Navin, who was raised by a black family (oblivious to his own whiteness for decades), snapped at him, saying "Sir, you are talking to a nigger!" and proceeded to kick his ass with martial arts skills not shown before or after in the movie.

* In ''Series/DowntonAbbey'', the Granthams host the wedding ceremony for their cousins' daughter, who is marrying a Jewish man. The friend just ''looks'' at him and after a moment the white guy is going "Oh, right..." then tries to explain that he sometimes forgets his friend is black. That doesn't exactly fly either.

* In ''Film/TheLuckOfTheIrish'', Kyle's LoveInterest Bonnie tries to inspire him by talking about his Irish roots, pointing out how Irish immigrants would often get low-income jobs because no one wanted to hire them. Cue Kyle's BlackBestFriend interrupting her by pointing out that, at least, ''they'' got paid. Bonnie shuts up.

* In the ''ComicBook/SecretWars2015'' PoliceProcedural tie-in ''Thors'', [[Comicbook/UltimateMarvel Ultimate Thor]] makes a rude comment about "muties" and their unwillingness to cooperate with the police, prompting ComicBook/{{Storm}} to remind him that "You know you're standing right next to a mutie, right?" [[{{Anvilicious}} Giving the line to the only black character in the comic makes the subtext even more obvious.]]

* In ''WebVideo/DragonBallZAbridged''[='s=] version of ''Anime/DragonBallPlanToEradicateTheSaiyans'', titled ''Plan to Eradicate Christmas'', Freeza calls the Saiyan protagonists [[FantasticSlur "monkeys"]], which [[Anime/DragonBallZTheTreeOfMight Turles]], who is now his henchman and a Saiyan himself, objects to.
