Just as The Chick may be part of a PowerTrio with TheLeader and TheLancer, the Dark Chick tends to promote to [[CoDragons Co-Dragon]], or just become TheDragon of her team. If the Dark Chick is [[DarkMistress somehow]] [[DaddysLittleVillain related]] to the main villain, this chance rises to a near certainty. As do the odds of her [[HighHeelFaceTurn leaving her boss]], if his actions repulse her enough, [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness for]] [[MistreatmentInducedBetrayal whatever]] [[NotWhatISignedOnFor reason]], to hook up with TheHero or TheLancer, because FemalesAreMoreInnocent.

The Chick is often TheHeart of the ensemble and is good at reading emotions, resolving fights, and keeping an eye on the big picture. The Dark Chick possesses all of these strengths, and weaponizes them:

* Both Kanon Maldini and Nina Einstein (mix of this and EvilGenius) from ''Anime/CodeGeass'' fulfill this role for Schneizel El Britannia.

** ''Series/KamenRiderSuper1'' has effeminite Jin Dogma executive Princess Yokai.

** ''Series/KamenRiderSaber'': [[DarkActionGirl Reika Shindai]] takes this role in the second arc, where she manipulates the Sword of Logos Kamen Riders into turning against Touma and [[DivideAndConqueror plays them against each other]] in order to collect their Seiken.

** ''Series/KamenRiderDrive'' has Medic. She acts as the healer of the Roidmudes, is a MadDoctor who's extremely cold-hearted yet also capable of being cutesy, and very affectionate towards those she actually does care about, that being Heart.

** ''Series/ChouseishinGransazer'' has Karin Saeki, a Warp Monarch alien assuming the guise of a dead woman who manipulates the Gransazers into fighting each other and takes full advantage of her beautiful appearance to captivate Akira into being her pawn. Mariah is more hands-on and simply tries to kill him on the spot. There is also Maxine in that story but she works behind the scenes. All three women work for the same organization and make catty comments about each other quite a bit (Blue Eyes mostly does it in a separate story).

** ''Series/ChoujuuSentaiLiveman'': Doctor Mazenda, the vain female executive of the Armed Brain Army Volt. Sure enoguh, she has a rivalry with [[TheChick Megumi]], who was her roommate before she decided to turn evil.

Simply put, the EvilCounterpart to TheChick. She is often set up as a direct foil to The Chick, and a DesignatedGirlFight ''will'' ensue if each sticks around long enough.

** Wolfrun, another male, in ''Anime/SmilePrettyCure'' since Majorina is the EvilGenius and he's one of the more good looking villains.

* Aaroniero Arrurei and Zommari Rureaux are the Dark Chicks of Aizen's army in ''Manga/{{Bleach}}''. Both are [[TokenMinority Token Minorities]] (EldritchAbomination and ScaryBlackMan respectively) both are far less than stable, even for Arrancar, and both are definitely weird.

* [=LadyDevimon=] from both ''Anime/DigimonAdventure'' and ''Anime/DigimonAdventure02''. In her first appearance she's the new Dragon to Piedmon after the other Dark Masters are eliminated, and both times she's really just there to have a DesignatedGirlFight with Angewomon.

* Aaronerio Arrurei and Zommari Leroux are the Dark Chicks of Aizen's army in ''Manga/{{Bleach}}''. Both are [[TokenMinority Token Minorities]] (EldritchAbomination and ScaryBlackMan respectively) both are far less than stable, even for Arrancar, and both are definitely weird.

* In ''Manga/FullmetalAlchemist'', Lust. The only unambiguously female member of the Homunculi. She's also a manipulator on a team of arrogant brutes and sociopaths.

** Tayuya. Foul-mouthed, arrogant, and [[strike:one of]] ''the'' least effeminate ninja the Sound village have ever produced (and one of the only females), she hates her teammates at least as much as she hates the enemy. Despite that she's also the second-in-command of the [[QuirkyMinibossSquad Sound Four]] and a DarkActionGirl, based on the impressively kinetic face-punching she inflicts on the titular character.

** In the 2012 series she again becomes TheDragon over Xever and Bradford, has a love hate relationship with Leonardo (DatingCatwoman made more complicated [[spoiler: when he finds out she's his sister]]. While she's loyal through and through to Shredder, she also just likes causing chaos and seeking excitement and weirdness.
