike) and were heavily involved in a romantic plot with a girl (Gwen and Zoey respectively). However, whereas Trent is a smooth, handsome and confident ChickMagnet, Mike is instead a [[NoodlePeople scrawny]], meek and awkward ShrinkingViolet who gets nervous easily (especially around Zoey). Cody is a DoggedNiceGuy to Gwen and can [[NerdsArePervs have some perverted tendencies at times]] while Mike is a shy, reserved and awkward OnlySaneMan who isn't seen or shown doing anything perverted to Zoey. Cody not only failed to get the money twice but he also [[DidNotGetTheGirl didn't hook up with Gwen.]] Mike makes the merge twice, wins ''All-Stars'' and hooks up with Zoey.

Both are tall, [[NoodlePeople skinny]], unimpressive-looking guys who the other players underestimate, but both have [[HiddenDepths a large collection of surprising skills]] that make them highly competent players. However, Mike's skills are all tied to his other personalities which makes him much more apprehensive about using them.

** To Lightning: Both are very competitive and athletic black men who are part of a BigBadEnsemble in their debut season while also becoming finalists, and coincidentally made a contestant voiced by Creator/BarbaraMamabolo finish 3rd in their debut season. However, Lightning is a DumbJock who became a BigBad after Scott's elimination and TookALevelInJerkass while Bowie is a smart [[TheStrategist strategist]] who's an active antagonist long before Julia's elimination, even if he was considered ALighterShadeOfBlack.
** To [[Characters/TotalDramaMike Mal]] (Surprisingly): Both are LeanAndMean antagonists who put on [[BitchInSheepsClothing polite masks]] to hide their ruthlessness, are willing to manipulate people and sabotage relationships for their own ends, and are the very few antagonists to reach the finals of their debut season. That said, the two are complete opposites in terms of morality. Mal has a FauxAffablyEvil mask hiding the fact that he’s the most evil of the antagonists in the show, who will commit countless evil acts ForTheEvulz, while Bowie is AffablyEvil and will only commit the bare minimum of evil acts for his gameplay and is currently the least evil antagonist. They both also have no interest in women, but Mal is a sociopath who’s incapable of forming long-lasting bonds regardless of gender and cares for no one but himself, while Bowie is a gay man who genuinely cares for his boyfriend Raj and is capable of forming genuine relationships and friendships.

** To Mike. Both are AmbiguouslyBrown teenagers who were placed 6th in their debut season, while also indirectly putting their {{Love Interest}}s through a lot of emotional turmoil. However, Mike is a NiceGuy who can’t be entirely at fault due to his mental disability but he always feels guilty whenever he realizes that he has hurt Zoey. On the other hand, Chase has no such excuse for his actions yet he refuses to [[NeverMyFault acknowledge]] that his actions have hurt Emma and is a massive {{Jerkass}}.

** To Amy: Both have blond hair and nasty AlphaBitch personalities but how they are operated and ranked in the show is noticeably different. Amy made very little effort hiding her horrible nature, yet managed to remain a VillainWithGoodPublicity by blaming her flaws on her sister Samey. However, this caused Amy to greatly underestimate Samey, who causes Amy to be the first person of their team eliminated, while Samey takes her place in the competition. Meanwhile, Julia actually [[BitchInSheepsClothing made an effort to hide her nastiness]] until MK exposed her true nature and since Julia has no siblings competing to scapegoat, this results in Julia becoming HatedByAll. However, this also causes Julia to realize that she can’t rely on anyone but herself moving forward in the game, where she puts her own strength into getting ahead in the competition, gets MK eliminated from the show, and manages to reach the final 4.
* Millie:
** To [[Characters/TotalDramaScreamingGophers Cody]] as a fellow third-placer who got far in the competition solely because of heavily relying on an over-enthusiastic, hyper-competent Total Drama fanatic (Priya for Millie and Sierra for Cody) for challenges, while also being literally carried by them at one point, and was considered TheLoad by many. However, Cody was still able to pull his own weight in winning several challenges without any aid whereas Millie has no outstanding talent in the competition with her only immunity win being because Priya gave it to her even though she did all the work which was lampshaded by Bowie who prefers her to be the finalist merely ''because'' of how bad she is.
** To [[Characters/TotalDramaMutantMaggots Zoey]]: Both are sheltered {{Girly Girl}}s who had trouble making friends before auditioning in ''Total Drama'', placed 3rd in her debut season and is voiced by Barbara Mamabolo. However, Zoey proved herself to be very athletic and capable of winning challenges on her own, while Millie proves herself to be TheLoad, whose only win in an individual immunity challenge is a result of Priya doing most of the work for her.

Katie and Sadie's identities are [[SatelliteCharacter solely based on their dynamic with one another]] alongside their [[AbhorrentAdmirer unwanted crushes]] and the latter trying to be her own person [[AbortedArc going absolutely nowhere]] while Raj has a major arc of [[ComingOutStory coming to terms with his sexuality]] and having a romance with Bowie. Katie and Sadie [[TheLoad don't contribute much]] [[TheMillstone or anything at all]] on their team whereas Wayne has been consistently strong in challenges and is usually TheLeader of his team. Additionally, Raj and Wayne's CoordinatedClothes have noticeable differences rather than being completely identical to showcase they are not SingleMindedTwins like Katie and Sadie.

*** Raj serves as one to Samey as both have their own character arc separate from Wayne and Amy respectively, but while Samey’s character arc revolves around standing up to her sister and becoming her own person, Raj’s character arc revolves around coming to terms with his sexuality and gaining the courage to come out to his best friend.
*** Wayne serves as one to Amy, as both have blond hair, are the more aggressive of the pair, and tend to give nicknames to Raj and Samey respectively. However, while Amy is aggressive in a bad way in that she’s abusive to Samey, gives her a demeaning nickname to keep Samey under her control, and contributes nothing to her team, Wayne’s aggressive in a good way in that he’s a team leader who contributes heavily to his team, wants Raj to be comfortable being his own person around him, and gives Raj the AffectionateNickname "Rajjy" to signify his close friendship with Raj.

But while Mike is a very shy NervousWreck who deliberately kept his condition from people throughout most of his debut season so he wouldn’t be viewed as a freak, Zee is extremely carefree and laid-back, not caring whether or not people knew that he's missing a leg, with his condition revealed in the second episode of his debut season. Both are also the first people to be eliminated in a unique voting twist, with Mike being the first person to be eliminated by a sole vote and Zee becoming the first person to be eliminated by a re-vote, both of which are caused by a BigBad.

* Bowie: To both Courtney and Sky. All three are [[CompetitionFreak highly competitive]] and determined to win the million with the skills to back it up but how much the competition affected their personal and especially their love life and vice-versa is an entirely different story.
** Courtney's [[GoGetterGirl go-getter]] [[{{Determinator}} determinism]] at doing whatever it takes to succeed had alienated all her peers with her backstabbing and bossiness both in and out of competition. Bowie, however, sets boundaries between his [[TheStrategist strategic]], [[{{Schemer}} often scheming]] gameplay and his actual feelings towards the contestants so he's generally friendly and easy-going [[PunchClockVillain off the clock]]. In terms of romance, Courtney and Duncan's love-hate relationship becomes progressively unstable and toxic as they continue competing until it reaches its breaking point with the Gwen LoveTriangle situation while Bowie puts his with [[spoiler:Raj]] on hold until after the show and it's a lot happier and healthier as a result. Also in spite of her efforts, Courtney always comes up short in all four seasons she competed in whereas Bowie is a finalist in his debut season.
** Sky is a fellow athletic finalist in their debut season with the same approach to romance regarding the competition, not wanting it to distract them from winning and putting the competition over their respective love interests but are more than willing to date them afterwards. Alas, Sky never had the chance to voice out these intentions with Dave due to their two-way PoorCommunicationKills when the latter comes on too strong and refuses to listen if it regards his slim chances with her which isn't helped by the former pushing him away and being a MasterOfTheMixedMessage instead of telling the truth, resulting in Dave voting himself off after Sky told him she never wants to see him again when the opposite is true. This refusal to properly explain reaches its crescendo when Sky was revealed to already have a boyfriend she didn't have time to break up with yet, causing Dave to resent her and destroy any relationship between them before it even began. This was not the case for Bowie who was immediately straightforward with [[spoiler:Raj]] about pausing their relationship, reasoning that he would have to eventually compete against and potentially vote him off, but reassures he'll love to be in a relationship with him. Competition-wise, Sky dislikes underhanded tactics and [[SoreLoser especially hates losing]] while Bowie is willing to get his hands dirty but also throws a few challenges for the long game and was a GracefulLoser to Priya for winning in her ending.
