* The Ammo Army Soldiers Twitch and Vinegar in ''VideoGame/{{Shantae}}'' wear custom uniforms that are much more revealing than what a normal Ammo Soldier would be issued. While Ammo Soldiers wear blue trenchcoats, and khaki fatigues pants as part of their uniform, Twitch wears a white crop-top with a frilly blue miniskirt, while Vinegar wears an orange bodysuit with blue pauldrons, and a blue miniskirt.
* Selvaria in ''VideoGame/ValkyriaChronicles''. The Empire doesn't exactly have a standardized uniform (unlike the good guys, emphasizing their lack of teamwork), but they ''are'' all PuttingOnTheReich, and Selvaria's outfit is the only one that has spike heels, skintight leggings, a mini-skirt with a hip-high slit up the side, and a backless halter top. She's also the only female villain.

Despite this trope's name, it is more likely to be a NonuniformUniform than a flat-out CustomUniform, meaning it will still have elements of the standard outfit while showing more skin.

*** The heels were more for practicality in camera framing, though, as Nana Visitor is quite short of stature compared to her 6'-and-taller co-stars.

** In every MirrorUniverse episode of any ''Franchise/StarTrek'' series, the female leads are always in ridiculously over-the-top Fetish Fuel outfits. Given that the women make no bones about [[FemmeFatale using sex to advance their interests]], you could say it was a JustifiedTrope.

*** It could be excused here as Cadman was 'off-duty' at the time. And being an explosives expert, she'd likely forgo any unnecessary procedure given that there was a bomb [[spoiler:(or so they thought at the time)]], about to go off.

** Downplayed in the first season: Despite Barbara Bain's obvious star status, and her character, Dr. Russell, being not just the lead female character but the only woman of any consequence, she wears the same unisex jumpsuit as everybody else. But unlike the other women's uniforms (which according to the producers were designed to de-emphasize their bodies), hers is almost skintight, and unlike the other women, she also seems to be wearing a bra which emphasizes her breasts. The result is that she looks much curvier than her colleagues.

** Somewhat {{lampshade|Hanging}}d in-universe, as she probably dresses that way [[FridgeBrilliance because of her mission to seduce Tyler.]]

* ''Series/{{Scrubs}}'': In "My Life in Four Cameras", JD has a lengthy fantasy about being in a cliché-filled sitcom, wherein all of the female characters, save Jordan, wear titillating nurse uniforms while the men are dressed realistically. This is more a parody of other medical dramas where the women will dress in low cut tops and the like.

** Rangiku wears the standard shinigami black kimono, cut low to show her cleavage. Nemu Kurotsuchi, the only Shinigami in a skirt, somewhat squicky given her relationship with her '[[OppositeSexClone father]]'. Kenpachi shows off his chest, and Hisagi shows off his arms.

* Other than thigh high socks and stiletto heeled boots Meiko from ''Manga/PrisonSchool'' wears her school's standard female uniform. The main difference is that most of her shirt is unbuttoned revealing her cleavage and then some and her skirt is so short that even slightly bending over reveals her panties.

* Elizabetta of ''Manga/WelcomeToDemonSchoolIrumaKun''. Who parades around in what can best be described as a [[https://i.pinimg.com/736x/aa/99/b1/aa99b1f103991868d7c2f47e04c80018.jpg stripper version of the school's normal uniform.]]

** ComicBook/EmmaFrost is the most notable, even in her ''ComicBook/GenerationX'' days. Her version of a standard uniform, until ''Marvel Now'', always white, ''always'' shows more skin, and usually comes with CombatStilettos. This probably has the most in-character significance, since it shows her willingness to bend the rules and use sexuality as a weapon. As of ''Marvel Now'' her uniforms are black, and ''slightly'' less overtly sexy.

* [[BlueSkinnedSpaceBabe Aayla Secura]] in ''Franchise/StarWars'' wears a [[BareYourMidriff midriff-baring]] top and jeans, at odds with the traditional Jedi robes. She's not breaking any rules, though - the robes aren't mandatory and the robes themselves aren't uniform from Jedi to Jedi. The main reason she is dressed that way is because she's a Twilek, who [[MsFanservice traditionally wear less clothing]]. Compared to other Twilek females, she's exceptionally modest.

** De-[[EnforcedTrope enforced]] in ''Series/StargateSG1'': original character design for Samantha Carter (the only female on her team, but not by any means TheChick) had her in a skimpier version of the standard military duds everyone else was wearing. Actress Amanda Tapping complained that the design was firstly very unrealistic and secondly pretty sexist, and even refused to play the character if she was going to be demoted to eye candy. The producers thought it over and agreed that enforcing the trope, at least for active combatants, was pretty stupid, and so Carter wears a typical uniform on the show, although they did make efforts to sexy her up whenever was some excuse.

*** And then in the last few episodes of the final season, they gave her a temporary Starfleet comission so she could [[spoiler:serve with the Cardassian Resistance]], and she looked even hotter.

*** In the episode "What Are Little Girls Made Of?" Dr. Corby and his android assistants wear two-tone overalls over black shirts - except the female android, who has no shirt, leaving her breasts covered only by the overall straps.

** Solid Snake, only his uniform is a custom version of RealLife. Most of what he wears has ''some'' real-life basis, but it's [[RummageSaleReject a mish-mash of uniforms from all over the world rather than on any one particular set of gear]], and then "customised" to look more revealing and sexy. For instance, the vest Snake wears in ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid'' is fairly closely based on a certain real life Navy vest, only Snake's is [[FormFittingWardrobe anatomically correct]] and fastens differently so more of the chest is visible.

* In ''Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann'', Team Dai-Gurren post-TimeSkip are a government-supported paramilitary organisation, complete with uniforms. However, Yoko is just as {{Stripperiffic}} as ever, and Simon spends the final battle shirtless save for a man-corset.
** Justified on Yoko's case, since she wasn't part of the government and became a teacher after they defeated Lordgenome, and we see her wearing a [[HotTeacher more appropriate clothing for that job]]... however as soon as a [[AdrenalineMakeover danger appeared she quickly went back to her old style]]

* ''Series/{{Farscape}}'': While the Peacekeepr uniforms have a lot of variation they're at least all relatively modest with the exception of [[FemmeFatale Commandant Mele-on Grayza]]. Her typical outfit includes a jacket with beaded trim and AbsoluteCleavage that exposes a great deal of her chest.

** Played straight once Catherine Schell joined the series in the second season. Her character, Maya, tends to wear uniforms cut just enough to ramp up the sex appeal. She is also often seen wearing a skirt with her uniform.

** Originally completely averted by Susan Storm/Richards, who wore first street clothes, then a uniform essentially identical to her teammates'. (Tailored to fit, but not to be skintight or anything.) Since then, there have been occasional exceptions. The most notable being the period in UsefulNotes/{{the Dark Age|of Comic Books}} where she wore a thong and the "4" on her chest was cut into a CleavageWindow. The ludicrousness of the look was pointed out quite a bit. Even Reed chided her for "traipsing around half-naked in that ridiculous new costume". It was later revealed that she was under subtle mind control...or something. There have been other times where she wore a feminized version of the Fantastic Four uniform, but they managed to be far more tasteful.

* Whenever the main cast of ''Anime/{{Doraemon}}'' play dress up in a {{Sentai}} fashion, [[TheChick Shizuka Minamoto]] will end up wearing a different outfit - often more revealing one.
