* ''WesternAnimation/{{Dinotrux}}'': This has to be expected from the animated show that features [[AnimalVehicleHybrid prehistoric creatures mixed with vehicles]]. You can undoubtedly know that few terrifying - yet awesome - creatures would appear in this kind of setting.
** Scraptors are essentially mechanical [[RaptorAttack raptors]] from {{Film/Jurassic Park}} that are not only fast and [[SuperPersistentPredator won't let up until they catch their prey]], but can also use their talons as ''[[GrapplingHookPistol grappling hooks]]''.
** The same applies to their [[AirborneMook flying counterparts]], mechanical pterosaurs called [[TerrorDactyl Scrapadactyls]]. And if you think they can't get any cooler, meet their cousins Stealth Scrapadactyls who have ''[[LaserSight laserbeams as eyes]]''.
** Splitter is a mechanical ''Dimetrodon'' with ''[[ChainsawGood freaking]] [[SawBladesofDeath saws]]'' on the sides of his body, and even a larger one as his sail! Thanks to this series, ''Dimetrodon'' is even more awesome than before!
** When the ''Parasaurolophus'' appear in the media featuring dinosaurs, they're always depicted as [[SocialOrnithopod graceful]], [[HerbivoresAreFriendly friendly dinosaurs]]. [[WellThisIsNotThatTrope Well not this time!]] Meet Pounder, half-''Parasaurolophus'', half-piledriver who uses his head to [[ExactlyWhatItSaysonTheTin pound]] everything ''and'' everyone he sees in his path. Time where ornithopods were [[RedShirt punching bags]] is over now...
** You thought ''[[Film/JurassicWorld Mosasaurus]]'' is scary? Meet her mechanical cousins - the Aquadons! These half-''Mosasaur'', half-submarine aquatic species of Dinotrux not only put a decent fight to land-dwelling Trux and Tools, but also have ''[[SawBladesofDeath giant saw]]'' as their [[ThreateningShark dorsal fin]] which they can use to ''cut through your boat''. Indeed, [[Film/{{Jaws}} you're gonna have to find a stronger boat]]...
** You probably didn't expected that the scariest creature from the show is actually a [[GentleGiantSauropod sauropod]], didn't you? Well, meet [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast Dreadtrux]] - half-''Dreadnoughtus'' and half-Bucket-wheel excavator, and the biggest of all Dinotrux, even dwarfing the Craneosaurus. It lives up to it's [[MeaningfulName name]] due to the fact that other [[TheDreaded creatures leave when they sense it's presence]]. [[spoiler:And what's makes this Trux more awesome, is that [[AllLovingHero Ty]] [[BeyondTheImpossible managed to befriend one]], and with her help, he and his friends [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome built their biggest build ever in the equally awesome sequence!!!]]]]
** [[SavageSpinosaurs Shredadon]] (half-Suchomimus, half-scrap metal shredder) makes spinosaurus from {{Film/Jurassic Park III}} look like a compy due to its shredding mechanism. How? This beast can reduce anyone with its mouth into what could be considered a ''LudicrousGibs''. Essentialy this guy could be considered a RedeemingReplacement to Splitter, since both of them are very dangerous Dinotrux with sharp weapons, but unlike Splitter, one of this Trux actually befriended the gang after Ace [[AndroclesLion repaired him]]!

* Bacteriophage viruses look creepily unnatural, with their thin bodies, microscopically thin 'legs' and strange bulbous heads that make them look like tiny robot-spiders, and their main method of attacking/reproducing being 'landing' on top of a larger cell and quite literally injecting it with its own DNA. They're so distinct compared to the mostly amorphous single-celled organisms that inhabit the world that they wind back up to being cool, and it helps that they're completely harmless to living beings and do fundamental cleanup work that prevents bacterias from reproducing too much.
