* In ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening'', there's Sully, the [[MasculineGirlFeminineBoy Masculine Girl]] to Stahl's Feminine Boy, who dons short hair and is a gruff tomboy keen on getting stronger. At least part of that was because she was the only girl in a family full of boys, and desired to emulate her older brothers. [[spoiler: Her daughter]] Kjelle, while having slightly longer hair, is much the same way as Sully. It IS possible to give the Female Avatar this haircut.
* In ''VideoGame/FireEmblemFates'', Princess Hinoka of Hoshido can be said to be Sully's {{Expy}}, a tomboy obsessed with getting stronger, a lean body, and BoyishShortHair. It's not obvious at first glance, due to the headdress she wears, but Rinkah of the Flame Tribe also sports this haircut, with a HotBlooded personality to match. Then there's Scarlet, a rebel from Cheve and a BloodKnight. Again, it's possible to give the Female Avatar this haircut.

** Sapphire from ''PokemonSpecial'' won't be winning any awards for femininity anytime soon and her hair isn't particularly long; the bangs are rather exagerrated though. [[spoiler:{{Averted}} in the past where she was a big girly-girly and sported the same haircut]].

* Princess Daisy's hair in ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'' hair was originally long but she cut off a good chunk for ''VideoGame/MarioParty 4''. She's a more sporty and loud TomboyishPrincess than either Princess Peach or Rosalina.

* Buttercup from ''WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls'' has her hair in a stylized BobHaircut. Her more feminine sisters wear GirlishPigtails (though her hair is barely longer than Buttercups when down) and bone-straight respectively. Buttercup is the tomboyish BloodKnight of the group.
