After realizing they're evenly matched, the Toa [[OpponentSwitch swap their duplicates]] and destroy them with their ElementalPowers. However, this scenario is actually a {{retcon}} of the originally intended ending, in which the Toa accept their shadow counterparts as representations of their own evil and thus make them vanish.
