The UltimateBlacksmith is the only person in the world that can turn that ingot of {{Phlebotinum}} into the InfinityPlusOneSword. Usually lives in a cave in a mountain on the edge of the world. The bottom edge. Guarded by a dragon with eight heads and twelve necks. Sometimes he is not guarded, hidden or the likes, but instead he has sworn never again to forge an instrument of bloodshed. In this case he must be persuaded to do so, which often turns out to be more complicated than the little dragon-problem. If persuaded, he will probably feature as the star of a ForgingScene.

*** While Guts' sword is well crafted and the blacksmith is a master, there isn't really anything special, magical, or Infinity Plus One about it. The swords real lethality comes simply from the fact that its a {{BFS}} and, as stated numerous times throughout the series, only Guts can effectively swing around something that huge.
*** Actually, it's been revealed that while it started out as a regular (if freakin' huge) sword, it's been slowly becoming something more, although it's been suggested in the book this has more to do with the thousands of demons it's killed.
