* ''WesternAnimation/TheGoodTheBadAndHuckleberryHound'': Although she is the [[TheChiefsDaughter daughter of the Native American chief]], Desert Flower is named due to her likeness of flowers in the valley and even wears her [[FlowerMotifs]].

* Princess Daisy from the ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'' series is a well known example, followed years later by Prince Florian of the Flower Kingdom in ''VideoGame/SuperMarioBrosWonder''[[labelnote:*]] (which, incidentally, would be Daisy's first playable appearance in a main series console game)[[/labelnote]].
