Originally, he was a controversial, but well liked news source by people who were aginst the direction of the mainstream media, but as Gamergate ended, and people moved on, his content became more and more reactionary and even deranged at times whenever any sort of minority (especially LGBTQ characters) would show up in media, prompting almost everyone who once liked him to denounce him as part of the problem in gaming coverage and furthering the worst parts of teh gamer stereotype they're trying to shake off, and some are convinced he is some sort of parody account. So hard that it also caught SEED, a good and fondly remembered show, into the snark, though not for long.[[/labelnote]], ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam00''[[labelnote:note]]the show initially received a backlash upon the introduction of [[GameBreaker [=GN-X's=]]], which breaks the show's primary motives of the Gundams being superior warmachines used for violent peacekeeping by submitting other factions at bay when they incited a conflict, then received another one with the change-of-direction formula during the entirety of Season 2, resorting in more traditional resistance vs establishment storytelling that's been used in multiple works before (including Zeta Gundam, Wing, and SEED), though both were downplayed examples[[/labelnote]] and ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamAGE''[[labelnote:note]][[ArtstyleDissonance the kiddie-styling pasted over a serious war drama]], complete with many MerchandiseDriven element that made apparent that it veered more akin to a kid show kinda turned-off many viewers, but none so apparent than the Third Age [[{{Anvilicious}} overly-preachy nature against conflict and warfare]] that would make SEED Destiny felt like a child's play[[/labelnote]] were probably the ones that receives most of the snark, but shows from the nineties like ''Anime/MobileSuitVictoryGundam'' and ''Anime/MobileFighterGGundam'' also draws a lot of snark even during their heydays[[labelnote:note]]Victory receives a lot of flak due to [[DarknessInducedAudienceApathy depressing theme that goes over and over]], plenty of unlikable characters, [[AnyoneCanDie boatload of named character body count]], and really questionable design choice for it's mechanics that makes you wonder whether it's really fit well with later UC timeline at all. G Gundam receives flak for the exact opposite of the show's nature, even more questionable mechanical design, and many unfortunate implications with every stereotypical representation of every ethnicity presented. Administrivia/TropesAreNotBad, as the show is genuinely fun and has some memorable moments and characters, and is also one of the AU that managed to bring back Gundam to it's resurgence after the failing of Victory[[/labelnote]].
** Forget the fluke between Alternate Universes, one of the most snarked feature of Gundam in general were the [[CastFullOfPrettyBoys overabundant of Bishounen in the main roster]] and it's general consensus of being a Yaoi shipping fodder. ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing'' pretty much [[FranchiseOriginalSin responsible for kickstarting the idea]], but it's not going to become apparent after Gundam SEED. Today, the snark is not as frequent as years ago.

* ''ComicStrip/TheFamilyCircus'', thanks to TastesLikeDiabetes and the fact that it ran out of jokes sometime in the '70s. It's spawned several mutations, such as ''Webcomic/DysfunctionalFamilyCircus'' and "The [[Creator/FriedrichNietzsche Nietzsche]] Family Circus".

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Foodfight}}'' is regarding as one of the worst, if not ''the'' worst animated film ever made due to its usage of raunchy ToiletHumour ([[WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids despite supposedly being marketed towards children]]), its very blatant ProductPlacement, the '''[[SpecialEffectFailure extremely]]''' [[SpecialEffectFailure bad animation]], and the designs [[UncannyValley which are no better]]. So much so that it's become a debate over whether or not the film classifies as being SoBadItsGood or horrible.

* ''Literature/FiftyShadesOfGrey'' in general for its poor writing, overall smutty tone and increasingly bizarre metaphors, especially the part where Ana describes Christian's penis as "my very own Christian Grey-flavoured popsicle", as well as its origin as a ''Literature/{{Twilight}}'' fanfiction. The series has been parodied numerous times, e.g. by [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzS8ANZBRNo Jimmy Fallon]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3qZLrC7Ot4 barelypolitical]]. Mostly because the show didn't even bother to include many autistic people in it's production and milks the [[HollywoodAutism bad, outdated stereotypes]] for all it's worth. The autistic main character is portrayed as sex-obsessed, having a lack of common sense and [[VanillaProtagonist no other defining attributes outside of his autism]] and the other characters either started out as likeable and became more unsympathetic over time or were unlikeable from the very start. There's an entire hashtag dedicated to autistic people voicing their opinions against it.

* Netflix's ''Tall Girl'' became this as soon as the trailer was uploaded, due to the premise centering around a mildly tall girl facing issues with bullying and her miserable dating life... [[DisproportionateRetribution because she's tall]]. And she still continues to whine about that, even though [[{{Wangst}} she looks like a supermodel and lives in a three-story house]]. Also, none of the characters are likeable, the Tall Girl herself has all the personality of cardboard, with [[VanillaProtagonist liking musicals being her only defining character trait]] and her best friend/admirer is a [[CrazyJealousGuy jealous]] [[DoggedNiceGuy creep]]. The movie continues to be a target for MemeticMutation, especially since [[AudienceAlienatingPremise no-one knows who it was for]].

* For a while, the Fanfic/TropePantheons had sections dedicated to snarking: the "Fallen" and the "Disgraces", which catelogued characters and tropes with a negative reputation.
