** A bloodline of Clan Mekhet can daywalk...or so it seems. It's actually a combination of Auspex and Majesty that lets them project their forms. It's not solid, however...but the Majesty aspect fools all five senses into thinking that there's a real vampire standing in the middle of the noonday sun. This trick, however, requires two disciplines at rank five, and a Bloodline Devotion to boot, meaning that it's EXTREMELY rare. * ''Franchise/MortalKombat'': Nitara freely walks in the sun. It is explained that only Earthrealm's sun is hazardous to vampires, so she can freely move on Outworld and other worlds during the daytime.
* ''VideoGame/MightAndMagic VIII'' mentions that the Necromancer's Guild of Shadowspire has been able to create a special kind of amulet that allows vampires wearing it to freely walk about in daylight (and that allows ''other'' magical amulets to be worn at the same type). This is mostly to justify why vampires in the player party aren't affected by the sun -- the same dialogue that mentions the amulet also confirms creating it is too costly and and time-consuming to do in significant quantities, which is why part of the plot is the Guild looking to regain their [[TheNightThatNeverEnds other creation]] meant to allow vampires to operate at any time of the day.

* In ''TabletopGame/VampireTheRequiem'', a bloodline of Clan Mekhet can daywalk...or so it seems. Only a very specific sect of Ancient Egyptian vampires, the Bak-Ra (the Servants of Ra), can pull it off.

*** The Blood and Smoke/Requiem 2e rules update changes this around a little bit. Daywalking is possible, but painful if you have blood to spare and are low enough on the PowerMeter and high enough on Humanity (Higher Humanity makes the damage less painful, lower Blood Potency makes it tick less frequently. A BP 1 Humanity 7 Vampire takes one point of lethal every ten minutes. With blood to spare, you can spend just shy of two hours in the sun...just watch out for people wondering why you're smoking). That said, once again, the Ordo Dracul can cheat this a bit to move you around on the chart to take less damage less frequently.
