Reentry into the fantasy world involves him bringing himself to critical condition, but he respawns in the world just before his time of death. ''Parallel Paradise'' is an ongoing manga by Creator/LynnOkamoto (of Manga/ElfenLied fame) that began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine in 2017. Like his previous works, it's quite open about nudity, and takes it another step forward and has actual sex.

* HeelRealization: Youta realizes just how far he's fallen when Nishina confronts him after he mates with Mei, telling him that he disgusts her so badly she wants to kill him and storming out. The next day he prostrates himself before Mei and begs her forgiveness. The chapter is even titled "Return From Darkness".

* KatanasAreJustBetter: [[SubvertedTrope No they're not.]] Youta may carry a katana with him for self-defense, but he never gets to use it in an actual fight: the first time he draws it on the Kall, they flee at the sight of him and he doesn't have the chance to fight. Thanks to the elemental barriers of Cetus, the katana just bounces off of her: he ends up using Lumi's Caliburn to fight the beast when the others are incapacitated. Played with, in that the katana is just an old castoff, and barely useable. He later gets a much better sword, made with rare material, also in the form of a katan, that promises to be far better

* CrapsaccharineWorld: The ladies of the parallel world may be ready and willing to jump Youta at the slightest touch, and it's referred to as a paradise, but a bit of digging reveals that it's a sick, sad world at its core: besides crawling with murderous monsters, the women are cursed to die horribly when they turn twenty thanks to the curse of a god, and the aforementioned god has at least one immortal, psychotic follower going around slaughtering innocents at her leisure. It's not for nothing that Youta decided something had to be done about it: despite the temptation, what's happening in this world is too ''wrong'' not to do anything.

* {{Adorkable}}: Bless her, she tries, but beneath Lumi's proud paladin exterior is an awkward, goofy girl prone to cartoonish facial expressions and crying jags, and this is even ''outside'' of the times she's in heat.

* TeenageWasteland: While the society of the parallel world is holding up alright, upkeep of the architecture is suffering, and education is as well, causing basic things like math to be forgotten because of the population all dying at such a young age.

* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Amane really did mean well but by [[spoiler: being the last person to travel the portal back to Mille to fight Galia, Lilia was left behind in Sendorio which may be the cause her StartOfDarkness.]]

* ADateWithRosiePalms: Since women can't have sex with men, this is their best alternative.

* HairDecorations: All girls have a pair of small spheres they call moons on each side of their heads. It shatters when they're about to die.

* LivingAphrodisiac: Youta is capable of making a woman horny by simply touching her, and he also tends to lose his mind in the same way the girls do after smelling their fluids, but he's at least more in control. [[spoiler:We later learn the feeling lasts long after Youta's gone for the girls, unfortunately. Not even masturbation can satiate them anymore now that they've had sex with him.]]

* OurDragonsAreDifferent: [[spoiler: Galia's OneWingedAngel form isn't a sandworm: Youta notices it has tiny arms and legs and scales, and bets the farm on Galia being a Chinese Dragon. His hunch turns out to be correct when he attacks the fabled 'reverse scale' that dragons are said to have beneath their chin that serve as their weakness, and succeeds in killing Galia.]]

** Chapter 104 delivers practical example when Lumi and Amane starts comforting each other, when Youta is "busy".
