** ''Anime/LoveLiveSuperstar'': Season Three will have Tomari Onitsuka, the younger sister of Natsumi Onitsuka, join Liella! following Natsumk joining in season 2. Both of them will be in the same sub-unit 5yncri5e! as well.

* Music/FleetwoodMac became one in 1970 when John [=McVie=] married Christine Perfect, who (after years of sort of orbiting around it) finally became an official member. 1974 saw the addition of Lindsey Buckingham and Music/StevieNicks, who, while not married, more or less practically were. The disintegration of the [=McVies'=] marriage, the end of Buckingham and Nicks' relationship, and Mick Fleetwood's own divorce from his (non-musician) wife in 1976-77, and the subsequent cocaine-fueled game of musical beds that arose out of the simultaneous implosion of so many relationships in a single band, resulted in ''Music/{{Rumours}}'' but also in the eventual near-disintegration of the band.

* ''Film/TheSoundOfMusic'': The von Trapp children become this after Maria teaches them to sing, with their HonoraryUncle Max helping them join the Salzburg Festival while their father and Maria are on their honeymoon. This later gets invoked when the Captain and his family are caught in the midst of their escape by the Nazi: Georg explains that he and his wife are also performing with their children, since the band name is [[ExactWords "the von Trapp" family]].

* The Cornelius Brothers and Rose were an early country group consisting of brothers Fred, Cliff, Cal, and Don, plus their sister Rose. When Cliff passed away in 1949, another brother, Henry, replaced him.

* Music/{{Gojira}} includes brothers Joe and Mario Duplantier (vocalist/guitarist and drummer).

* The Music/MysteryJets are a Type 1: Lead singer/FaceOfTheBand Blaine Harrison's father Henry Harrison plays bass and guitar for the band.

* Music/CheapTrick has been this unofficially for the past few years. Their official drummer, Bun E. Carlos has filed a lawsuit against them for claiming that he is a band member while allegedly not allowing him to do anything as a member of the band ([[FaceOfTheBand Rick Nielsen's]] son has been playing drums for the past few years).

* Music/{{INXS}} has lead guitarist Tim Farriss, keyboardist Andrew Farriss, and drummer Jon Farriss. In fact, the band's original name was the Farriss Brothers. Many don't know this, probably because [[FaceOfTheBand Michael Hutchence]] wasn't one of them.

* Music/NewKidsOnTheBlock '''very''' briefly had two brother pairs: Aside from Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Creator/MarkWahlberg was in it for about 5 minutes along with brother Donnie.

* Music/DixieChicks: sisters Emily Robison and Martie Maguire; they've also recorded as a type 2 duo, the Court Yard Hounds.

* The Ronettes consisted of two sisters, Veronica and Estelle Bennett, and their cousin, Nedra Talley.
* The founding members of ThrashMetal band Death Angel were all cousins.
* The Court Yard Hounds, as mentioned above.
* Nelson is Matthew and Gunnar, the twin sons of Music/RickyNelson.
* The Staple Singers were Roebuck "Pops" Staples, joined by daughters Mavis and Cleotha and son Pervis. Pervis left and was replaced by another Staples offspring, daughter Yvonne.
* The Trachtenberg Family Slideshow Players are a husband and wife, with their teenage daughter on drums.
* The members of the Australian pop duo Music/TheVeronicas are twin sisters.
* [=MsLynch=] consisted entirely of the former [=B*Witched=] twins Edele and Keavy. Then they dropped the act and formed another one, Barbarellas.

* Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose, a moderately successful R&B group in the '70s, started out in the "some related" category, but by the time they had their chart success, they were all relatives. The group started out with brothers Carter and Eddie Cornelius, their sister Rose Cornelius, and childhood friend Cleveland E. Barrett, but Barrett died in a car crash before the group recorded its first hit. Not long after, the three siblings were joined by another sister, Billie Jo, before breaking up in 1976.
