It seems whenever a Kirara series centers on a duo, most likely it'd be an Energetic And Soft Spoken Duo, with a Genki Girl paired up with a Shrinking Violet (Yuno, Ao, Umika) or The Stoic (Rin and Hiyori).

Yuu immediately takes a shine to Umika. Claiming to possess the power of "forehead telepathy", she presses her brow to Umika's and claims she can sense the girl's desire to see the stars. Yuu says she's been stranded on Earth without any memories, and needs to find a way to return home. As the girls bond over their mutual desire to strike out for the stars, they form the Rocketry Research Association with two classmates, gentle class representative Haruno and grumpy mechanic Raimon. But when they struggle just to get a bottle rocket into the air, it's clear they still have a long way to go before they reach outer space.

Umika Konohoshi has been painfully shy her whole life. So shy, in fact, that when others try and talk to her, she can't even get a word out. Preferring to hide herself away inside the imaginary worlds of her favorite novels, she nonetheless clings to her deepest wish: to someday meet a real-life alien who will read her mind and become her friend without even needing to share a single word. But her wish has unfortunately gone unfulfilled, condemning her to a sad life as a friendless introvert...

That is, until her first day of high school, when a certified space cadet barges into her classroom and introduces herself as "The alien Akeuchi Yuu!"

Yuu takes an immediate liking to Umika and, claiming to possess the power of "forehead telepathy", presses her brow to Umika's and proclaims she can sense the girl's desire to see the stars. Yuu says she's been stranded on Earth without any memories, and wants to return home. Hoshikuzu Telepath "Stardust Telepath" is a seinen manga by Okuma Rasuko. It's been published in Creator/MangaTimeKirara since June 2019. An anime adaptation is slated to air in 2023.

----
!! Hoshikuzu Telepath provides examples of:

* BattleAura: Although Umika can't get a single word out, when she and Yuu are partnered up for a scavenger hunt in chapter 2, she generates a flaming aura that'd put a Super Saiyan to shame.
* BedmateReveal: After getting rejected by Raimon, Umika wakes up to find Yuu in her bed. In a nightgown.
* BlitheSpirit: Yuu barges into her high school class on the first day, introduces herself as a stranded alien, and takes all her classmates' ribbing in stride with a huge grin while trying to coax Umika out of her shell.
* CannotSpitItOut: Umika cannot speak to another human being to save her life.
* Cloudcuckoolander: If Yuu isn't an alien, then she's one of these. She has a big heart but little common sense.
* CurtainCamouflage: In the first chapter, when Umika tries to speak to Yuu and loves her nerve, she rolls herself up inside her school room's curtains.
* CuteBookworm: As a shy child, Umika buried herself in sci-fi books. But this is a Manga Time Kirara series, so she's also concentrated Moe.
* DesperatelyLookingForAPurposeInLife: Umika can't speak to other people, leaving her isolated and alone. She spends her days wishing an alien would come from the stars and give her a place she could feel like she belonged.
* TheDeterminator: Despite being scared to death of conversation, Umika believes in helping Yuu and traveling to space so much she's willing to go to Raimon's house every day just in the hopes she'll find the courage to ask for assistance with their rockets.
* DoorSlamOfRage: When the girls visit Raimon, she takes one look at them and then slams her garage door shut as hard as she can.
* FreezeFrameBonus: In the corner of Umika's prepared statement for introducing herself to aliens in chapter 2, you can just barely see she hurriedly scribbled her weight out.
* GadgeteerGenius: As the girls research rockets, they try and recruit the mechanically-minded Raimon into their circle.
* GenkiGirl: Yuu lives in a state of perpetual excitement. Multiple times, she's shown loudly cheering "I get it, I get it!" in response to somebody else, only for some text to point at her and say "She's doesn't get it."
* GogglesDoNothing: Raimon, an expert mechanical engineer, wears a pair of protective goggles everywhere she goes, even to middle school.
* HumanAlien: Maybe Yuu, if she really is an alien like she claims. Outwardly she's indistinguishable from an ordinary high school girl.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Umika can't speak to other people to save her life, so she spends her days wishing an alien would arrive and read her mind so they could know each other.
* IdentityAmnesia: Yuu claims she's an alien with no memory of her life before she was stranded on Earth.
* IdiotHair: Yuu has a single strand of hair sticking out of her scalp and drooping down in front of her face.
* Iyashikei: Despite the two main characters being a borderline-mute recluse who's terrified of other people and a space cadet who proudly declares she's an alien, everybody in their class is incredibly friendly and accepting. Even the salty Raimon just has some personal issues, and she's quickly won over by the power of friendship.
* JumpedAtTheCall: Umika, feeling like an alien herself, is immediately on-board with flying away to the stars alongside Yuu.
* MaybeMagicMaybeMundane: It's unclear if Yuu is actually an alien or if she's just chuunibyou. There's nothing she says that can't be deduced purely through people-reading skills or contextual clues, she has no proof of being an alien, and she says she doesn't even remember anything about her life before she was "stranded" on Earth.
* MeaningfulName: Umika's last name, Konohoshi, means "this planet".
* Otaku:
** Haruno alludes to being a "lighthouse enthusiast", and she perks up at the thought that Yuu and Umika went exploring an abandoned lighthouse. Little does she know that Yuu made it her home.
** Raimon describes herself as a "mechanic otaku."
* PositiveFriendInfluence: Regardless of whether Yuu is an alien or if she's just faking it, she offers exactly what Umika needs to come out of her shell.
-->Umika: Yesterday though, I felt like ... I'd never want to leave my bed again. B-But now, after seeing your face, I feel much better. That must be another alien power. Thank you.
-->Yuu: ...
-->Umika: A-Akeuchi-san?
-->Yuu The light that vanished from inside you is something only you yourself can turn back on.
* PseudoRomanticFriendship: It's a Kirara manga, so obviously. Umika and Yuu are very touchy-feely with each other, including constant bouts of "forehead telepathy" backed by shoujo sparkles and one incident where Umika wakes up to find Yuu in her bed in a nightgown.
* ReactionShot: The manga wrings every last ounce of comedy it can from extreme close-ups of Umika's horrified expressions.
* ShapedLikeItself: In chapter 5, Yuu shouts, "So many machines! They look so machine-y!"
* ShrinkingViolet: Umika is reduced to a sputtering mess whenever she has to talk to another human being.
* SourOutsideSadInside: Though Raimon is a jerk who prefers to keep to herself, it's mainly because she doesn't think people will take her seriously.
* Squee: In chapter 4, as soon as Haruno gets a taste of Umika's Moe qualities, she and Yuu instantly begin fawning over her.
* Telepathy: Yuu claims she can read minds if she touches her forehead to another's. But everything she says is blatantly obvious to the reader and everybody except the awe-struck Umika.
* UnfortunateSearchResults: A very mild one in chapter 4. Umika types "rocket building" into a search engine and just gets videos of children making bottle rockets. So she types in "rocket building adult" instead, and gets an attractive woman in military fatigues striking a pose for the camera while toting a bazooka-shaped bottle rocket launcher.
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: The girls in class don't bat an eye at Yuu proclaiming herself to be an alien.
* WeightWoe: In chapter 2, when Umika consults her prepared statement of things she will tell her alien friends, her weight has been hastily scribbled out with a note stating "No!"
