** BigBad Captain Morgan is revealed to have been a part of Captain Kuro's backstory, when the latter massacred an entire ship that the former had been part of the crew of, leaving only Morgan alive. Morgan then pulls this, only for Kuro to reveal that he needs Morgan alive as part of his plan to fake his own death. Thanks to hypnosis, Morgan doesn't remain aware of this long.
