** They aren't the only Batman characters with green eyes, either. With [[DependingOnTheArtist respect to different artists]], SelfDemonstrating/TheJoker is often portrayed with green eyes (the shade varies) when a close-up of them is shown. This is, of course, going more with the "untrustworthy" and "spitfire" aspects of his personality, since [[BadassNormal he doesn't technically have any superpowers]] [[PowerBornOfMadness besides insanity]] (or, sometimes, "super-sanity"). It could also be to match his [[YouGottaHaveBlueHair hair color]] or to tie him to his [[TechnicolorScience chemical bath-based origin]]...

* ''Film/ThreeTenToYuma'', Ben Wade is attracted to girls with green eyes. Interestingly, Alice, Dan Evan's wife, has green eyes, making some viewers speculate that [[spoiler:Alice was Velvet, a girl from San Francisco whom Ben Wade had an affair with, and other subtle hints leading other viewers (or the same) that William, Dan Evan's son, could be indeed Ben Wade's son]]. It should be noted that this is [[WordOfGod unintentional from the filmmakers]] and that it does not appear in the original short story.

* In MichaelFlynn's ''[[Literature/SpiralArm January Dancer]]'', the woman is introduced as having green eyes -- not like grass but like flint -- before her name is even given.

** In [[Film/HarryPotter the movies]], they're blue instead - DanielRadcliffe couldn't stand the green lenses. ** Isamu and his Clefairy from ''Manga/PocketMonsters'' have green eyes. Their Pikachu had it too, but he's since evolved into the typical BrownEyes of the game.

* The Mad Hatter, in Creator/TimBurton's ''Film/AliceInWonderland'', has extremely bright green eyes, though they turn a disturbing reddish-gold when he's agitated. The Cheshire Cat also has unnervingly huge green eyes.

* Kestrel from ''Webcomic/QueenOfWands'' and, later, ''SomethingPositive'', where she's notably the only character to have colored eyes.

** Beatrice from ''TheDreamer'' has green eyes and brown/auburn hair.

* In ''Franchise/{{Bionicle}}'''s first year, green eyes were exclusive to Earth (dark green) and Air (lime) element characters. In 2004 and 2005, Fire characters were given lime eyes as well (while the Air element switched to red). Then, from 2006 to 2008, ''all'' heroic characters became lime-eyed. Meanwhile, orange and red came to represent evil.

* Irena Gallier in ''Film/CatPeople'', for which DavidBowie's eponymous song was written (see quote at top of page), has green eyes and is a werepanther. Her brother, however, also a werepanther, has [[http://images2.layoutsparks.com/1/161378/alex-de-large-bordered-31000.jpg violet eyes]].

* Akhor the Silver King of the [[OurDragonsAreDifferent Kantri]] in ''Literature/TalesOfKolmar'' is green-eyed with a matching soulgem. His birth was seen as an omen, though none knew of what - admittedly this was because he was silver, for green eyes aren't rare for his kind. Still, the [[OurGodsAreGreater Winds]] gave him [[spoiler:a human body]] when he was dying. Even then he had the same eyes, and "the eyes of a dragon are perilous deep".

* ''Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion'' examples: [[HotScientist Yui Ikari]], [[MrExposition Ritsuko Akagi]], ''RebuildOfEvangelion'''s newest AcePilot [[BloodKnight Mari Illustrious Makinami]] (though hers are blue-green) and ''[[EverythingsBetterWithPenguins PenPen]]''.

** It even leads Caesar's mom to be nicknamed "Bright Eyes" - [[MythologyGag the same name Zira gave to]] CharltonHeston's Taylor in ''PlanetOfTheApes'' (though Heston's eyes are blue).

* [[NorseMythology Loki]] of ''Manga/MythicalDetectiveLokiRagnarok'' is a ever mystical green-eyed redhead.

* Finnick Odair and Annie Cresta from ''Literature/TheHungerGames'' are both described as having beautiful "sea green eyes", which actually seems to be a common trait where they come from, District Four, the fishing district. While Annie is noted several times as being a quite lovely young lady, this trope is even more fitting for Finnick, who is essentially a [[MemeticSexGod memetic sex god]], both in and out of universe.

* ''Series/TheOuterLimits1995'': In "Last Supper", the immortal Laura/Jade's eyes are shown to be a very striking [[MeaningfulName jade-green]] to signify that there's something unnatural about her.

* In the new ''Series/{{Battlestar Galactica|Reimagined}}'', Starbuck and Dee are the only characters with green eyes (albeit slightly different in shade). This is their only point of physical resemblance besides being female...[[spoiler:which is slightly ironic considering Apollo is in love with one of them and marries the other]].

* In the classic ''Series/{{Battlestar Galactica|Classic}}'', Apollo is the only character in the main cast to have green eyes.

*** And then there's his [[OppositeSexClone female clone]]/daughter figure, {{X-23}}, who also has green eyes.

* Makoto/Sailor Jupiter from ''Manga/SailorMoon'' has green eyes to underline her association with [[ElementalEyeColors plants and wood]].
