* Uma Thurman pulls off some truly amazing ones in ''Film/KillBill''. Particularly notable is the one directed at O-Ren Ishii in the scene where she's about to fight the Crazy 88.

* Every carnivorous dinosaur in the ''Franchse/JurassicPark'' movie series has this ominous glare. Special mention goes to The Big One in the [[Film/JurassicPark first movie]], the ''Pteranodon'' in the [[Film/JurassicParkIII third]], and the ''Indominus rex'' in the [[Film/JurassicWorld fourth movie.]]

* In the ''[[Franchise/ShinMegamiTenseiPersona Persona]]'' games from ''VideoGame/{{Persona 3}}'' onward, whenever a Persona-user is about to get a critical hit or strike at an elemental weakness of their enemies, it activates a SuperMovePortraitAttack focusing on the Persona-user's eyes striking an angry expression. ''VideoGame/{{Persona 5}}'' takes it even further, with the character's 3d model sporting a spooky FaceFramedInShadow along with the standard angry eye cut in.

* ''WesternAnimation/The Land Before Time'': [[TyrannosaurusRex Sharptooth]], who's expression in the whole film is nothing but pure rage and [[TheUnfettered persistence]], especially towards the main characters, particularly Littlefoot and Cera.

** Also for the imperium Commissar Yarrick, same deal. Currently it is an EyeBeam attack but he used to just be rumored to kill orks at a glance. That's the point: when he heard the rumor, he ''[[EyeScream instantly plucked out his eyeball]] [[CrazyAwesome and replaced it with a laser]]'' to live up to his reputation.

** In ''VideoGame/MassEffect2'', Tali'Zorah is a Quarian, whose race was almost annihilated when they accidentially created a race of sentient robots, with the few survivors having been forced to live in space on ancient dreadnoughts for several hundred years. When she is recruited to the Normandy [=SR2=], she makes it very clear that she think it's a crazy idea to work with the human-supremacist group Cerberus and they can't be trusted a single bit, despite Jacob's best attempts to assure her that this group didn't have anything to do with the crimes and devastating experiments other chapters have commited. When she is about to leave the room, Jacob tells her to introduce herself to the ship's sentient AI, causing her to freeze in her tracks. She doesn't say anything and just stares back over her shoulder for a few very long seconds; if looks could kill, Jacob would have been vaporized along with the entire aft bulkhead.[[note]]It should be noted that Quarians are infamous for the fact that they were exiled from their home planet after losing millions to a race of sentient AI; To Tali, Jacob's suggestion was the equivalent of suggesting someone of Jewish lineage go strike up a conversation with a member of the Aryan Brotherhood.[[/note]] The fact that she manages to do this through a near completely opaque/reflective helmet makes it all the more frightening.
