* ''Website/GoodbyeStrangers'': This happens In-Universe with the ''Zeroworld'' game. Default, the main writer of the game, wrote most of the game based on the visions he experienced while under the influence of [[FantasticDrug psycholy]]. The game is surprisingly coherent for something written under the influence of drugs, but paints a dark picture of humanity's future. It also later happens with Bracey. After attempting suicide by taking a massive dose of psycholy. He starts NoticingTheFourthWall and begins working on the ''Hollow Crowns'' module, which is both a bizarre art project reflecting on his relationship with Default, and also an experiment in finding a way to escape from the story's narrative. You may also have a lot of questions about what sort of mental state the author of ''Goodbye Stranger'' was in when he designed the [[OurMonstersAreWeird monsters and [[MindScrew concepts]] that it features.

* Anything by seinfeldspitstain features stiff 3D models, loud echoing text-to-speech voices, and surreal and mildly disturbing imagery, but most notorious of all is WebAnimation/JimmyNeutronHappyFamilyHappyHour. It was apparently inspired by a dream the animator had, however others will think he makes his videos after snorting a lot of cocaine off a Jimmy Neutron plush toy.

* ''Series/LookAroundYou''. The entire series is on Website/YouTube. It [[{{Retraux}} appears to be from the late 70's]], and is a rather odd parody of British educational programming. It's like a baffling and nonsensical Wikipedia session, especially with the jumps between topics like opening new tabs. And the "[[TheBlank Helvetica]] [[AndIMustScream Scenario]]" from the pilot episode, "Calcium", is grade-A horror.

* ''Theatre/{{Elisabeth}}'' is always a weird show (it's about TheGrimReaper falling in love with the Empress of Austria and stalking her all her life, so weirdness is inevitable) but the Thun production turned it UpToEleven. The show's given a SettingUpdate without changing the references to history and Death becomes the leader of a biker gang. Unsurprisingly most of the musical's fans prefer to pretend this production doesn't exist.

** Turning on "Flux Mode" makes it ''[[UpToEleven even trippier.]]''

* Most Bangladesh commercials fill the quota if you're not a Bangla speaker: in asecending order of WTF - [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFiTORwgESo Citycell]] (a man is caught up in a rush for cell phone sales),[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyMj4b2d7N8 Goalini condensed milk]] (a family having dinner made of condensed milk winds up in a Bollywood-esque musical number), and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHrlRZrvts4 Marshall Chips]] (a cartoon brings a robot man to life via the power of potato chips).

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erh2ngRZxs0 Little Baby's Ice Cream,]] a commercial featuring a man made from ice cream, eating himself, talking about his glistening skin. Probably the people who made the commercial were drunk when they made it.

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG__-RN8lLA These railway crossing safety ads]] from Latvia, which feature several bizarre events such as two railwaymen riding a handcar while singing Latvian folk songs (?) and a train coming off the rails and chasing rowdy kids into their home.

* Goiânia, Brazil hosts a shoe store called Star's Chic - and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GN2trGfkP9w it's ads are pretty bizarre]]. One wonders if some Mexican cartels found their way into Brazil and the makers of these ads bought some of the contraband and then smoked it all up before the production of them. And we're not sure if horrifying [=CGI=] tribesmen, cockroaches, dinosaurs, ''WesternAnimation/WoodyWoodpecker'', [[Main/ArsonMurderAndJaywalking and]] kids form a big target group.
* Some 1980's Kuwaiti commercials are pretty bizarre - [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hdNBjrY7Wk this ad for Americana Crossiants with a jingle set to "Jingle Bells" of all things]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-854-i_r75o this ad for Kitco snacks]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-qjlhvMkkA this ad for the restaurant chain Chicken Tikka]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wszuZHSh7ew this ad for Lulu dish liquid]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uU9EvL2aPnk this ad for the Al-Nakheel restaurant]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_zEiNPNo5A this ad for Alwazah Tea]] ([[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuQLLyYF8kE and it's sequel]]), and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbjZxDr6ldo this ad for Dalal cooking oil]] all certainly count.

* Creator/MF217 has a tendency to make some of his more weirder designs of his by virtue of drawing them while in the middle of a mental breakdown episode that occurs on a regular basis enough for him to serve as a means to explain why some of his designs incorporate very unusual elements to them. His fan-made Digimon [[https://www.deviantart.com/mf217/art/Doedicurumon-Diary-of-an-Analog-874558270 Doedicurumon]] is strange enough as an Ultimate Level to serve as a transition between Ankylomon and Plesiomon, meaning Armadillomon as the Rookie has it going from mammalian, to reptile, back to mammalian, and then back to reptilian again. The weirdest bit, however, is the fact Doedicurumon's "eyes" shown in the image are actually headlights of what are actually it's nostrils, as the ''real'' eyes are located, closed, pointed directly upwards from within Doedicurumon's transparent skull, which is a blatant reference to an obscure deep sea fish known as a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-31d84koO2E Barreleye Fish]]. While [=MF217=] doesn't know if he actually has UsefulNotes/BipolarDisorder, he ''does'' experience a lot of anxiety attacks which put him into a stage of manic depression at their worst moments.

* ''WesternAnimation/RaggedyAnnAndAndyAMusicalAdventure'' particularly the scenes with The Greedy a sentient blob of taffy who constantly shape shifts, eats himself, and conjures up various desserts, and the scenes of the appropriately named Looney Land and it's inhabitants.

%% ** ''WebAnimation/ObjectTerror'', while having a mostly similar plot to ''Battle for Dream Island'', features it's group of objects getting killed and maimed in horrifically (and sometimes comedically) gory ways as if it's ''WebAnimation/HappyTreeFriends''.

* The logo for Wonk Inc. used on ''Adam [=DeVine=]'s House Party''. Starts with a photo of an outhouse with banjo music, then suddenly what appears to be Dr. Robotnik's demon brother pops up singing "Wonk wonk!". To most, it's a example of a unintentional jumpscare. To others, it makes them go "[[FlatWhat What.]]"

* ''WesternAnimation/TheThiefAndTheCobbler''. The movie's [[ReCut Recobbled Cut]] is both trippy as hell and ''awesome''. This isn't even talking about the ''chase scene'', the only part of the movie anybody remembers at all. (Don't worry, none of it is ''disturbing'' like ''Music/TheWall'' or anything, it just makes you question the creator's sanity. It's made by the same person who made the Raggedy Ann movie and the Creator/ChuckJones [[YetAnotherChristmasCarol A Christmas Carol]], so you know it's fucked up.)

* ''Toys/{{Poopsie}}'': A concept of another girls' TastesLikeDiabetes BlindBagCollectables toyline but with technicolor fantastic TalkingPoo and a common mytho of {{Unicorn}}s pooping rainbows resembles a hallucinogen trip. [[AudienceAlienatingPremise Many people were grossed out by such an idea.]]

** Lampshaded during one of ventriloquist comedian Creator/JeffDunham's bits, where Peanut accuses him of doing drugs, and Jeff repeatedly denies it. Peanut then suggests he was created on drugs to counter.

** In "Controlled Chaos", Peanut suggests that Jeff came up with José Jalapeno (On A Steek!) while drunk off his ass. Jeff denies it, but says that that's how he came up with Peanut.
* As Creator/EddieIzzard once said, "People think I'm on drugs, but I'm not, really. Just a little coffee... put me on ''drugs'' it has the ''opposite'' effect! I start going: 'Oh! Pensions! Very sensible. And car insurance, yes...'"
* Creator/AndyKaufman is another example of a 1970s performer whose work, from Foreign Man, to bringing a sleeping bag out on stage and ''taking a nap'', to reading from ''Literature/TheGreatGatsby'', to his various {{worked shoot}}s, to his posthumously published writings, would suggest he was on ''something'' illicit when he conceived them. But since childhood he had been prone to eccentric behavior (he conceived routines such as "Mighty Mouse" then), and his drinking and drug use as a teen hardly figured into his artistic equation. As an adult he was a near-health nut who practiced Transcendental Meditation.

* Creator/DavidCross has noted that he's offended when people ask him how high he was when he wrote a piece of comedy. He insists that all his comedy comes from hard work, not drugs. Mind you, he doesn't deny using drugs; he simply doesn't depend on drugs for his comedy.

*** Also worth mentioning is the attempts to interrelate Revelation with other bits and pieces of Biblical prophecy, and in particular the Old Testament Book of Daniel. Many Christians, particularly Protestants, see Revelation as being a sort of key that unlocks the mysteries of the rest of Biblical prophecy. This business only really began in the 19th century (although Christians have been finding interesting patterns and suchlike more or less since the canon of the Christian Bible was defined), and eventually led to things like ''Literature/LeftBehind'', so...use your judgement. (No pun intended).
** The book of Ezekiel is pretty trippy.

* WWE put on an even weirder event later that year in Saudi Arabia, called ''Crown Jewel''. While ''Crown Jewel'' wasn't nearly as long as ''[=WrestleMania=]'', it did, however, have two {{Shocking Swerve}}s that arguably exceeded anything that happened at ''[=WrestleMania=]'' that year.

* The web series ''WebAnimation/BattleForDreamIsland'', which is apparently a reality series where the contestants are anthropomorphic versions of common everyday household and/or natural objects.

* Artist and webcomic creator Creator/UrsulaVernon has done exactly one painting ([[http://www.redwombatstudio.com/wpg2?g2_itemId=1086 Toadback Road]]) inspired by ideas she got when smoking pot. The rest of her work, no matter how weird, plays this trope straight.
