[[CaptainObvious A lot of video games involve characters]]. Sometimes those characters get it on. Of course, since this is a ''video game'', it's only a couple more steps of logic to present those, err, [[IsThatWhatTheyreCallingItNow activities]] as part of gameplay. The result is this trope, [[TropeNamers so named]] after the UnusualEuphemism used in ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoSanAndreas''. (See below for more details on its amusing history.)

[[AC:RealTimeStrategy]]
* ''[[VideoGame/StarControl Star Control II]]'' has this within the storyline, though it's not especially smutty (the screen goes black and the DialogueTree goes suggestive).

* ''Custer's Revenge''; the first rape simulation game? Or HGame?
** ''Custer's Revenge'' is a special kind of failure; not only did it involve ''[[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil rape]]'', everything was incredibly pixelated and blocky due to the limitations of technology at that time.

The entire goal of ''Custer's Revenge'' is to have sex with a special kind of failure; not only did it involve ''[[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil rape]]'', everything was native woman while dodging incoming spears. At least, it's generally agreed that that's what's going on, as the incredibly pixelated and blocky due bad graphics (even for its day) make it hard to tell. [[note]]It ''might'' also be [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil rape]] rather than a consensual sexual encounter. Did I mention the limitations of technology at that time.
graphics are bad?[[/note]]

* Subverted in ''[[Franchise/JakAndDaxter Jak X]]'' where unlocking the bonus content titled "Hot Coffee" shows a quick scene with Daxter and Tess drinking coffee, then Daxter looks at the camera and snaps, ''"What!?"''
* Subverted again in ''VideoGame/{{Lair}}'', when viewing the unlockable "Hot Coffee" content takes you to a scene... Of some making hot coffee with a brewer.

[[AC:RhythmGame]]
* The Bossa Nova minigame in ''[[VideoGame/RhythmHeaven Rhythm Heaven Fever]]'' is an...odd case of this. While the visuals aren't sexual in any way, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMdZguzq9Vg the noises the two characters make throughout the song]] are clearly meant to remind you of [[ImmodestOrgasm something]].

* At least two different mods add such minigames to ''VideoGame/TheElderScrollsIVOblivion''. One is actually pretty decent, if you can find the translation patch and get past the NintendoHard[=-ness=] of it.

Added DiffLines:

* ''VideoGame/WayOfTheSamurai 4'' has "night crawling" activities, where you set up a rendezvous with a female NPC, sneak into their house at night and find her, and then take them to an inn. There, you partake in "sexy time"; a.k.a. fight her until her most of her clothes fall off. Yes, it actually is historically accurate (except for the fighting part)

** With ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoIV'', the reactions of the MoralGuardians are HilariousInHindsight. While you still do not see anything when you go up to a girlfriend's apartment, the prostitution cutscenes have gotten upgraded to a full OptionalSexualEncounter - including a choice of services, and realistic animations to go with them. While the characters [[RightThroughHisPants remain clothed]] and [[SceneryCensor partially-obscured]], it essentially boils down to Hot Coffee - minus the interactivity. While that itself means that it isn't part of this trope, it's still pretty interesting that the MoralGuardians haven't said 'boo' about it. Apparently sex is okay in video games, as long as you can't ''interact'' with it. Despite all the [[VideoGameCrueltyPotential various illegal activities one can do]] in the series, [[SelectiveEnforcement a perfectly legal and consensual heterosexual encounter]] is what raised the most controversy.

Please note that this trope does not concern the depiction of sex in a video game; that falls under "OptionalSexualEncounter." This trope concerns when said encounter is ''interactive''. If the player doesn't have some control over what happens, it doesn't count. This means games like ''VideoGame/TheSims'' are right out, since you can tell your characters to "[[UnusualEuphemism Woohoo]]," but the act itself is a CutScene with no interactivity. Of course, {{Rule 34}} being what it is, there are {{Game Mod}}s which make Woohoo interactive. Those ''do'' fall under this trope. (Again, more on that below.)

notwithstanding.

* Each ''VideoGame/GodOfWar'' game has one. Amusingly, they are [[NotSafeForWork Safe For Work Everywhere But America]] (SFWEBUS), since the [[PressXToNotDie Quick Time Event]] takes place against a SexyDiscretionShot background.
** ''III'' seems to have missed the point of a SexyDiscretionShot. When the minigame starts, the camera pans... to Aphrodite's two half-naked handmaidens fondling each other while watching the action and eventually starting a private minigame themselves offscreen.
*** RuleOfFunny, maybe?

background. ''III'' seems to have missed does something similar, but subverts the point of a SexyDiscretionShot. When the minigame starts, SexyDiscretionShot by panning the camera pans... to Aphrodite's two half-naked handmaidens fondling each other while watching the action and eventually starting a private minigame themselves offscreen.

* In ''Videogame/HuniePop'', once you manage to get a girl back to your bedroom, you must complete a faster-paced version of the match-three puzzles in which you must fill a rapidly-draining bar by matching shapes, with each matches earning you a moan of pleasure.

* This is one of the selling points for ''VideoGame/ValhallaKnights3'' as spending enough money in a shop results in a little "Sexy Time" with the hostess and the game makes you work that touch screen!
