* In ''Series/{{Dollhouse}}'' (another Joss show), there's a lot of hyperactive BuffySpeak from Topher.

* From the ''LegendOfTheSeeker'' episode "Sanctuary" comes the line, "That swindler's as blind as . . . something . . . that can't see well." It's entirely plausible that the midlands don't have bats. Also, it's possible that halfway through the sentence he remembered that bats actually have excellent eyesight.
