As explained at Dead Unicorn Trope, what counts isn't whether something is truth in television but whether it's used as a serious trope. I wouldn't be surprised if this really is a dead unicorn trope, but to say that it is, the text should explain how it counts within media rather than in relation to real life.


But even then, this is still a DeadUnicornTrope. When was the last time you saw an ''actual'' conspiracy theorist wear one of these, after all?
