One stray bolt catches Nobita in the rump, and would've killed him if not for the fact that the particular installment is a SuperheroEpisode where the cast gains invulnerability and enhanced strength. Still, it does hurt like crazy, necessitating Shizuka (who gains MakingASplash powers) to wet the spot on Nobita's butt.

* In the ''ComicBook/New52'' ComicBook/{{Deathstroke}}'' comic, ComicBook/HarleyQuinn shot ComicBook/LadyShiva in the ass to stop her from killing Rose Wilson.

* In Sir Thomas Malory's ''Literature/MorteDarthur'', there's a completely ridiculous moment where Lancelot is accidentally shot in the behind by a woman out hunting. That Malory's narration is completely matter-of-fact throughout just makes it funnier.

** ''Anime/FullMetalPanicFumoffu'': The trope is PlayedForLaughs. The boys are trying to spy on the girls while they are in the hot spring, Kurz is shot in the buttocks with a laser and loses the ability to to go on and must leave it to Shinji to protect the male honor.

* ''Film/MenAtWork'': When Carl sees Jack assaulting Susan in her apartment, he takes offense at it and decides to pay him out by shooting Jack with his pellet gun. He lands a shot in Jack's posterior, which sends him into a sitting position from which he can't seem to get up.

* ''WesternAnimation/RobinHood'': The little rabbit Skippy shoots Prince John in the rear with an arrow (it bounces off) during the big battle at the archery tournament. (Luckily for Skippy, it goes unnoticed as to just ''where'' the arrow came from, otherwise he would have been in ''serious'' trouble considering Prince John's general attitude at that point.)

* ''Animation/HappyHeroes'': In Season 6 episode 6, an alien bee chases after Careless S. and Little M. and shoots a stinger projectile at the latter, hitting him squarely in the bottom. The stinger causes Little M. to mutate into a half-bee monster.

* During the Lewis and Clark expedition, Lewis got hit in the buttocks by one member of the party while they were hunting. It got infected, but he recovered a few weeks later.

* ''Film/{{Protocol}}'': The premise has the main character saves a visiting Arab emir this way.

* ''Film/BadBoysII'': At the end of the first shootout, Mike, [[GunsAkimbo who is using two guns]], accidentally shoots his partner Marcus in the ass while trying to get the last KKK guy who had gotten the drop on him. Marcus suffers [[TheLoinsSleepTonight problems in the bedroom]] as a result of the ass-shot, and is only cured of his dysfunction accidentally ingesting some X (the drug whose traffic the two are trying to fight) during a trip to the morgue, leading to one of the most hilarious scenes in the movie.

* During the Lewis and Clark expedition, Lewis got hit in the buttocks by one member of the party while they were hunting. It got infected, but he recovered a few weeks later. Notable in that he actually used the words "shot me in the ass" in his journals.

* ''Literature/TheDresdenFiles'': In ''Literature/SmallFavor'', a bit thug named Bart accidentally gets shot in the ass by one of his associates. Harry's sidenotes in the [[TabletopGame/TheDresdenFiles RPG]] gleefully point this out.

* ''Manga/SpyXFamily'': In a bonus chapter, Yor gets shot in the butt while performing an assassination job. Loid, not knowing that Yor is an assassin, thinks Yor's discomfort and irritation are because of something ''he'' did and resolves to take her out on a date to make it up to her. Throughout the date, Yor refuses to sit for any reason because she knows it'll cause her intense pain. It reaches the point where she's hover-sitting at dinner and an attempt to poison her actually makes her feel ''better'' because it numbs the pain.

* ''Series/{{Friends}}'': In "The One Where The Monkey Gets Away", Phoebe is shot in the butt with a tranquilizer dart, as she dives to save Marcel (a monkey) from capture - in slow motion, to the theme of ''Film/{{Shaft}}''.

** Jenny Calendar also shoots him either in or very near the rear end with a crossbow bolt in "[[{{Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS2E11Ted}} Ted]]".
