* ''Literature/MythAdventures'': Played straight with Trolls and Trollops (who are the males and females of a single species). Trolls are big ape-like creatures with shaggy green fur. Trollops look like really attractive human women [[YouGottaHaveBlueHair with green hair]].

* In ''VideoGame/KirbyAndTheForgottenLand'', Kirby fights against the Beast Pack, an army of {{Intelligent Gerbil}}s who have kidnapped the Waddle Dees for some unknown purpose. While they mostly look like {{Cartoon Creature}}s or [[NonStandardCharacterDesign realistic beasts]], one of their top enforcers is Clawroline, a [[CatGirl leopard girl]] with an [[ImpossibleHourglassFigure exaggeratedly curvy figure]] and ''makeup''.

* Gadget Hackwrench, the female mouse from ''WesternAnimation/ChipNDaleRescueRangers'', looks more human like than the male mouse Monterey Jack.

* A minor case appears in ''Pinball/DevilsDare''; the male green demons have visibly wrinkled wings, bald heads, and three-toed talon feet, while the female demons (on the original backglass art) resemble [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe green-skinned demonic babes]] with smooth wings.

* ''Tryrush Deppy'' applies this to ''cars''. The males simply look like cars standing upright on their rear wheels. The females look like [[ https://www.satakore.com/satengine/screenshots/T-21/T-21302G_4,,Sega-Saturn-Screenshot-1-Tryrush-Deppy-JPN.jpg this]].

** subverted now with the new Tauren models. Advancing technology has made it easier to give male models more human-like characteristics: and the Blizzard artists took advantage of that. Though there was also a lore reason, as the Tauren and other "beast races" were no longer conceived of as being quite so bestial.

* Downplayed in ''WesternAnimation/IceAgeDawnOfTheDinosaurs'', which introduces a female counterpart for Scrat. She looks quite similar to him, but has humanoid hips and a chest resembling breasts, and she appears to be wearing eye makeup.

* Downplayed in ''WEsternAnimation/{{Zootopia}}''; most of the animal citizens of the titular city have designs mostly accurate to their real-life counterparts regardless of gender. However, two particular female characters -- Judy Hopps and Gazelle -- have noticeably curvier, feminine figures with HartmanHips [[note]]In [[InkSuitActor Gazelle's]] case, [[Music/{{Shakira}} her voice actor]] actually [[WagTheDirector insisted]] that the former have curvier hips to match her own[[/note]]. Some inverted examples can also be seen in the case of [[DaChief Chief Bogo]] and Gazelle's male backup dancers, who have more masculine, [[{{Hunk}} hunkier]] appearances than most.

* This is taken to extremes in the ''ComicBook/TwoThousandAD'' strip "The Meltdown Man". Sergeant Nick Stone is blasted into the future, where he finds a race of genetically modified animals with human attributes. He allies himself with three of them, [[OurWerewolvesAreDifferent a male wolf]], [[ALoadOfBull a male bovine]], [[CatGirl and a female cat]]. * Downplayed in ''WesternAnimation/IceAge3DawnOfTheDinosaurs'', which introduces a female counterpart for Scrat. She looks quite similar to him, but has humanoid hips and a chest resembling breasts, and she appears to be wearing eye makeup.

* Every character in the world of ''Montana Jones'' (an Franchise/IndianaJones {{Expy}}) is an [[CatFolk anthropomorphic feline]]. While their bodies are like those of humans, they have fur, and their heads resemble the ones of big cats, like for example tigers - with the notable exception of Melissa Sone, who basically looks like a human [[CatGirl female with cat ears and cat nose]]. No fur (or fur that just happens to have the colour of Caucasian skin?), and no protruding animal-like muzzle.

* WesternAnimation/BettyBoop [[EarlyInstallmentWeirdness started life as one of these]]. Although she was intended as the girlfriend of the studio's dog character Bimbo, her canine features were pretty much limited to a {{Dogface}} nose and dangling ears, which evolved into her more familiar hoop earrings.

* Subverted: Abby Mallard in ''WesternAnimation/ChickenLittle'' does not look noticeably more humanoid than Chicken Little, although Runt looks a bit more like either a pig or a really fat person.

* Goldie the golden pheasant from ''WesternAnimation/RockADoodle'' has an extremely ''extremely'' humanoid figure, and her feet are drawn to look like high heels. Her silhouette looks nothing like a pheasant and everything like a human woman with feathers and a beak added. However, her love interest Chanticleer looks more like an actual rooster with human arms instead of wings; every animal in the film not named Goldie, while still anthropomorphic, bears a much stronger resemblance to their intended species than she does.

In other words, the female animals tend to be at least a half-notch closer to the "human" end of the SlidingScaleOfAnthropomorphism than the male animals, to the point of looking like outright BeastMen compared to their male equivalents. Because of this, they are rarely ever depicted as [[AccessoryWearingCartoonAnimal Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animals]] or [[HalfDressedCartoonAnimal Half-Dressed Cartoon Animals]] due to the awkwardness doing so would create, often leading to the PantslessMalesFullyDressedFemales phenomenon.

* Inverted in ''Shining Force''. Kris and Alf in ''Shining Force'' feature very canine features, Sarah and May do so in ''Shining Force the Sword of Hajya'', and so does Grace in ''Shining Force 3''.

** [[MsFanservice Candy Kong]] (see picture) is far more human than any of the other Kongs in the original ''VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry1''. Dixie and Wrinkly, who were both introduced in ''VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry2DiddysKongQuest'', aren't nearly as humanoid.

* Maid Marian from Disney's ''WesternAnimation/RobinHood''. What makes this even more obvious is the fact that ''all'' of her dance moves are based on those of ''WesternAnimation/SnowWhite''!

* The Rat God from ''VideoGame/MadRatDead'' looks less like a rat and more like a human woman with a rat's ears and tail. It becomes egregious when you compare her to (the male) Mad Rat, who is basically a cartoon rat. [[spoiler: A JustifiedTrope because the Rat God isn't even a rat at all, she's a parasite infecting Mad Rat's brain, causing him to hallucinate. Her true parasitic form resembles a cluster of neon-colored eyes.]]
