* Ironically, the TropeNamer for LukeIAmYourFather himself suffers this; in ''Film/ThePhantomMenace'', Shmi Skywalker insists that there was no biological father she knows of, with WordOfGod later stating that Anakin was directly conceived by the Force. In follow-up film ''Film/RevengeOfTheSith'', Darth Sidious talks to Anakin about his own mentor, Darth Plagueis, who could manipulate the Force so well as to ''spontaneously create life'', quite blatantly implying that Darth Plagueis was Anakin's "father".

* In 2013 the tabloids had a field day after Creator/MiaFarrow stated that Music/FrankSinatra, not Creator/WoodyAllen, might have fathered her son, Ronan. Sinatra's daughters Tina and Nancy called the claim ridiculous, and said their father had a vasectomy years earlier. Since then, Farrow seems to have walked back the claim, which was conspicuously absent from the HBO documseries ''Allen v. Farrow''.

* In 2015 the tabloids had a field day after Mia Farrow stated that Music/FrankSinatra, not Creator/WoodyAllen, might have fathered her son, Ronan. Sinatra's daughter, Tina, denies the story, claiming her father had had a vasectomy years earlier.
